Lady Gaga will be shooting a music video in New York City next week, not alot of information is know yet about what the video will serve as either a side project for something or maybe even the "Born The Way" video, all that is known is that reps of Gaga's were at Alannah Starr's transsexual party earlier today choosing girls to be in the video, the video will contain transsexuals and work on the video will start next week in NYC,

According to P.Hilton, shooting starts next week (beginning January 25), although further details of the video haven't been released yet.

don't artists make music videos when they have really popular/liked singles?
because lady gaga only came out with music videos for her singles.
also michael jackson only made music videos for his singles also.

born this way didn't come out yet so it can't be a music video for it.
...remember the end of telephone? it said "to be continued". eek

because lady gaga only came out with music videos for her singles.
also michael jackson only made music videos for his singles also.

born this way didn't come out yet so it can't be a music video for it.

if btw was going to have a music video, i dont think it would be a continuation of telephone....

i feel like the paparazzi/telephone series are more for her "fun" music.... while bad romance/BTW are going to be a bit more "special"

im pretty sure BTW is/willbe a really popular/liked single

yeah but you have to release a single before you make the music video.

she can't just make the music video for born this way before releasing a single of it.
because, god forbid, that born this way ends up being really unpopular with the audience.
not saying it's going to suck though. i'm sure it's going to be amazing.

@saypls: maybe she's filming it now, because there is always editing, and that could take awhile, so by the time the video is edited and done, the single for Born This Way will probably be out already. But that's just a guess. xD

Anddd yes, artist tend to choose their most popular songs to be made into a video, because then people will buy that video (iTunes or what not) and they'll get moolah. C:

Singles are always picked out, no matter what their popularity level is. Dance in the Dark was ment to be the third single for Monster ( and that means it would've been the third music video) but Gaga chose Alejandro instead. I don't really think it has anything to do with popularity when it comes to Gaga. Her producers know they can't control her. If it was a popularity contest You and I or Living on the Radio would be chosen for the first single.

If you ask me, an artist has all their singles prepicked out beforehand, or has at least the first one, by the time their album comes out.

LoveGame already have had a remix by Space Cowboy, and it was first released on the Japanese version of The Fame. So I think it was picked out for a single beforehand, or SC was given the acapella.
