1. Someone who claims McRoll came first is either an idiot or a troll, neither of which is worth debating. Anyone actually curious enough to investigate which is the original would come to an easy answer. The nice thing is, people do, and because they do, they are are introduced to the wonderful world of Touhou.
2. Those at the Cirno News Network (or was it channel ⑨ news?) are probably the
only ones who are confused about that. If anything, it makes them look bad while giving Bad Apple some air time. If some one was able to find and enjoy those videos because of that, thats a good thing. The woman was kind of annoying though...

This one or the synthesia? Faerie's Aire and Death Waltz by John stumps is known to be a ridiculously complicated and practically unplayable song. When you look at what it would take to play COOL&CREATE's remix on a piano it looks ridiculously complicated and practically unplayable, unless your as talented as marasy8 (the guy playing in the vid). I think it was meant as a joke to draw parallels and caim the difficulty of trying to play that remix. In that sense it can be almost flattering, though if you hear attempts at playing the actual Death waltz probably not so much (the piece was meant as a joke and I don't think it is even half attempting to be an actual song). Its also better than people confusing the clown for being the original eh? and it introduced me to marasy8's channel, so that good as well. You should see him play some of the other touhou songs such as
Cirno's perfect math class and
Kero ⑨ Destiny.
