In this challenge, you will have to follow certain requirements for you to complete and receive your vice-captain position. The challenge is difficult and requires tremendous patience, not to mention, consistency. It will prove your role-playing stability, coherency and power. Remember, if you wish to back out in this challenge, inform Kei at once. And in case you are to become absent for a long period of time, you must inform Kei for the challenge to be postponed for your convenience. However, much to your privilege to remain lax at the challenge, there will be limitations that must be observed. You must understand that this is for the best of your RP future and, of course, guild. Certain precautions are to be observed. Since the guild is known to make vice-captains of Crew position much to the similarity of privilege of the captains, I have to ensure that the ones I am promoting is of the highest caliber. Now, let us continue to the requirements you must complete. You must: You are required to post role-playing posts around the thirteen divisions of the Gotei 13. This is to show your role-playing stability and reliability to the rest of the divisions. If you are unable to attend to the thirteen divisions, then, your application for the vice-captain position will be marked canceled. Your role-playing topic will be "Sereitei Cleaning and Maintenance". This will be done in all known divisions of Sereitei. Your posts will done in any place you prefer; however, be sure to follow the certain division's rules and regulations. Be warned, some authority figures will not permit outsiders as much as their own members; you must abide by their protocols and rules. The Fourth Division will hold no power against the division you are role-playing in incase you are to violate their rules and regulations. Also, you are to make a total of two (2) medium-sized posts regarding the said topic. Medium-sized posts consists of at least two (2) paragraphs, proper grammar usage, proper punctuations, proper word spellings and usage, and well-formed posting quality. As for the Fourth Division, you will be required to post with the topic, "Helping with the Greenhouses" that will be held in the Verdant Gardens and Greenhouses thread in the said division. Unlike the other tasks, you are to make only one (1) post but with proper introduction and closure; be warned, I will be watching this particular post thoroughly. Every post will be required to have this somewhere in your posts: Proper Label Tomoya Vice-Captain Challenge Fourth Division Post [1/2] From this same thread, which will be located here and here only, your works and posts will be marked and followed. From here on, your posted works will be graded as according to their content quality. The posts will be graded from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest and 1 the lowest. Links will be provided for your posts for further inspection. After you have posted on all divisions, you are to return here and inspect your progress. And from here on also, your works will be receiving final evaluation. Your scores from all your posts will be merged and then their average will be acquired. You will only pass the challenge if you received a grade of 7 and higher. Unable to reach the passing grade will result to failure of the test, thus, you will be illegitimate for the position. There is no time limit for the challenge; however, additional points will be given if in-between posts do not exceed a total of three (3) days. And on a final note, posts will be made from the First Division to the Thirteenth Division, in order of their numbering. God bless you, Tomoya. 3nodding

Tomoya's Challenge Progress First Division Results First DivisionPost #1 (Tomoya's Bear and Fan-Girls) Grade: 8 Comments: This post is very interesting and all; this post should have suffered more if not for the humor added. You need to watch out for your sentences, Tomoya. You have a problem differentiating "then" and "than" and you have a serious issue on run-ons. Watch out for these topics. Review them to get more details and improve your sentence constructions. Proper nouns should capitalized on all times; although, common nouns are to be capitalized only at the beginning of sentences, or after periods.
Post #2 (Messing the Division One's Koi Pond) Grade: 7 Comment: I have always seen you typing the word "shikia". It's "Shikai", Tomoya. As ever, your humor amuses me. Poor Tomoya. Anyways, this post is graded quite low because you seem to miss your topic, Tomoya. Watch out. Second Division Results Second DivisionPost #1 (Windows of the Soul) Grade: 5 Comments: I guess humor is now an overdone statement, Tomoya. This means, starting from now on, your scores will be greatly affected now. I appreciate all the creativity welling up deep inside you; although, you must consider the fact that this challenge has a known topic. Also, your sentences improved in structure. But you have many more problems. Many more. One of these problems include the usage of commas; use them in complex sentences after the dependent clause and before the independent clause. It is essential. It avoids the problems of sentence confusion by adding up too much information. Don't be afraid to add the proper punctuation marks. Commas are not just for a series of items said in a composition.
Post #2 (Asking Directions) Grade: 4 Comment: Forgive me for my lack of control, however, you seem to lack the proper practice to properly use spaces in quotation marks and those enclosing them. Always remember that spaces are done like this. "Message goes here." And not like this."Message goes here."Where there are no proper spaces in between. Yes, Tomoya, it is that intense. It is quite irritating to read compositions with dialogues with that strange edit. For most experienced RPers in this guild, they might find it annoying. Watch out for that, Tomoya. Improve them. Also, review in advance about overloaded sentences. Third Division Results Third DivisionPost #1 (Resting and Kei's Letter) Grade: 5 (+1 due to immediate post) Comments: The ideas are getting better, Tomoya! And the creativity truly amazes me up to now. However, you must understand the theory of commas! I have been telling you about this but you seem to miss this. Pay attention or this may cause your downfall, Tomoya. Be careful.
