They're the first pair I've ever owned that are taller than 1". I think they're about 3", and I'm kind of nervous about walking in them. I was fine in the store and in my room, but I've never tried anything more than that.
But I'm wearing them to dinner tonight because they're ADORABLE. Pics later, maybe.
Here's hoping I don't fall!

Good luck! I'm sure you'll be fine.
I still haven't really mastered heels. I can do wedges and high heeled boots, but not stilettos (well I haven't really tried but I think I'd fail).

Thanks! Wearing them actually went pretty well. I didn't fall, though going down stairs was an adventure. They kind of hurt the balls of my feet, but since I wasn't walking very much, I was fine.
But yeah they were kind of tricky to walk in at first, though it was mainly because my feet kept slipping out- if they had straps, that wouldn't have been as much of a problem.

I'm convinced that my walking in heels is an impossibility of nature.

I thought that too. I mean, I've sprained my ankle before because I lost my balance wearing flip-flops on pavement. neutral But as long as I don't try to walk fast, I don't have a problem with heels.
