"Er, th-thank you....I...think...." Raphael said looking rather red before sighing and lifting her up in his arms. "Come on then, you're certainly not going anywhere like this." he said as he headed back to their room.

"Ohmygoshyou'reblushing!" Justine giggled madly, leaning in to quickly peck Raphael on the cheek. "For a vampire, your cheeks are awfully hot. If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were sick!"

"I somehow think you're the one feeling on the warm side...." Raphael said as he returned the inn, ignoring the looks he got as he carried the lush up to their room.

"Oh hush I'm just fine." Justine snuggled herself close to him, grinning all the more. I sincerely apologize for her horrible dialogue in these last few posts. Please don't noose me.

"Please try to calm down." Raphael sighed as he laid her down on the bed. "You're drunk and I'm sincerely regretting my choice of victim for you."

"You're gorgeous and I regret not really kissing you yet." Justine, due to the cruel delight I'm having with these atrocious lines, probably won't stop with the blatant flirting until she sobers up.

Raphael turned bright, a stark contrast to his pale skin, and looked stunned. "Just....please get some rest...." he murmured as he pulled the covers over her before crawling into his own bed. The question was just how much of this she'd actually remember.

"Oh, you're no fun! A girl hits on you and you run away." Justine pouted, almost sounding a little offended. "But I guess I'll be a good girl and back off if it REALLY makes you uncomfortable."

"Believe me, that's hardly the problem. I just wish you weren't under the influence of alcohol while you did it." Raphael said rolling over in bed to face her with a small, 'what am I going to do with you' smile.

"How do you know it's just the alchohol talking? Can't even a portion of it be genuine?" Justine was unrealistically sharp when drunk. Again, as I've pounded into any reader's head within the past billion posts or so, this is due to lazy writing and a smidgen of Rule of Funny.

"Well it's either that or artificial feelings of devotion brought about by my turning you." Raphael sighed as he lay an arm across his eyes. "You're not thinking clearly, just get some rest." he said rolling over onto his side facing away from her. "If you keep talking like this by tomorrow then I'll happily believe you."

Raphael smiled, hearing her breath slow in her quiet rest before joining her in sleep. He hid under the blankets as daylight came and went before gently shaking Justine awake. They couldn't stay in town forever, especially with Roxanne lurking around. "How are you feeling?" he asked softly as he sat on the edge of her bed while looking down at her.
