Short Summary of their plotline: Enakai stumbled upon Croatoan while looking for something new to collect. She however found something very unique. She found a glowing stallion that interested her. Her first intent was to collect him as her own possession and chase away all else that sought to claim him. Along their discussions he took her for the daughter of a water god. His dillusions both amused and annoyed her at first but soon she started to like being thought so highly of. She laid it all out on the line for him one day, claiming him and telling him no other would have him but her. He was in her mind his. Much to her own amusement, he took that as a proposal of mate hood and so claimed her in return.
What are their Parents Personalities?
Mother: While Vivacious in nature she's out going.. full of life with an undertone of her parents.. she's not above arguing with others if she's dead set in her own opinion. She's got moments where she'd try to convince you the sky was green and the grass was pink if she was so inclined to think such. And as such, she's slightly color blind. Green actually does look pink to her. Blues and yellows she sees without issues. She can hold grudges for a while and brood on them when she's been struck the wrong way. Much like any kid some of her personality comes from her parents, however for the most part, she'll almost never show her brooding side.
Father: Mysterious and aloof, the Croatoan is often lost in the mythos of his own creation. Believing himself to be a spirit of the forest, he often refers to himseld in third person (even in his thoughts) and always with the definitive article "the" before his name. He is, in his mind, the Croatoan. Sometimes gentle, often ambiguous, his poor mind is completely disjointed and out of touch with reality, possibly a result of dubious heritage.

What is their family dynamics? The children will be raised by their parents with some influence from Enakai's family. The Croatoan will want his children close by so as to teach them the religion he has created.
Traditions: Enakai has instilled a love of collecting upon her children just as the Croatoan has gifted to his children the religion dreamed up from his dementia.
Herd/Family culture: Tight-knit and wary of outsiders, they tend to keep to themselves in their small swampy glade. It's not unusual to see them conversing with fireflies as they arrange their collections.
Religious Beliefs: The Croatoan has created in his broken mind a pantheon of gods as a way to cope with his abandonment while still in his basket. As he's grown older and given in more to the schizophrenic dementia that is a part of his life, he's cemented his belief in being the son of a forest god and that his mate is a gift to him from her father, a water god. He firmly believes that his family are blood relatives of deities and will share these stories with anyone he meets, subtly converting them.

Short Summary of their plotline: During a raid on a group of humans, who turned out to be a band of gypsies, Apocalypse came across a mare tied to a stake in the ground. Originally he ignored her, going about his business of eating up a basket of fruits before he was noticed. However, this was one of the few times he was almost caught. As the gypsies ran after him, he took off, coming across the mare again. As payback for ruining his snack and thinking that all captured horses were prizes to humans, he quickly bit through the rope binding her and ushered her out of the clearing and through the trees until he was sure they were no longer being followed. Losing a captured horse would serve those two leggers right. Shortly afterward, he left her behind and went on his way.
The next night, she caught up with him, now viewing him as a savior and with no where else to go, she could think of nothing else to do. She followed him for the next day or so until he finally began to acknowledge her. It was interesting to him how easily she followed orders and after a little bit of experimentation, he realized there was nothing he couldn't ask her to do. It was amusing, at least up until the point he began to grow agitated with her constant voicelessness. Leaving her behind again with a lie, he debated on what to do until he decided he would give her a name himself, since she refused to tell him what her real name was.
Once they were together again, he finally paid her enough attention to realize that she wasn't quiet because she wanted to be, but because she couldn't speak. He named her 'Kathreftis,' a name befitting her dark appearance, he thought. It was also around that time that her fear of humans was revealed, something he decided to use to his advantage against the useless two leggers.
Apocalypse began to train her to fend for herself and even kill, molding her for his entertainment. Kath begins to lose herself in this new sport, but her master always pulls back on the emotional reins enough to keep her from going over the edge. In their time together, he grew a soft spot for her, an unusual thing for him. While she cares for him above and beyond, he has begun to care for her, as well.
What are their Parents Personalities?
Mother: Despite her twisted view on the world, Kath is loyal and kind to a fault. She will stand endlessly by one she trusts and loves, and at the moment, there is only one in her eyes worthy of that. She has become used to communicating with her eyes and actions as she was muted by a half self/half human inflicted condition. She was rescued from her trapped slavery in a traveling carnival by Apoc.
Father: Apocalypse split from his family as a young adult and grew up largely alone. The two or three horses (before his lifemate) who got too close were eventually slapped in the face with his personality. While he's talkative and comes off as charming at first, a little bit of time reveals a cold heart and a practiced liar. He takes pleasure in ruining someone's day and would even go out of his way to do it if it provided decent entertainment. The joker that takes his jokes a little too far by normal standards, he has a great sense of humor unless the joke turns out to be on him. Cross him, and Apocalypse wouldn't think twice about throwing a kick in the face. The idea of a 'society' with 'rules' is beyond him and he has no idea why anyone would care enough to listen. His greatest weakness is probably his curiosity. It's possible to placate him somewhat with something interesting, at least until he realizes he's being led. If you're not interesting, however, he definitely doesn't have the time of day for you. As far as the world around him, he considers two leggers and their captured horses ignorant and enjoys nothing more than swiping things right out from under their noses. Be it a pretty trinket or a bite to eat, Apocalypse has raided his fair share of camps and only almost been caught once or twice. Not a very pleasant stallion.

Mother: She used to be a carnival performer in a human gypsy caravan. The gypsies that were her captors thought her cursed, but used her anyway. Their fear turned to hatred and cruelty. They would tie to by her neck to a post in the ground and keep her food and water just out of reach. Soon, they stopped removing the rope from her neck and it started to cut into her as she would struggle for the nourishment. The rope cut through her vocal chords and left her for mute.
Father: Nothing official, but Apocalypse takes pride in being an accomplished thief. When average food is not enough to entertain him, he often steals his meals from human settlements.

What is their family dynamics? They will all be raised together as a functioning unit. Although Kath may hardly be a good mother, she will raise them well because she wants to give her master the strong offspring she feels he deserves. Apocalypse will expect his children to be able to keep up with them on their travels and would leave them behind as easily as he would leave their mother if they moved to slowly (with the understanding that they should be able to catch up later). The kids would also be taught how to steal and outsmart, joining their parents on human settlement raids. Once they're grown, it is their choice to stay or go, but they would need to be able to fend for themselves even if they stayed. Apocalypse does not see himself or his mate as adult babysitters and would have little patience for such foolishness.
Traditions: Two leggers are completely untrusted and often seen as moronic. They are often taken advantage of, stolen from, or even hurt and killed. This is something the foals will be brought up with. The vengeance against two leggers and the cold heart and mind to seek them out for such acts.
Herd/Family culture: There is no specific culture, these two have strayed far. Kath cannot even remember her own parents, while Apocalypse hasn't seen his parents in years and cares little for the family.
Religious Beliefs: There is nothing but survival and a twisted sense of companionship and loyalty.
