The night was unusually warm, but a cool breeze was starting to blow in, that usually ment a rain was coming. Jack'o was stretched out sleeping in his pumpkin garden. He wouldn't have many warm nights like this left. The season was changing to Autumn, his favorite time of year.
Another cool gust of wind blew in, bringing with is a flurry of colored leaves, reds, oranges, and yellows. Some of them landed on Jack, waking him up. He yawned and got to his feet stretching his spine. "It's night already, I over slept again"
The cold rain started to fall at that very moment startling Jack, he jumped and tripped in the pumpkin vines managing to tangle himself up in several vines. "Oh bother" he tryed to pull himself free, but was having trouble.

Falina stopped and closed her eyes, lifting her head up so she could feel the breeze that shifted through the night. Strands of her green hair tugged free of the braid that she usually kept it in as she stood, seemingly like a statue. She took in a deep breath, loving the taste of autumn on her tongue. This was her season, the season she brought to life and in turn brought her to life.
After a moment she lowered her head and opened her bright blue eyes, a striking contrast to her orange and yellow color scheme, and looked around. She wasn't surprised that no one was out this late, after all not many noodles were out past a specific time unless they were those who belonged to the night. She laughed softly to herself as she continued on her way. Her walk was going smoothly up until she found the pumpkin patch, and the poor orange fox who seemed to be wrapped up in the vines.
"Oh goodness, you seem to be in quite the situation sir. Would you like some help?" The blue-eyed vixen asked as she cocked her head to the side, looking at him and wondering what his response would be.

The vine Jack had been pulling on fell from his mouth when he looked up and saw the pretty female looking at him with clear blue eyes.
"um," he started a bit embarrassed to be found in the position he was in. "I could use some help, yes, I seem to have gotten myself a bit tangled up." He picked up a vine again giving it a tug but that only managed to tighten his bonds.
The sound of the soft rain hitting the leaves and hollow pumpkins was slowly picking up, if he didn't get loose soon he wound be soaked.

The vixen couldn't help but chuckle as she walked over to him, surveying the positions of both his body and the vines that had tangled around him. "It's not very often that the pumpkins find someone they like, I fear they didn't want to let you go." Her voice was light as she teased him, nosing a few unattached vines out of the way before she started to walk around him again.
After a little more nosing, some tugging, and snapping a few vines she was pretty sure that she had fixed his predicament, not even the least bit concerned with the coming rain. "There you should be good to go now, I don't see any other vines that seem attached to you." She stated, her voice still light as she came to stand in front of him again eyes sparkling.
"And while we are at it we might as well introduce ourselves. My name is Falina."

"The pumpkins like me, that's good to know. I've always liked them." He didn't realize he was being teased by her, in fact he liked the thought of the pumpkins wanting to hold onto him.
He watched her move around him working him free. He wondered where she came from in his time of need, "Not many come out to the pumpkin patch, I thought anyway, but I'm glad you came. If you hadn't come I wonder how long it would have taken me to get out on my own." As she looked at him with shining eyes he became a bit bashful and dropped his own eyes to look at his paws "I mean Thank you for your help miss." He was not very good at taking to pretty girls.
"Falina, what a pretty name." he raised his eyes to look at her again, she was the embodiment of Autumn. "I'm Jack O'"
