The Leaky Cauldron The Leaky Cauldron is a pub and inn for wizards, located on the Muggle street of Charing Cross Road in London, offering food, drinks and rooms to rent. It was founded by Daisy Dodderidge (1467–1555) in 1500 "to serve as a gateway between the non-wizarding world and Diagon Alley." The current barman and innkeeper is a wizard named Tom. On the main floor, the inn has a bar, several private parlour rooms, and a large dining room for guests to dine. On the upper floors, there are a number of rooms available; Harry has stayed in Room 11,[PA Ch.4] which has a talking mirror and windows that allow him to look out onto Charing Cross Road. People often stay at The Leaky Cauldron when they come up to London on shopping trips, since there is no mention of other wizarding hotels or inns in Diagon Alley. The pub serves as a way of entering onto Diagon Alley from the Muggle world for Muggle-borns and their parents (both of whom, until the first letter from Hogwarts, have no magical knowledge or means of entering). The rear of The Leaky Cauldron opens onto a chilly little courtyard where a brick (found by counting three up and two across) is tapped three times. Rowling has revealed that Hannah Abbott becomes the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron, and lives above the pub with her husband Neville Longbottom, when he is not teaching Herbology at Hogwarts.[25]

Riley entered the leaky cauldron after apparating nearby. He claimed a table and awaited the arrival of Mary. He was clueless how to start. This was basically set up by their sisters in the first place. He leaned back in his chair and sipped a water while he waited.

Rose's sister, Marrietta stepped through the doorway and searched the premises for Riley, trying to look as attractive as she could. But all she saw the first time were a band of creepy looking guys,one if which touched her arm as she passed by. She shivered and finally found him.She would know him anywhere really. She walked over to the table and sat down."Uh. . ello. You look,uh brilliant."She studded slightly.

Riley looked up from his water as her heard a voice addressing him. He definitely recognized her from school. There was no doubt. She was as beautiful as he remembered. He wondered why he had never gotten the courage to ask her out and instead took on girls that he had no interest in. He put on a true dazzling smile and said, "Thank you, and I might dare to say you look dazzling Mary. Would you care for something to drink?" He asked ready to call over an employee to bring her whatever she wished.

Mary felt her face tint with a pink color."Uh thank you.Oh. . I am not much of a drinker. . um perhaps just a butterbeer if it isnt to much to ask."She smiled."Yet again. . .I am totally sorry about all of this.Wow I cant believe the odds. . I though Rose's friend's brother was a completely different person.Not that you are wierd you are pretty amazing I mean I. . ."She mummbled on and eventually stopping herself before she spilled her secret.

Riley smiled and talked to the waiter and a butterbeer appeared for Mary moments later. "A crazy turn of events huh? Thought I was just going to do her friend a favor and here I find a completely different story." He left it up to Mary to decipher the meaning of that. He set down his glass again and sat up. He wasn't sure what to say now. He was supposed to be here for a favor, but he kind of wanted it to be more than just hat.

Marrietta took a tate of her butterbeer and qlmost sip it out at what he said."A whole different story,huh?"She wondered. "Well. . .I just really hope you dont remember me from my 5th year. . .well your 6th year at Hogwarts. . .when obnoxious Professor Umbridge forced me to rat out the DA and had SNEAK written across her forehead in pimples.. .because that is how everyone remembers me.I wasnt the most attractive shy ravenclaw girl."She shrugged with a sigh-laugh combo.

Riley thought for a moment before the memory came back to him. He nodded, "Well now that you mention it I do, but I don't hold things against people. That isn't the year I really remember." He fingers around his cup which is nearly empty. "It may seem like I didn't notice other people with my constant "player" style, but the girlfriends never really interested me too much." He shrugged and looked at the table.

Riley's eyes widened and he looked into her eyes. He said, "Well the truth is I only did it to keep up the all important image. I've always had my eyes on somebody else." He couldn't help but go on. "And even though I wasn't supposed to hear that, I'm glad I did, because you were the girl I had my eyes on." He smiled trying to make her feel comfortable and read her reaction.

Mary blushed deeply and felt amazing at the same time. "R-r-r-really?You are amazing. . .oh and well I would have asked you out but I am a total wimp plus whenever I tried you were with some other girl. . .and well yeah. . .I cant believe this."She was sooo happy and confused and embrassed.
Ok if I log off it is cause my brother is on and I should be back in a few.Stupid ipad.

Riley scratched his neck. It was an old habit of his. "Well I guess it wasn't too smart of me. Dating other girls and not giving the one I really liked a chance." He continued, "So Marrietta Edgecombe would you do me the honor of going on a date with me?" He didn't really consider this a date since it was basically set up by their sisters and he hadn't asked her exactly.
((Thats alright. I should really get some sleep though, so if I log we can always continue tomorrow))

Marrietta felt her face flush."You really liked me?"She said with a cheerful dazed expression.She heard his question and felt like she was going to explode with happiness.She was so amazed she could barely control herself."Well,does this answer your question?"She leaned put her hands around his neck and kissed him.Holy s**t. . .she was kissing Riley O'Sullivan. . .was this a dream?Was she seriously kissing the guy she had liked since her 3rd year.If it was she never wanted to wake up.The kiss was amazing. . she seriously wanted to kiss him forever,but started to consider the problems.Like maybe Riley might nit like her anymore,maybe he said that out of pity.Ohmygod. . .maybe this whole thing was out of pity!?!? When sudenly she pulled away,arms still around his neck as she was too frozen with sudden fear and embrassement to remove her arms."God. . .I am so sorry,Riley.I probably shouldnt have done that. . .I'm sorry." She said a nervous wreck.
