●●● The Grieco Pack ●●● Maybe charging at some who had a gun wasn't the brightest idea. Still, what had hit her had only been rubber bullets. It still hurt like hell, but she had been blinded by the fact that someone had actually shot at her. She was pissed. As she ran she got right up on the woman. She enjoyed the moment when she saw the look on the woman's face. Though, suddenly there was a face behind her and a gun aimed at her.
The sound made her ears ring and it seemed that time had suddenly slow down. She felt her body collapse to the ground and roll over the rocks. Her mind seemed to be blank for a moment. All she could feel was the searing pain in her shoulder. It took her some time to actually process what had happened. The animal blinked and made a move to get up. She needed to get out of here. The human inside seemed to have receded and animal instincts had taken over. The tiger tried to get up, but fell again after a few steps. Her eyes were focused on the forest. Need to hide. The tiger made a move to get up again when there was suddenly someone next to her. A growl escaped her lips and she raised her uninjured paw to make a swipe at the man's legs before everything went black.
There were brief sensations of being moved. People touching her. She came in and out of unconsciousness. She felt the bumps on the road, as she was in the car, but couldn't see where they were going. There was something over her head. Thoughts were jumbled and she passed out again. The next time she woke up she was lying in a bed. She used those words loosely, because it looked like someone had just dumped her there. A groan escaped Koreena's lips as she tried to sit up. She hissed in pain as she felt a burning in her shoulder. Turning to look there was piece of cloth covering her wound. It was on her right shoulder just above her arm pit.
Confusion hit Koreena as her eyes searched her surroundings. Nothing looked familiar. She tried to remember what had happened, but at the moment nothing was coming to her. She could remember things from yesterday. Talking to people and then going to bed at night. The rest just wasn't adding up in her mind. For the first time in a long time she was actually scared. Her status in the pack and the people around her always made her feel safe and secure. Now she trapped in a dark room, didn't know where she was or what was going to happen to her, and she was wounded.
She was naked, she noticed. There was a lot of dried blood on her body. Her own blood it would seem. It was then that she started taking notice of her surroundings. Moving cause her head to swim. There was already a large knot on her head from where she had been kicked. There were light in the hall way, but there wasn't one in the room. Still, it was enough to see. It looked like they were in jail. Everything was cold and hard. She was laying on a bunk bed and across from her was another bunk bed..and Alliyah! "Alliyah...Alliyah!" she hissed from her side of the room. They were both tied up still which didn't allow her much movement or she would have gone over to her pack mate. As, Samael walked away without getting their input about going tomorrow. She rubbed at her eyes, tiredly as he walked out of the room. Sighing, she looked at Kiah. Well, it looked like it was just the two of them now to deal with it. They would go check it out in the morning. Samael was right about one thing. They shouldn't go all mixed together and let the hunters know that they were on to them. Though, if they were watching, then they would find out anyways. "We got a new girl today. She's a snowy owl. If your pack can lead us there in the morning, she can actually check out the building and see what would be the best way to get in," she said, her mind drifting to Neena. She didn't know the girl. They had barely talked before Cali and drug her along with them. Hopefully, she would help. All these new people to her pack..she needed to talk to them soon and figure out where their heads were at.
"I suppose we will talk about it in the morning," she said, growing quite tired. Running a hand through blonde hair, she slipped gracefully off the counter and walked out of the kitchen. Walking out, she heard Tabby calling out for Lonny. Cali winced at the pitch of her voice. She was assuming that Tabby was drunk. Oh, little did she know. Looking to the living room, music was still being played and people seemed to be huddled around the new girl and Hunter. Cali frowned, seeing the woman's leg in Hunter's lap. Ugh. She shook her head at the thought of being jealous. He was fixing her leg up. She barely even knew Hunter so she didn't know why it bothered her in the first place. Samael seemed to be interrogating her. Really, everything seemed to be happening at once. There were too many people in the room and it was just exhausting.
Her aunt had once said that leading the pack was like babysitting. Right now she was feeling what she meant. Tabby was screaming for Lonny. Music being played. Everyone surrounding the new girl and now it seemed that a male and Kiah's female were fighting. Blue green eyes swung to the fight and she watched them for a moment, taking in their words. He was obviously drunk and the woman had snapped on him. She could guess why. Cali was quite positive that the wolf shifted wouldn't take lightly to someone hitting on his woman. Well, it looked like his woman. Cali wasn't exactly sure who the girl was, but then again, she didn't get into the mutt's business.
The fight ended badly, with the guy walking out the door. Cali sighed and looked to Samael, since the man was from his pack. He seemed preoccupied and didn't notice it. With a sight, the blonde ran a hand through her hair, and headed out to follow him. Usually, whenever a pack member was man, she usually found it best to let them blow off some steam. When there were hunters outside? No. Walking after him, she wondered briefly why she cared whether he was taken or hurt. He wasn't from her pack. Well, Xammar had always been accepting to everyone as a shifter. It didn't matter what animal they were. He was still a shifter, so she went after him. Walking outside, she could see him wandering around. With everything that had been going down, she was honestly just depressed and could relate to what he was feeling. Normally, Cali kept her mood up. It was either happy or angry. Everything that had popped up today had shredded that to pieces. "Don't go far, I ain't walking in heels after you," she told him, sitting down on the porch and leaning her head against the cool metal railing. She closed her eyes for a moment, relaxing. She wasn't ready to go outside. yet. So, she would just sit out there and make sure nothing happened to the man.
