Hello all:
Well I know I don't post alot in here. Heck lately I haven't posted more then once a week. But I think its time someone said something. So here it goes. I believe that we need to stop wasting our gold funds on buying up all the sealed letters we can get our hands on. I mean we are paying 5k+ for them and selling them for 1k-3k to try and stop inflation. And they are bought only about 10% of the time by a gaian who won't just sell it for a 2k-4k profit. Well frankly I don't think its working I mean we have made dents here and there but to reach the big goal of the guild I think we have to go about it in a different way. so here is what I purpose we do.
1.) We align ourselfs with a price guide like maybe Lucky devil? Why you ask. because its a well known price guide.
2.) Stop using the market place prices to price our items. why because it only helps inflation.
3.) Only buy and sell our Items in the exchange. Why because if we have our threads going in the exchange saying Items are only worth x amount of gold. then others will follow.
4.) Start talking to each other more. Why to bring strength to our guild and make us more like a family.
5.) The inflation guilds talk to each other thous they are more of a family thats why the inflation continues.
6.) Help each other by bumping threads. Why because it brings up moral.
7.) Who cares if the inflation guilds spy on us if we are all doing the same thing?
8.) There is strength in numbers and right now our numbers are huge we have a very large guild here but what maybe 10-15 active members. but since we are all trying to do things by ourselfs and thats not strenght. we need to start doing things more as a guild.
Theres are my thoughts on what we need to do. everything I have can be molded to more fit how everyone feels but my whole point is why are we wasting gold to get no where? we need another way to go about things. I mean don't you think that you are wasting your gold only to have inflation continue to rise?

Most of the crew is aware of the non-closeness of the members, and we're working on some events and other possible threads that will bring us together.
These are very good ideas. But instead of just stating them, maybe we could all put them into action? whee biggrin
And I don't think anyone will ask you to leave the guild because of that. neutral We want people to be active. 3nodding

As I've made note of many times before, It'd be a lot better to, instead of selling them at 1-3k as you say and rarely have it be bought by someone actually looking for one, we should sell via marketplace at a bit lower than the regular price
but lots of them
have like 4 or 5 accounts sell a pages worth of sealeds at 2-400g less than the current price
have a few other people then undercut the first set of sealeds
that done often over time will drive prices down, no one will really buy at higher than lowest buy biggrin

If you buy letters and sell them cheaper, then you're only lining the pockets of inflators who buy your letters and then sell them for 8k or more on opening day, any way. neutral
If that's your method then you might as well give them your gold and cut out the middle man.
I do agree that inflation is bad, but I don't think deflation is the answer to the problem, all you really do is cause the economy to go into a state of flux, making it more suceptable to attacks from inflators who seek to prey on the lack of confidence of the common vender.

Maybe ~ but there are plenty of other well known price guides. I would stay loyal with rip. I have spoken to Blast for a long long time

Not possible. Unless you have powers to take away marketplace. People who buy your goods at deflated prices will only go sell them on the marketplace. Making the whole thing pointless.

I dont like selling on the exchange it bores me. People are rude. People always beg.

Noone cares. But they are better out of the guild.
