M'hurKh paddled through the bay's waters, climbed up onto the beach, and gave a mighty shake of his scales, fins, and fur to dispatch the water from them. The salt remained, tinting his scent as it always did, and the harpoon's loose splinters rattled with the motion. Once this was completed, he gave a satisfied little nod and waddled further inland over shattered seashells and the sand dressing the bay, to drop his half-mangled little fish on top of the little bag of odds and ends. Mostly-intact little seashells, heavily flawed pearls, pretty rocks, broken-off bits of coral he'd found, and a very small, unopened butterfly clam who's death had probably occurred long ago, before the shell had washed up on the beach.

He, for a moment, hung back to admire his dinner, and the new decorations, before he tugged at the edges of the old, worn little towel to knot them with his clumsy little paws and pick the bag's knot up in his jaws. When the weight sagged, runs in the faded flannel became obvious and partially displayed the contents of the sack, but somehow managed to keep itself together. The resulting package was maybe a foot long from saggiest point to sharpest, but he carried it as though he held the treasures of the sea.

M'hurKh paused in his path as he walked, looking over towards the fae curiously before slowly slinking up next to her. He parked himself a few feet away, pondering the waves while his little satchel of old flannel and pointless trinkets flopped in front of him quietly. Over the next few moments, he moved forward with his little bag and peered around at the forlorn noodle next to him.

After a few more moments, before he was noticed, he untied the makeshift bag and tapped her on the shoulder with one paw. "Not should be sad. Has fish." He murmured, nosing it towards her without it leaving the little pile, although it did topple some. The open sack let show a menagerie of less than perfect little trinkets, including a little pearl that looked like it was cracked and had been sliced, and the still in-tact butterfly shell he'd collected, alongside electric pink and bright yellow pieces of coral that almost matched his scale, but were roughly broken by the tide at odd angles.

M'hurKh stayed where he was, watching the fae with a tilted head, almost as though she were crazy. "Furry pretties should stay out of salty waterings... Cold wet's not good for pretty fur." He murmured, curling his tail around his ankles. He was quiet a moment, while he pondered how to answer. "... Bright colors like searocks, yes." He pointed at his colors lazily. "Big, pretty finses, yes." His paw moved over his flared spinal fin and the webbing his tail offered. "Personal pretties in scales? Uh-huh..." He pointed at the harpoon as though he were proud, nodding, and regarded the broken-off fishing line and hooks like strung pearls and diamond tassels."But... M'hurKhy not a bad fishyfox... Furpretty no scared."

M'hurKh gave a soft smile and didn't bother correctly the fae. "The furpretty... Kaltia... Why sad, furpretty? Not be sad." He watched her for a long moment, as though trying to invade her mind for the answer, then, simplisticlly bent and picked up the fish by it's tail and pushed it towards her, feet and rump planted in the sand to avoid startling her as he held onto the carcass. "'hur'hy shawr din'ha..." He muttered around the piece of meat. The fish wasn't in it's best state ever. Holes where his teeth had punctured the thin scales on the beast were obvious, with tiny bits of it torn some and a little piece or two had fallen off between it's capture and it's arrival in the bag of oceantrinkets.

M'hurKh tilted his head at her, the eagerness she showed to deny his offer something he would not have performed, personally. All the same, he flipped the fish and downed it... Mostly without chewing, before looking her over again. "M'hurKh thinks you're pretty. Why doesn't the furpretty?" He murmured, his head tilted as he watched her. He was quiet for a moment, as he pondered her, and his little stack of ocean trinkets. "Furpretty wants something from my bag? Could tie the rockpretties to your ears like the danglies some wear..."

I was having fun. I'm sorry you're not. And I would love to RP more with you. ^-^ You could always use this as the start to her change of attitude, and RP out the personality shift or something. ^-^
