I've been having some trouble when it comes to playing games on steam. When I play online it plays nice and smooth, but then freezes for a few seconds and then lets me play again. This is insanely annoying because I'm usually a** deep in a Heavy keeping him alive then BOOM we both die cause I stop moving for a few seconds. This doesn't happen to me when I play other games that I didn't buy on steam.
This only happens to games that I purchased on steam, my other games work fine.
P.s. I didn't know where this thread would fit so sorry if I put it in the wrong place. :b

I didn't know where this thread would fit so sorry if I put it in the wrong place. :b Hmm... Can you describe this "Freezing" issue a bit more? Any more details you are able to spare? Such as... is the freezing like a loss of internet connection for a few seconds? Everyone and everything is held in place for a few seconds, maybe with some projectiles left hanging in mid air, along with players in mid air too? Or is it a total... everything is frozen and nothing is moving on my screen whatsoever?

Drivers up to date? Have you tried Defragging?

Sorry, I don't know what to do. usually i can fix this in a flash, but I'd have to be at your house on your computer, and, to be honest, I don't know what the problem is. Sorry I can't be more help, though I'd try deleting and reinstalling the games. other than that, I can't help. sorry.
p.s. that's still a scary term.

Alright, hmm... Okay, if you happen to see a little box appear at the top right corner of your screen when the freezing begins, and you see red text saying you might have lost connection... (goes to 21.3 seconds, then unfreezes)... Then you may have the same problem that I do. Mine happens every so often, and I never found a solution. It started to happen when I got my new laptop. It must be something to do with the hardware or something.
I don't have a solution to this, unfortunately. I just deal with it. You could ask the Steam forums.

I have the same thing, TBH probably an overload of action ******** your connection. Had it hit me last night while I roasted the enemy marshmall- team. >.> Eight flaming players, flame thrower spewing death, pain shouts, medic guns failing to help, bullets. Yea...And thats just what was on screen at the time, not including what happened elsewhere.
