Short paragraph about your Acha:

Wild is prone to start a feast for the littlest thing. It can just be the arrival of new eggs and already the plans are in motion for a feast. Though not having one of the dogs as a companion, she has been able to coerce a couple into hunting with her. Always eager to be doing something, she tried to be the first to say Yes on going to the swamps. She can jump in the water and splash mud all over, maybe even find a mate or twenty, she wasn't picky about who she could be with.

Acha name: Drums until Dawn
Concept in three words or less: musician, attention whore
Short paragraph about your Acha: Drums has always loved banging on things. She once saw an acha with a hollowed out bit of oasis tree and it had stretched a dried animal skin over one of the ends. It made the most delightful noise, and Drums knew she had do have one. She spent ages trying to find a dying tree, so that she wouldn’t hurt a healthy one, and she traded a song for a nice animal skin from a hunter. After trying so hard, it all paid off! She finally had her drum! She found a herd to join that frequently crossed paths with other herds, and she drummed her heart out for everyone that listened, partly because she loved to drum and partly because she adored the attention. She became pretty popular because of her creative beats, and the dancers especially loved her and her beats. Those that could keep up, that is.

Acha name: Hunts the Skies
Concept in three words or less: boastful, hunter, delusional
Short paragraph about your Acha: Hunts is the best hunter. At least, he thinks he’s the best hunter. Here, look at his collection of fine (though perhaps not as fine as he thinks) furs, doesn’t that prove that he’s the best hunter? He only travels with the best tribe of hunters, because that’s what the best deserves, right? He LOVES hunting, and he LOVES bringing back his prizes for his tribe, and bringing them back makes him a very valuable member of the tribe.

Unfortunately for Hunts, he’s not actually even close to “best.” He’s really only mediocre. But that’s ok, because nobody really cares if he’s not the best, as long as he pulls his weight, which he does manage. He brings back food and skins and that’s enough for everyone, even if his boasting can get pretty, ok, very irritating at times. And everyone knows that it's the boasting he finds most enjoyable, even more than the hunt itself.

Short paragraph about your Acha: Thundering Laughter loves a good laugh. It is unfortunate, however, that laugh always seems to be acquired at another creature's expense. The Acha loves to poke fun, often pushing the limits of what is socially acceptable. If he senses a physical advantage, Thunder is quick to turn to bullying for a quick laugh, enjoying the suffering of weaker creatures. However oddly enough, there is a place in his heart reserved for familiars of any kind. Thundering turns to a walking pile of mush, fawning over them.

Concept in three words or less: Haughty, Show-off, Insecure
Short paragraph about your Acha:

This Acha has plenty of spirit and cunning, and seems to enjoy showing off how good they are at this or that particular thing-- it doesn't matter what it is, or whether or not they actually have much experience in it. And if they fail? Well, they just laugh it off with everyone else and make a joke about it. But the truth is, Brittle Shell needs to be accepted just as much as any other Acha-- maybe even more so. Their better-than-thou attitude is a front for a softer, more vulnerable side. They don't really LIKE it when others laugh [when it's at their expense, at least] but pretend it's okay, because maybe, if they do, they will be more accepted and the other Acha will think Brittle Shell to be even stronger than they really are. But what Brittle Shell may not realize is that there is no need to be so insecure-- after all, for someone to go so far to prove themselves shows a strength of character in and of itself; courage.

Concept in three words or less: Affable, nosy, clever.
Short paragraph about your Acha: Saguaro makes it her business to know everything about everyone-- or it tends to seem that way. She is as engaging and canny as they come, which serves her habit of fishing for personal information just fine. Though this causes some of her fellow Acha to mistrust her, Saguaro is motivated not by a conniving heart, but by honest curiosity, wanting to truly understand the problems, feelings, and lives of others. Those who confide in her will find no better secret-keeper. Her arrival in the swamp is likewise driven by the desire to learn all she can about its inhabitants, strange cousins to the Acha that are so different from herself.

Concept in three words or less: Breathless, generous, exuberant.
Short paragraph about your Acha: In terms of personal energy, Whirl borders on the feverish. Wanting always to be in the thick of things, ze will never miss out on an opportunity to join a group in dance. Hir rollicking and spinning, almost completely devoid of rhythm but more than compensating in vigor, is punctuated by bounding leaps that seem like attempts at taking flight. Whirl always wants others to see what ze sees, taste what ze tastes, feel what ze feels; hir relationships, intimate and platonic alike, are marked by fierce devotion and emotional intensity. Though ze loves the desert, ze is forever desperate for new experiences... now longing to gorge hir lungs on humid air, to feel the mud of the swamps under hir hooves.

Acha name: Kiss the Rain
Concept in three words or less: Intelligent, Resourceful, Shy
Short paragraph about your Acha: Kiss the Rain longs to be able to sing with its fellow acha in song but unfortunately suffers from such severe shyness that they have been mistaken as a mute without the blessing of song. Regardless of Kiss the Rain's attempts to prove otherwise, producing sound seems impossible for the acha while the entire tribe looks on. The pressure, the expectancy, it has been too much and Kiss the Rain has adjusted to being like a desert wallflower to watch on but not stand out. It proved useful and since no one needs to be watching the hunt and speech is not necessary to, Kiss the Rain was able to find itself a place in the tribe until the day it can overcome its fears and join them all in song.
