Egg: At about half an inch in circumference the egg is delicate in human hands and it often laid in clutches of three attached to the underside of a heavier stone in the shallows of the ocean. This is to prevent the eggs from being washed out with the tide avoid the onslaught of storms as well avoid predators. It is very important that the egg be deep enough that even at low tide the eggs would not be exposed to air or the sun as this causes the egg sac to become leathery and the baby dragon won't be able to breath or break out of the sac.

Under the right conditions it takes a short for the babies to hatch. The tide must be low and the moon out.

Habitat: The Barbed Water dragon tends to live in shallow water along the coasts of more temperate climates.

~ How Ladon looks currently as a Juvenile, he is in Midori's care and is a bit on the spoiled side since he is the young witch's first familiar. The two of them, along with Midori's broom, are what currently consist of the witch boy's coven but Midori hopes to add new members soon. Ladon could care less if it's just them or a mass of beings, so long as he gets his gummies he's happy.

Ladon's 'Room'

~ Ladon has a large, fifty gallon fish tank that he lives in though only at night. It had various decorations, rocks, real plants, and the like, as well as some water. It had a sort of beach/ocean set up to it that the dragon seems to favor. While it's a fun place to swim and play he much prefers when Midori carries him around on their various adventures. Still, it makes for a good bedroom as well as a good place to keep his horde as he starts to build it.

Ladon's Reqs

The egg stage is used only during the auctions and raffle events. As soon as the event is won/over the egg will hatch in the next 48hrs into the Hatchling.

The Hatchling is like a awkward chibi stage of the young dragon. This stage lasts 2 weeks.

Juvenile is the third and longest stage. Adult stage takes a year to get to. From when you won your dragon -> 1 yr later. Why so long? Well each dragon is hand drawn and original. The final stage adult will be primarily a head shot and a detailed one at that.

Elusive human stage? - Human stage will only be for those who Role play. You must get a certain number of points from role-playing to get this rare stage.

Points

Collecting points happens in many ways, including but not limited to:

- RP: Journal entries, solos, PDs, even thread RP as long as you log it. Rewards vary, but this is the best way to rack up those points.

- Events: Even if you don't win anything, you still get points for participating. Double your chances, ladies and gents.

- Check ins: The easiest way, but not exactly the fastest. Every month you check in saying "Yes, I'm still around!" and you earn points. Simple.

As mentioned, the amount of points you get varies. It's not exactly difficult to keep track, and here's an easy break down:

- 5 pts: Solo RPs (less than 1000 words), journal entries, monthly checks, unfinished PDs, participating in events

- 10 pts: Solo RPs (1000+ words), complete PDs

- 15 pts: PDs that are more than 2 pages long (like I said, we reward RP)
