Irial gave a lopsided grin as Cali burst into a fit of laughter. It hadn't been that funny, he didn't think. She must have been drinking more then what he had though. He could smell the alcohol on her breath as she spoke to him "Isn't that what you came here for?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as if he already knew the answer. Everyone in the pack knew that Cali was a sexual creature. She was always flirting with the boys, not that he minded the attention from the sexy blonde. Still, he didn't know when the last time she actually had sex with anyone. Maybe it had been a while and that was why she was so moody lately. It would explain a lot.

He felt a finger on his lips, so he couldn't respond to her question. What he was getting into? This was his leader, after all. He had known her since he was a little child. Oh, he knew he was getting into something. Though, at the moment, he didn't really care. Suddenly, he felt lips press against him. She was drunk and the kiss was hot and passionate. His hands found her waist, and he pulled her closer, so that she was pressed up against his.

The kiss was broken off by Cali. She was distracted by something off to the side. A fight. Tabby. Should have known she would be the one to get into a fight. It didn't take much to piss her off as it was. While she was drunk, well, he usually stayed away from her. It seemed she was doing well in the fight. Though, the woman in his arms, turned her attention back to him and the thought of the fight vanished from his mind. He felt her hands toy with the waist band of his jeans and he made a small growl of approval.

"Perhaps," he responded, in a husky voice. Her lips were at his ear now. Oh, she was good at that. The blood had definitely flown towards a certain part of him. His head leaned forward, towards her neck. He bit at it and lightly sucked the pale flesh. Surely, it would leave a mark for her. A hickey. His hand traveled up from her hip till it was caressing her breasts. Toying with them. They were the best inventions ever made. He didn't think he would ever get bored with a woman's tits. It was then that he felt her hand grab him. That was all it took. Irial was definitely happy to see her. "I don't know if you could handle it, babe," he mumbled into her hair. "Maybe you'll have to take a look and see," he said when she commented about how he seemed ready. No, he wouldn't mind at all being with her.

For most nights it was the same for Irial. He was often troubled with nightmares from his past when he slept. For a while it had come to the point that he avoided sleeping, and Cali had constantly nagged at him for it. Though, he supposed she might understand now. She was the only one that knew. Though, he wasn't sure she would be so accepting to how he passed his time with smoking. Even so, that night he was brought to remember once again, despite the comforting small body snuggled up to his side. As usual he saw the face of his mother, tormented by the pain of child birth. He would never say it out loud, but he had always resented her for leaving him. He had been too small to have been abandoned. She knew what would happen and she did it anyways without trying to help him. No pack. No home. He had only been four at the time. He had been lucky to have found the Xammar pack to take him in, because the Grieco pack would never have had him for his mother's sins.

The dream shifted to the different pictures of the Grieco house. Their ominous and disapproving eyes boring into him from the frames of their pictures. They soon were the disapproving eyes of the hunters as they raised their guns to take aim at him. Irial's eyes opened to the sound of small voices speaking. He lay still, listening for a moment. He recognized the voice of Logan, and he was assuming the other voice was the little girl he had saw sleeping. He listened to their silent chatter until they left the room. Only then did he roll over, flinging the covers off of him. His body was layered with a thin sweat from the dream. He stared at the wall for a long moment. He had chosen this room for a reason. The walls were painted a pale blue for that of a child. Though, the paint was peeling and the dust settled over old furniture. It had obviously been unused for quite some time. twenty-two years it seemed.

After some time, he got out of bed. He through on some jeans and and a plain white shirt and left the bedroom to shut out bad memories of long ago. He didn't suppose any of the others would understand what being in this house was doing to him. He kept his eyes to the floor as he mechanically moved through the hall way. He ruffled Logan's hair as he passed the two kids. He didn't dare look up to the judging eyes of the pictures that hung on the wall. He passed the kitchen to find it occupied with quite a bit people getting ready to eat. Most of them were from Joslyn, so he had no incline to join them. Besides, he was anything but hungry. As he passed, he went to head outside. Some fresh air would do him some good and at least get him away from the house. To him it wasn't just a house. He felt it breathing and watching him as he moved across the marble floor of the foyer. Considering he was looking down, he didn't see the woman standing there. It wasn't until he was nearly on top of her that he raised his eyes to see a pretty blonde face. Bumping into her, he instantly recoiled away as if the touch burned him.

After a moment he blinked, realizing his reaction towards her. It hadn't been personal; the house made him on edge. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention," he apologized, brushing some light brown hair out of his eyes. She was quite pretty, but he had seen her hanging over the Joslyn leader. She wasn't someone he wanted to be acquainted with for this reason. He suddenly seemed embarrassed by the situation and spun on his heals to leave. Moving around her, he passed the den to see Samael and the new guy. He scowled and kept walking till he was at the front door. Yanking it open he caught sight of Cali, Neena, and Kiah. He let out a irritated door and slammed the door s**t again, blocking them out. Turning around he headed back to