Post #2 (Dusts and Mops) Grade: 6 (+1 due to immediate post) Comment: Still, you didn't use the proper usage of punctuation marks. After dependent clauses, you are advised to up some punctuation marks before you make the independent clauses! For example: "As she was walking back to their squad (dependent clause because it cannot stand alone), Karin noticed the poor little boy whom she thought was a girl at first." (independent clause because it can stand alone) See? Did you see the comma? Always remember that. The score improved due to the proper usage of the rules about the topic. Fourth Division Results Fourth DivisionPost #1 (Venturing the Verdant Gardens and Greenhouses) Grade: 7 Comments: You are learning to take control of your paragraphs and descriptions are now becoming more and more better. Also remember, Tomoya, that you have to improve your basic sentence patterns skills. Your punctuations like the usage of periods are okay but your commas are just horribly misplaced. You should examine thoroughly where you should place your punctuations and you will be fine. Spelling errors are rampant but now is better than before. Still, you have to examine your spacing mistakes, too. Watch out, Tomoya. Fifth Division Results Fifth DivisionPost #1 (Carts, Mops and Keys) Grade: 6 Comments: The sentences are now becoming more and more stable, Tomoya, which is good. Keep it up and learn to master your proper comma usage and you'll be fine. Read more about dependent and independent clauses and improve the RP as much as you can. Do not forget about the quality of the work. An RP without proper quality is like a beautiful maiden without a knowledgeable brain.
Post #2 (The Pride of the Fourth Division) Grade: 7 Comments: I have nothing much to comment on the composition. You're getting better, Tomoya. Keep it up and the grades will increase as you continue on; be sure to impress me in any way you can. Good work. Sixth Division Results Sixth DivisionPost #1 (A Break from Cleaning) Grade: 7 Comments: Comma usage once again, Tomoya. It may be extremely redundant for me to remind you but it is essential. Aside from that, there is not much of a problem from me. Good job, Tomoya.
Post #2 (Tears in Valentines) Grade: 7 Comments: This is a well-composed RP as I see it. Your grammar is getting better. The way you cut off the sentences is becoming better, too. You just have to work a little bit more in the spacing of words from quotation marks, like those in speeches of characters. Job well done. Strive for the best, Tomoya. Seventh Division Results Seventh DivisionPost #1 (Assisting the Broken) Grade: 6 Comments: *points to the last four comments*
Post #2 (Drunkards and Tomoya) Grade: 7 Comments: I think you might have confused, Tomoya. You spelled "threw" into "through"; it's the part when the drunkard '"threw" the alcohol at the boy. Eighth Division Results Eighth DivisionPost #1 (Tomoya and the Shocked Staff) Grade: 6 Comments: It is most advisable that when you shift from one particular topic, Tomoya, you divide the composition into another paragraph. For example, in one part you described what Tomoya saw and then you make another paragraph when you describe what Tomoya felt during that particular scene. Don't be too afraid of line breaks. It is less confusing.
Post #2 (Red) Grade: 7 (+1 due to immediate post) Comments: Not much can be said at this part. It was well done except of course the several parts missing punctuation marks. Ninth Division Results Ninth DivisionPost #1 (People and Bravery) Grade: 6 Comments: Okay! So, the only problem that I saw regarding your post, Tomoya, is that you are suffering a slight problem with subject-verb agreement. That means when you post a plural subject, then your verb should be in plural form, too. However, this is no big deal anyways. Also, I'm warning you to stay on topic.
Post #2 (The Rage of a Timid Boy) Grade: 7 (+1 due to immediate post) Comments: I'll discuss some little things regarding paragraphs, Tomoya. When you sort out ideas that make up a paragraph it is most advisable that you cut them on the right places and punctuating the right areas so that the ideas don't jumble all together; it makes a composition very confusing and not to mention very, very tiring to read. Next, it also good that you should post ideas in a chronological kind of manner for example moving from state to the next. While you suffer no big issues regarding the "chronological manner" of your ideas, you need to watch out, too, 'kay? Tenth Division Results Tenth Division Post #1 (The Water and Ice Elemental) Grade: 7 Comments: Actually, I liked this composition. It was short, straight-to-the-point and simple. It was not tiring to read and you played with Tomoya's thoughts very well. Maintaining a composition without any dialogue is very, very difficult and kudos to you for making it work. There were, of course, a few spelling errors but it could be worked out through proofreading.
Post #2 (Intervention) Grade: 6 Comments: I have not much to discuss with this composition except that you should watch out for the simple "and" and several "then". Too much usage of these things could make an awkward composition, Tomoya. But job well done! Eleventh Division Results Eleventh DivisionPost #1 (The Flowers of Karin) Grade: 8 Comments: Very nice composition; there's nothing more I would say for this post.
Post #2 (The Girl Behind the Shadows) Grade: 9 (+1 due to immediate post) Comments: So... Once again, I see that you have exhibited a few "kilometric" sentences, which are sentences that are unusually long when they can be reduced to several sentences. Don't be afraid to put periods, Tomoya. It also rests the reader's eyes and mind with each period. Twelfth Division Results Twelfth DivisionPost #1 (The Spook of the Twelfth Division, Zebediah) Grade: 6 Comments: Absolutely, no, no, no to redundancy! Don't worry, I'm not mad. Frankly, I suffer a lot of redundancy, too, but I try to cope with it by changing details, names and words in a single paragraph. It is annoying to find a redundant composition, which is comprised of ideas that sounds and looks the same. This may cause your work to sound "comical", which is somewhat bad, and look a little bit... annoying. Watch out. And oh, cause and 'cause (shortened "because") are different things, okay?
Post #2 (Dust Bunnies and Golems) Grade: 7 Comments: Actually, this is quite good. Your description of the place is getting better as time passes by. Your words may repeat for several times but it's quite okay; nothing major. Watch out for too many words cramping in one sentence and it may look overflowing and overwhelming; avoid it. Thirteenth Division Results Thirteenth DivisionPost #1 (The Forest Fire) Grade: 7 Comments: This is okay and nice. There's not much I could say, except the ever-problem, typographical erratum.
Post #2 (Flame, Rage and Strength) Grade: 7 (+1 due to immediate post) Comments: You often confuse lots and lots of words, Tomoya, but I think you're fine. At least, to me, you still make sense. The final post was okay but not exceptional; you have had lots of better posts.
