Gippal: -is under a mecha part, one that resembles a car somewhat, his body laying flat on his back, covered in grease and dirt, eyes hard on the metal that he was welding-
Roxas: -Hearing the noise, he can't help but wander toward it, his curiosity being piqued. Seeing the metal, his ears shifted forward. He put a paw on the metal feeling the curves.- Did you make this?
Gippal: -noise startles him, his head snapping up and hitting against the undercarriage of the device. Curses for several seconds, rubbing his head, before he pulls himself out, ears flattening against his head, eyes narrowed- ... -mumbles in Al-Bhed- Yes.
Roxas: -Lifts his arm and scratches the back of his head, a very embarrassed look on his face.- Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. -Chewing on his lip, he turns back to the mecha.- I've just never seen anything like it.
Gippal: -sits up before standing and moves over toward a cloth, wringing his hands on it to get some oil off his hands, eyes flickering to stare at him- .... -nods a bit, looking back down-
Roxas: What is it? -Paws still touching the metal until he glances over toward the other male.- Ah, am I talking too much?
Gippal: -shakes his head some, before he sighs and rubs his temple some, body kind of tense- You're not as bad as my son... so no.
Roxas: -Tilts his head a little.- You have a son? -A small smile was on his face. He shifted some, readjusting the keyblade over his shoulder so it was more comfortable.-
Gippal: -curt nod, his body still tense, before he sighs and rubs his temple again, moving away, and toward the mecha again, tinkering with a few things- And a daughter.
Roxas: That's cool. It must be wonderful to be a dad. -He leans back against a wall, taking in the full side view of the large metal contraption.-
Gippal: It was... -jaw grits some, before he goes off quietly to himself, mumbling in Al-Bhed again, his body moving somewhat around the Mecha so that he could get himself distracted again-
Roxas: -Noticing there was something wrong with his line of questioning, he frowned and decided to try something else.- What is that... the language you're speaking?
Gippal: ... -looks over his shoulder staring some, before looking back at his Mecha- Al-Bhed... it's my people's language.
Roxas: Do you mind teaching me some? -Figured he was asking too much, but he couldn't help it. He sometimes felt as if the questions came out of him before he even had a chance to think them.-
Gippal: ... Teach you? -tilts his head somewhat, before he sighs and turns toward him, staring toward him for a few seconds, before he flicks his tail- Maynhehk ec hud ayco. Ed fyc mega sa dnoehk du maynh English.
Roxas: -Nods somewhat.- I can be a really good student, I promise. I love to learn. -Listens to what he said.- What does that mean?
Gippal: -stares toward him some, before his ear flicked up- I said that learning isn't easy. English was hard for me to learn.
Roxas: -Nods somewhat.- I imagine it probably isn't.. But when I put my mind to something I don't quit. -Smiles somewhat.-
