XXX XXX Run. Run faster. Run hard. Run Run Run. Faster Faster Faster. Bronwyn let her eyes flash open. Sh ehad been picturing the chase of the hunt that she had not been a part of. And now, everyone was supposed to be meeting at the den site? She was rather confused, but had no arguments on the matter. if her alpha beckoned, she would come. That was what it meant to be in a pack. if you were not in charge, you came when called. If you were in charge, generally, you got to do the calling. Standing from her curled up place in the sand, she shook out her fur. The sand she's been laying on, mercifully, was dry, so it was the matter of shaking the grains from her coat. If they had been wet, they would have stuck, and it would have been much harder for her to have shaken the grim from her coat. She was brown enough, she did not need the dusty coating of sand on her as well. Thank you very much. When she stood upon all four paws, she stretched her front paws out, and kept her back legs up, much like felines often did. She was no feline however. No. Bronwyn was a wolf, and quite proud to be.
Once she had stretched, and shaken herself out, there was no more hesitating or procrastinating. She would have to move now. Towards the den site. Towards Faux, her Alpha, and all other wolves that lived on the Sea territory and within the pack. With a quick ace, the padding of her paws led Bronwyn towards the den. She heard the howl from Faux and shuddered at the thought of what it would mean. Maybe the hunt didn't go well. That would mean that mouths would go hungry. Perhaps everyone would. Which was unfortunate and near disaster. They had pups to feed. Wolves to keep strong. They needed and attack force and good runners to prevent attack. Even if they had some sort of awkward truce or peace, that did not mean things could not fall to shambles in seconds based off one bad howl or kill. That was probably what disturbed the brown female so much. They needed to be strong to protect the younger generation. Or, that was her own observation and thoughts. She would go hungry to make sure Caydenc and Kye were fed and ate well. So was her mannerisms. So had they been for quite some time, even before they pups had been brought into the pack. It had been that way since childhood and she wasn't ashamed.
Drawing closer, wolves came into her line of site. Nita was present, muttering an apology, along with LaeLu. Bronwyn kept her head high. She would not apologize for something she had not done. Or maybe, that's what Nita and LaeLu were apologizing for. They hadn't done something that was necessary. Kazuo was there as well as Vixen, standing close to Faux as Laelu and Nita. Bronwyn wondered if this meeting was about the hunt. there didn't look to be meat, and from the muttered apologies that were now making sense in her ears, the hunt had failed. Hungry mouths would be there tonight. Bronwyn inched closer, passing Yazhi and Kenai who appeared to be standing together off to the side. They were mates after all. probably talking to each other about things that mates did. Bronwyn gave a nod in acknowledgement, in case they were watching, She was friendly to everyone, she simply wouldn't simper about and show her belly for something that wasn't her fault. If it was commanded, then she really wouldn't have a choice, but Faux had not commanded dominance of her in this gathering yet.
As she drew closer to the pack of wolves, she tried to pinpoint who was missing., Neither Kye nor Caydence was about. Bronwyn twitched her nose at that. There was nothing she could do about their absence, she just hoped someone was with them. Lessea didn't appear to be present either, so maybe she was with the pups. Bronwyn hoped that much was true. She didn't ant the pups to be running about on their own. She would worry herself sick, perhaps before others did. She sat down, close enough to everyone that she could hear and kept her eye's away from Faux's face. That was her submission. if he demanded more, she supposed she would give it, but she did not need to show her belly yet. Faux should have known where her loyalties lay, and that should have been enough. She had not made an error and need to grovel or make an apology. She would duck her head lower before she would reveal her belly. It was that stubborn need to be herself and claim herself that would ward off man, even though she was quite friendly enough. That might have been her problem. She simply waited for some sort of explanation on why they had been called. She figured she knew the reasoning. it was why they were here, and there was no food, but she would wait until it was made clear to her.
