Here is where we introduce ourselves, but let's make it more interesting. No one is a perfect writer. We all know things we lack in our writing. So we will say our names and what we feel we lack. Others in the guild may see what you lack, and be able to help you with it. By helping one another improve, we can make the community here a better place.
To show that I practice what I preach:
Hello, My name is Janice the light, and I lack the ability to roleplay as a villian...I just can't seem to stick to my dark side, and every time my villan ends up being subpar
I lack the ability to understand timelines: I have never been able to stick well to 1947 or 1492...I mean who knows exactly what they did or didn't buy and like in those times. I have a hard time remembering what inventions were not around then
I lack the ability to make a huge setting
I like small spaces. Just a town, or just a village. A whole world is hard for me to construct.
Even though I have these flaws, I know I can become a great writer with practice.

Hello I'm Rom, And I'm an alcoholic.

no, sorry, wrong forum.
and I lack the ability to write good filler. Not so much filler, but detail. I usually have to progress my character large amounts per post in order to get anything more than a paragraph in. But I'm working on it.
I lack The ability to create OC from preexisting topics. like books and such. To those of you with, say, anime fancharacters, kudos on your creativity.
Finally. I lack Learned abilities. I've always been good at writing,and roleplay comes naturally. However, I don't learn well. I've almost never had to try, and so practice comes hard for me.

Hello, my name is Adryrn, and I lack the natural ability to be concise (but I try hard to be nonetheless).
This tends to result in me:
-Not including enough information about a complicated concept and being unclear.
-Including too much unimportant information and being unclear.
-Not writing summarizations/explanations well the first time and having to go back and edit it (like this post, for example =D).
I also tend to be overly self-indulgent and include things I might be obsessing over at the moment of writing but that aren't necessary, or are things I actually know very little about (ex: drugs, playing rock music, the 60s/70s/80s, journalism, homelessness, gangs, New York).
And I often have to rely on other RPers to keep my characters engaged because I tend to give them motives or personalities that will make them walk right out of the RP if given half a chance.

hi, my name is Lucifer catafalque (you can call me alice, or by any of my current OC's names, and I will respond) and I lack sanity. my writing tends to get a little crazy. I roleplay a lot with friends, so I make sure I'm understandable, but sometimes I find the need to request psychotic plots. a warning to you all, lol.

Hello, I'm Michel.
I usually lack the ability to make characters that fit well in modern/realistic RP's, I just prefer fantasy.sci-fi based.
I also sometimes lack creativity in my characters. Most seem to follow a set of parameters, that I don't realize until later.
I lack the ability to wrote long posts for fights. I can be detailed, but they're just short.

Hello, my name is 12345678gitl, most call me Numbers, and I lack...
The ability to kill of characters, even when it's necessary for the plot. (I attempted this with the book Im writing- the character was stabbed and fell off a boat in the sea at night, but I still couldn't outright say he was dead).
The ability to NOT involve romance in my writing. A book ir roleplay isn't entertaining to me if there isn't/aren't love interests.
The ability to write about modern day places. I can write in modern day times fine, but it can't be in our cities, like New York or Paris.
I also struggle on a daily basis with my godmoding tendencies. I have them mostly under control, but once or twice every few months I will slip up and do a slight godmod.
I lastly lack good spelling.

Hey I'm Kana and i have the ever so lovely writters block cancer and my spelling is horrible.
I lack the ability to jump into an rp at first but once I get started it's no problem.
I lack:
creating characters some times
being a flirt
coming up with guy real life profiles

I am EpicDragon and I am a lazy b*****d and have been on gaia almost every day for the past five years. [It's become habitual to check whats on the up and up though occasionally life has called me away.]
I lack:
The ability to not be overly creative.
The ability to not create several characters.
The ability to not have a life story for all of my characters thought up in a short amount of time.
The ability to not go into detail about the cultures and history of the worlds I create for said characters.
The the need to try to create typical characters. [Like the vampire or demon that is seen in every single rp out there.]
The need to play anything besides an Original Character. [Won't see me playing as ichigo from bleach or some sort of Goku rip-off]
I have around 200 characters created and each is somehow connected to each other in some way or form.
I tend to give my characters flaws in their personality or sometimes pysical flaws such as missing arms or an inability to walk or simply having damage to an eye.
I tend to avoid creating Mary Sues.

I lack the ability to create huge ideas for roleplays.
I lack the ability to stay away from romance.
I lack the ability/encouragement to roleplay as a male.
I am good at random twists and fantasy. I am sure that I can improve!

Hello, I'm beleiveimgothnprttyalil but I go by Bele. I lack many things like...
-A higher level of vocabulary, I tend to not understand words that can substitute commonly used words.
-Consistency, I get distracted often and it's hard for me to continue writing when I'm gone for a while.
-Interest; If I'm not interested in the genre or the style of writing then it's hard for me to write.
-The ability to write the male gender. They end up emotional, when they shouldn't be.
-The ability of having structure, or a plot. I never write to have a plot I just let the setting and the characters do the talking and write where they want it to go.
-A broad horizon. I can only write for a few different settings and a select few personalities.
-The ability to write as a villain. I don't have a dark side, but if I did then it's locked away tightly.
I'm glad that there are writers here who could help me with these flaws and I look forward to writing with you all.

Hey Everyone, My name is Demonwarrior17 but call me DW or Keith, either one is Fine, and I lack in a lot of things such as:
-Playing as a Villain, I don't like to be evil and can't seem to make one without it being a reference to another villain
-Making long Posts, I love to type but if there isn't much for me to reply to or i just don't have it in me, I make short posts and I'm trying to fix that.
-Interests, I am willing to rp anything but there are times I only wish to rp a certain Genre and it makes it hard for me to focus on one rp i'm not into.
-Real Life rps, I just can't stand them, I prefer to have a rp where my imagination is the limit, not hindered like in real life
-Romance, god I just love Romance and its hard for me to stay away from it
I'm working hard on fixing these errors but that will be in due time, I hope to have fun with you all and make Epic rps

I like to help out with that as much as I can. Long Posts are great. And time here is no problem. If it takes time to type a post, then take the time. But don't forget: Quality or Quantity. We all have things we can't get into at one time or another. Don't worry about it. And the great thing about the guild: If there isn't an RP that interests you, Make one! I don't think I've seen a straight forward real-life RP. I mean we have a freakin orphanage full of kids with freaky powers. Who doesn't like Romance in an RP? Welcome to the Guild!
