If I ever have a daughter, when she has her first period I'll tell her, "Honey, I know this ******** sucks right now, and you're going to think I'm crazy for saying this now, but you will be SO HAPPY when you have your period when you're older."

When you're scared shitless and you discover your period on that first day, you can almost weep with relief.
This is another reason I want an IUD. BC pills are making my periods too light for comfort. my mother spotted the first few months when she was preggo with me, AND was on BC. I don't like it and it feels so unnatural to me to not have one, like I'm ******** with my body too much or something.
Only 7 more days until my first consult.

Yeah, on one hand, I'm hoping when I go in for birth control next week and start taking it, my periods will just go away, but on the other hand, I'm totally with you on feeling unnatural and worrying. I have really irregular periods (literally like once or twice a year) and have felt unnatural all of my life. idk. D:

AGREED. i started freaking out because i was like a day late. (i'm on bc it's usually regular to the hour) BUT IT'S ALL GOOD.
