Labels aren't really necessary but some realize that it makes it easier for them to identify themselves to others. Some cant' find a word that encloses al their sexual preferences so they would rather go along unlabeled which to me it perfectly understandable.

I Disagree. Just because your gay, doesn't mean you have to be flamboyant and girly. And just because your Lesbian doesn't mean you have to be all masculane. And just because you Bi doesn't mean you have to be strong, yet girly. Having a label, it's like having a neon sign on your head. It's like here, seterotype away.

14. What solution did you come up with?

Not caring. They can hate me all they want, the moment it becomes physical, they are going down.

4. Do you agree or disagree with labeling people based on their sexuality? Explain.
I STRONGLY disagree with labeling due to sexual orientation/gender identity. First off, noone is exactly the same. Second, putting labels on a person for something they can't control can ruin their lives and future oportunites.

10. What was their response during and after you came out?
My best friend and mother were accepting, but only about half of the people in my school otherwise accepted me. It was a stronge contrast, one girl gave me a high five for coming out, another wouldn't stand next to me in the lunch line.

4. Do you agree or disagree with labeling people based on their sexuality? Explain.

If labeling means "judging" then I disagree. No tags such as dyke or butch should come along because a girl is lesbian.
On another note, I don't believe people should, in a sense, "be" their sexuality. No one should be "the gay" or "the bisexual", whether in a negative sense or not. I guess in a clearer way of stating, you shouldn't live your life focusing on your sexuality, if that makes any sense.

4. Do you agree or disagree with labeling people based on their sexuality? Explain.

I think it might be important, but also hurtful.
It's complicated. People say that their sexuality has as much to do with them as their hair color, or eye color. I think that's just nonsense, you can dye your hair, and wear colored contacts, but that doesn't change that fact that you're blonde, or have brown eyes.
I think that it's important, at least in this point in time, to have labels like that, to show that WE DO EXIST and we deserve rights.

But I think love should be free, be attracted to whomever you want, it's not that big a deal.

Labels are un-avoidable. All aspects of who someone is contributes to their "label" Its like judging people by their first impression.
I dont think it matters on what you label someone as, but how you label them, if its meant to be hurtful.
Labling someone as say "flamboyant" isnt offensive, its simply commenting on their personality.
Labeling someone as "f**" is offensive. And its just meant to hurt.
