Hyakujuu ~ All Kinds of Animals Yajuu ~ Wild Animal Kainarasu ~ To Tame an Animal Animals have been with us since the beginning of time, always loyal and caring, even if others have been abused. This story is about those abused animals and the humans they will soon be partnered with…
In a strange hailstorm, a crystal shot down from the sky and shot to the ground like a meteorite, crash-landing in an open field. The crystal sent out an energy shockwave that disturb technology for a while, but it was only doing its job of altering the animal species. Humans were the only ones unaffected by these alterations. All other animal species were altered genetically by the crystals shockwaves, improving the animals’ speed, agility, strength, senses; everything. The animals lived on their normal lives, embracing the change with open arms.
An organization known as Kainarasu, To Tame an Animal, then came to the surface. They are altered “humans” that are believed to have come from the same place as the crystal, which in fact they obtained after it landed in the field without anyone noticing. In any case, these humans were out to retrieve the animals of the world that they see as the strongest of the newly altered species. Some of those stronger animals were with humans as pets, or lost in the wild yet had some sort of human connection. These “partnerships” were classified as Yajuu, Wild Animal, at least to the Kainarasu they were. In any case, the Kainarasu needed these animals back and will do anything to get them, even if it means capturing-kidnapping both the animal and the human in the partnerships. The Yajuu have discovered what their animal friends can do, and now that the Kainarasu are after them, they need to work together to fight back against the Kainarasu from taking over.

Though she is isolated a lot, she will accept others into her life after a certain amount of time. When someone gets close to her as a good friend, she is extremely protective of them. Appearance:  Bio: Luna was a normal child, born to an average household as the only child but her parents were very kind. They had gotten her pets before but they either passed away due to old age or there was some sort of accident. Her last pet died of cancer when Luna was thirteen and since then she didn’t want a pet since everyone had left her crying in the end. She lived at the edge of her city and thus was right next to the forest that surrounded her town. Luna often went into the forest to her “sacred spot” to relieve her troubled thoughts. Behind his cold appearance Is a warm hearted wolf, he can be playfull as well. Bio: Juubei's parents were killed by hunters but he managed to get away, he ran and ran for days until his legs couldn't move anymore. He fought off a lot of animals that tried to kill him but became wounded and scared during that time. Luckly, he regained feeling In his legs and ran once again, this time he came across a old man who was living by himself. Seeing as how he didn't have a home anymore, he decided to stay with the old man who was happy to care of him. The old man named him Juubei since his parents didn't have a chance to name him, so Junbei stayed him for a very long time before the man died of old age. Juubei was sad when this happened so he barried him In the forest and even found a grave stone for him. The wolf says at the tomb, day and night, only leaving to find something to eat or drink before returning. Skills: Strength and Sense's. Partner: N/A Other: Since Juubei can't really talk, he shows expressions with his eyes or tries to make them. He also wears a red bandana that was given to him by his former owner.

She gets into people’s business no matter who they are or what it’s about but is very loyal and always caring of her friends. Appearance:  Bio: Cassandra was born into a semi-wealthy family with three siblings. Her siblings, however, died in a car accident when Cassy was twelve. It was Cassy’s b-day and her 22-year old sister, 11-year old brother, and 4-year old sister had gone out to get Cassy birthday present since the present was a cat ferret and they couldn’t keep it hidden in the house until her birthday. On the way back from the pet store, a drunk truck driver ran into them and killed everyone in the car including the ferret. Cassy was lost in depression for a good month or two, then just got up and ran out of the house one day. She ran into the woods and was at the point of suicide, planning on jumping off the nearby cliff. That’s when a fox jumped into her path and Cassy came to a stop, collapsing to her knees and crying. The fox stayed close to Cassy’s side and helped her calm down, and soon enough Cassy made friends with the fox. Since then, Vixin and Cassy have been together forever. Since Cassy’s parents were sorry for Cassy as her siblings died on her birthday along with the pet ferret, they accepted the fox into their home. When a girl suddenly came running into the forest, the fox knew something was wrong. The girl, Cassy, wanted to commit suicide. The fox stopped her and comforted her, even without speaking. She felt a connection to the girl and decided to stay with her for good. Cassy was the one who gave the fox the name Vixin. She is not one to complain, but she does tend to speak her mind when she wants to. She is skilled with her agility and can jump from tree to tree in a flash, like ninja flash-stepping. Bio: This kitten had to raise herself. Her mother died when she was born, and her father pushed her away. He was cruel, and often beat her. One day, he went too far and had a dog bite her tail off. Now, it's only a fluffy stump. She hated him, and so ran away before he got a chance to say he was sorry. She had had enough. After that, she lived everywhere. For a time, she was happy. She was free of fighting her father, and free of being restricted. Life was good-until she nearly drowned. She had fallen into the ocean after becoming a stowaway on a cruise ship. When she washed up on shore, she was found by a lone wolf who took her in and helped her back on her feet instead of eating her. She thanked him, and never saw him again after she left. Underneath his “kind surface” is a cold-hearted and cruel man, only wanting to be in control and obeyed. He knows he’s not in the highest position of Kainarasu, but he is still feared by others because of his cruelty and torturous behavior. Appearance:  (deep violet eyes) Bio: Not much is known about the Kainarasu, only that they are from somewhere unknown. That place unknown (and this is for Kainarasu’s only) in an uncharted island in the South Atlantic Ocean (exact coordinates are 15° West[latitude], 30° South[longitude]). This island looks like a normal jungle-like island but in the center is a lab which also goes underground. There is where the crystal was first discovered and used to genetically alter animal DNA to make the improvements. When they tried using it for Human DNA, the experiment failed and the lab exploded, sending the crystal flying into space. It’s a miracle no one in the world noticed and the only people who knew about Kainarasu Island was those of Kainarasu. It took years for the lab to be rebuilt and once it was, the Kainarasu continued experimentation with the DNA, this time using the changes in animals to change humans. It was successful and the humans were seeing improvements in the same skills as the animals: speed, strength, senses, etc. By now, the crystal has fallen from space. Due to its structure and abilities, the crystal didn’t disintegrate while re-entering the earth’s atmosphere and crash-landed into the field, sending the shockwaves of animal DNA change throughout the world. Kainarasu retrieved the crystal and made it back to their island unnoticed. Now they are continuing experiments on the crystal while retrieving the more powerful and skillful of the altered animals in the world for experimentation as well. Otherwise, he is very loyal to Jake and Kainarasu only. He is just a mean snake… Bio: He was originally just a simple snake, but when caught by Kainarasu, he became Jake’s pet and partner, Shikon. The genetic alterations due to the crystal’s power and experimentation made him larger than normal in size and also an odd purple color with black markings, compared to his original coloring of green and black. Skills: Silence, Senses, Speed Partner: Jake Other: Will never turn away from Jake and always does as commanded, even if he argues. Also… he’s very poisonous. He isn't AS big as the picture shows, but is still larger than his original size and is now an excellent boa constrictor too. Can "talk" to Jake only
