Adon Corvinus
Lieutenant of Second Squadron Corvinus was generally one to avoid work, but he preferred to avoid things like executions even more so for once he was using work as an excuse to get out of attending. Glasses settled on his nose as he went through the paperwork involving new assignments to the squadron.
Though able to keenly feel the collides of so many spiritual pressures at the hill itself was distracting his own captain didn't seem to be in any particular danger, her own reaitsu was still strong. With that in mind, he sipped at the sake he'd left nearby and continued to file paperwork. He was more a lover than a fighter and would remain happily out of the events unfolding elsewhere....let's settle this over a drink.

Corp-Commander of the Executive Militia She enters the office with the sun shining through the window. She sees her Lieutenant filling out paper work. "What are you doing here." "Why were you not at the execution." She then takes a seat in her chair waiting for a response from him. she takes a look at her papers that needed filled out on her desks and grabs one and starts to read it. And if the enemy is so strong you can't even do that,
Then just watch your ally be killed.
That's what it means to be Onmitsukidō.

Lieutenant of Second Squadron He offered a genuine smile and a waggle of fingers in greeting to Soi Fon, his easy going attitude always coming to the surface.
"Good afternoon Captain. I was here, doing paperwork. There's always so much of it it seemed as good a day as any to catch up." Adon commented, nodding at the somehow never finished papers. It was as if someone purposely created lots of extra work for the ranked officers.
Which more or less translated to his excuse for missing the previous events at the Sokoyou, but then he'd always been avoiding responsibility. It was a new style for him to avoid one for another, perhaps in an attempt to make it more difficult for anyone to complain at him....let's settle this over a drink.

Corp-Commander of the Executive Militia She look up from the paper and looks at her Lieutenant and says "Thats no excuse not to be there." "You cant not do your duty." She then looks back at the paper puts it on the table and signs it. She decides to get on to another subject "So what have you filled out so far."
And if the enemy is so strong you can't even do that,
Then just watch your ally be killed.

Lieutenant of Second Squadron His smile turned into more of a grin as she moved along, it was as good as getting out of the trouble as far as he was concerned. Then he gestured at one of the piles on the desk. "Those are all ready for your signiture, though I imagine given what I felt at the hill there will be more paperwork arriving shortly. Just what happened anyway?"
He remained cheery and laid back, curious even though he hadn't attended himself....let's settle this over a drink.

Corp-Commander of the Executive Militia "I have to say you work fast." She walks over grabs the stack of paper brings it to her desk. She then starts to preview the first one and signs it then the next and so on. "Not much happened but the vizard stopped the execution and were after to rescue the one being executed. So we engaged them in battle but they got away as far as i know not shore about that detail."She then finished the stack of papers them put them in the finished pile. She then starts the stack already on her desk. "All I have to say is you better be at the next mandatory thing or you will have to answer to me got that."And if the enemy is so strong you can't even do that,

Lieutenant of Second Squadron "Are you asking me out Captain?" He asked with mock surprise. "Well, if that's the case I would of course have to attend. It would be most uncouth of me to refuse such a lovely flower as yourself."
'Not to mention deadly one...' He thought in amused aside. As it was he doubted that Soi Fon was interested in the male persuasion but he tended to throw compliments and flirt lightly with anyone. The fact that his Captain could probably kill him just made it more fun....let's settle this over a drink.
