"Yes, my land," Cali echoed, his comment. She was proud of being a leader. She was the only female leader out of the three. That said something of her authority, did it not? In her mind, hers was the best and she wasn't just saying that because she was in it. It accepted all types of people and didn't send the strays away. She would gladly take any of them if they didn't have a home. That was noble. Something she took pride in. Hell, Irial lived with them and he was from the Grieco pack. As long as they didn't pose a threat to her family, anyone was welcome into her home.
When he explained why he shifted, she merely pursed her lips thoughtfully. Her mind had drifted to the part about it being so hot there. It puzzled her for a moment. Maybe, because she was used to the heat..today was an average day for her. Cali preferred the sun's rays to the harsh coldness. For someone who spent most of their time outside, you would think they wouldn't be so pale. "And you are supposing that bear is me?" she said with a bemused smile. She twirled a strand of hair around her finger as she watched him.
He soon got out of the water, revealing the rest of himself. Well, the water was cold, she couldn't say anything to him about that. Plus, she was used to seeing naked men like this all the time. He didn't seemed ashamed earlier when her eyes had combed his body, and she had indeed noticed the same treatment being returned. His comment made her raise an eyebrow. Surely, she couldn't just let this good looking man just wander off. He was a fellow bear and that just added to his appeal. Cocking her head to the side she walked up to him, so that she was standing right in front of him.
Though she was tall for a woman, he was still taller than her so she had to incline her head to get a good look at him. She studied his face for a long minute. Blue eyes searched his face to take him in. There wasn't any sort of ill will from what she could see. His comment also had a hint of being hurt. Being unwelcome. That wasn't something she was used to. She raised her hand, and drew her index finger along his jawline, stopping at his chin. With that she gave him a small tap on the cheek, making up her mind then. "You look like your hungry," she told him.
With that, she stepped past him, brushing up against him slightly. He could follow her if he wished. She wouldn't force him to come with her if he didn't want to. With a sway to her hips she headed back towards the house. She wouldn't stop to turn around to see if he was coming or not. She would hear his footsteps behind her.
