Nate had worked at the stables at the country club for as long as he could remember. It was the only place that he could spend the day with the horses. Even though he couldn't afford to be a member of the club, he could at least watch the other socialites enjoy their time there. One day, a new man comes in the stables. Nate fall head over heels for ___________, but how does their social standing keep them apart? Even more so, does___________feel the same about Nate?
But Nate still tries to get closer to him. He cares extra for ___________'s horse, cleaning her, feeding her, making sure her stall is perfect. The other patrons think that something is going on, but ___________ thinks that Nate is just being kind. How do the pair confront each other when everyone is trying to keep them apart? And why is the horse trying to set them up!?

((Okay! I'll just start))
Nate brushed down the horse's mane, she whinnied under his touch. He chuckled at the horse and whistled as he continued to brush her.

Nick was humming a little loud as he walked down the path to the stables. He hadn't gone riding in some time and he was just giddy that he finally could.

Nate nuzzled his face against the horse's. "I wish I could own a beauty like you...your owner must be so proud..." He started to comb and fix her mane, she snorted and stamped her foot.

Nick came in and looked around for his horse, he saw a cute red head nuzzling her and giggled, "You must like Fiona." he said.

Nate jumped when Nick spoke. He turned as red as his hair and nervously laughed. "She's...she's beautiful, you're so lucky..." He wiped his hand on his ratty and jeans and held out a hand. "Nathan Hathorne, sir..."

Nate stuck the horse brush in his pocket. He looked at Nick and Fiona. "She was a lucky woman, then." Nate grabbed the horse blanket and draped it over Fiona's back. "Would you like me to prepare her for your ride then?"

Nate nodded and grabbed Fiona's saddle. He settled it comfortably on the blanket and her back. Nate then tightened the needed cords and grabbed her bit and reins. He finished setting her up and helped the reins. "She's ready, sir..."

Nate blushed when Nick said to drop the formality. He smiled and nodded. "Any time, si-Nick..."
When Nick left, Nate leaned against the stable wall. He took a shuddering breath, Nick was so perfect...so kind...Nate didn't know what he was feeling.

Nick smiled as he left, what a cute stable hand, he though as he rode out. He returned after about two hours and hopped off his horse.

Nate was sleeping against some hay bays, another horse munching on the same ones. He moved in his sleep, only waking up when the horse bit his hair. "Ow! Tulip! Be careful where you're eating!"
