Clint: *is perched on the counters in the kitchen, attempting to cut some of the objects out of his tail with a knife*
Veasna: Walks in having seen the light reflected from the knife. She stood upright her paws on the counter, tilting her head at him. "What on earth are you doing?"
Clint: Trying... to get... some of this s**t out... *gets frustrated and throws the knife on the counter, before turning to the other noodle* ... o-oh. I'm sorry
Veasna: "Why are you trying to get it out? And how long has all of it been in there?" Smiles gently at him and his apology "It's okay..."
U-uhm... awhile... *lowers his ears* Uh... you seem really... friendly.
Veasna: "I'm always up for meeting new people..." Her tail swished lightly, "I'm Veasna Tarot Marn... What's your name?"
Clint: I'm just used to people being afraid of me... *blinks his pupilless eyes* My name is Clint.. its nice to meet you, Veasna.
Veasna: "Why would people be afraid of you? You seem nice enough too me." She grins at him "It's wonderful to meet you Clint"
She fails to notice one of her paws starting to slip off the counter.
Clint: I don't know... I guess they get intimidated..? I try not to be threatening though... I'm glad you at least gave me a chance... hopefully I won't scare you off, haha. *smiles weakly*
Veasna: "I honestly doubt you will... I'm not one to scare easy."
Her paw slipped and she hit her head off the counter, lifted it up holding a paw just above her eye where she hit, "Ow...I am however, a Clutz."
Clint: *is startled when her head hits the counter* Oh no, are you okay? You didnt hit your head too hard did you? Oh god, I should've noticed you were slipping... *bites one forepaw nervously* I'm so so sorry...
Veasna: "No need for apologies, I tend to do things like that a lot. Thing like tripping and falling over air." She smiled lightly at him, "It's fine Clint."
She then removed the paw from her face "See! Nothing to worry about!"
Clint: Alright, if you say so... *slides off the counter onto the floor* Well, at least if I'm not up there, I'm not providing another venue for injury. I can do that much.
Veasna: Her smile widened "It's appreciated..."
She tilted her head at him, "Hey do you like card tricks?"

Clint: Uhm.. card tricks? What do you mean?
Veasna: "You know magic tricks? I'm only an assistant but I know a few..." She shrugs, rubbing the back of her head with her paw. "I really like magic and things like that."

Clint: Oh... I think a few of my housemates know magic. Or at least like it... I wouldn't mind seeing it in action, if you don't mind.

Veasna: "Really? You wanna see a trick? Yay!" She jumps a little her tail wagging, excited that he is interested in seeing her trick and sarts fishing around for a normal deck of cards Pulling out several packages of Tarot Cards and placing them on the counter.
"Ah ha!" She pulls out her only deck of playing cards and blushes deeply noticing she'd just displayed her hobby right in front of him. "I'm Sorry, I hope the other cards don't freak you out too much. I-I forgot I was carrying all of them."

"I'm not sure why they would..." he gave a long look to the tarot decks. "I didn't know they made different kinds of cards... can you show me these other ones after the magic trick?"

Veasna: Grinned at him, her blush fading only to swell again. "I'd Love to!"
She took the playing cards out of the pack shuffling lightly, her eyes on Clint. "When I'm done shuffling I'm going to turn around and You should take a card anywhere out of the deck and make sure I don't see it. Okay?"
She put the shuffled deck down and turned away, still instructing. "After you take it out memories what card it is and put it back anywhere you want."

Clint: *pulls out a card; the seven of diamonds* Mmh.. *he slides it back in to the full deck and stacks it neatly* Alright, I picked a card, and it's back in the deck now.

Veasna: She nodded turning around, picking up the deck carefully and smiling at him. "What would you say if I told you I can pull your card to the top of the deck? Watch..."
She holds the deck out so he can see it and she flicks the top card three times, then flips it over to reveal the 7 of diamonds. "Tada! Cool trick huh?"

"... How did you do that." He stared hard at the card deck and his card, now sitting proudly beside it. "H-how did you pull it out- that's not even where I put it back in!"

Veasna: "A magician never reveals her secrets" She giggled lightly, "So I did good then?"
She was loving his reaction, it meant she had done the trick perfectly and She smiled at him, blushing and her tail wagging.

He shook his head lightly. "Not even if I bribed you? You still wouldn't tell me? Not sure what I'd offer as a bribe anyway..." he turned to look at the Tarot decks. "Can you do this trick with those, too?"

Veasna: "I can give you the card if you want, I have more Decks at home." Veasna tilted her head towards the other cards, "Those cards are more for predictions, A way of telling fortunes. Even though each deck has the same cards there are different ways of interpreting them and different styles of using them... I made two of the decks and I use them most often."
She blushed a deep red realizing she had just blabbed all of it out, "I'm sorry if I'm boring you."

Veasna: "I'm glad I'm not boring you." She smiled shuffling the deck slowly then putting them face down on the counter. She waved him over, next to her so he could see and drew the first card. "The Knight of Cups, An opportunity will arise..."
She flipped a second card placing it down next to the first. "The Wheel of Fortune, that will cause movement to..."
She flipped the last card, "The Chariot, A Union of Opposites. I'm afraid I can't give you specifics on your fortune, sorry."
