Gosling- messenger or errand boy, usually poor

Example:
Do we have to worry about him?
Nah, he's just a gosling.

I love it. I'll put it in the terms.

Breezy- untrustworthy, lacking respect, slacks off, a bum (noun-breezer)

Example:
Adjective: Look at him, he's a total mess. How breezy can you get?
Noun: You can't do business with a breezer. Hell, you can't do anything with a breezer.

I haven't come up with any new words in a while. I should change that.

Dokolite: fanatic follower, usually following a tyrant or leader of some sort
Origin: First used referring to the followers of Doko during his rise to power.

Example:
"Doesn't he have a mind of his own?"
"Of course not. Dokolites never do."

So here are my original ideas for Eli Vinuath's Dengen abilities to start out with.

Earth Shield: The caster uses dengen to pull up earth and stone in front of him to form a barrier in front of him. The shield floats in front of the user as long as he holds his arms in a guard position and is dissipated if the user makes an attack of any kind. This technique only works if there is dust or stone below the user's feet to pull up. (Dust)

Wind Cutter: The caster channels dengen through his hands as he makes an open hand chopping motion and creates a thin blade of air that essentially gives the user's bare hand the ability to cut and slice. The blade can also be thrown over a short range but the damage is slightly reduced since the user's strength is not right behind it. The strike of the blade is no more powerful than that of a regular steel blade and still relies on the strength of the user to do damage. (Dust)

Fist of Frost: The caster uses dengen to pull the water in the air to him and form around his hand in the form of an icy fist. This takes several seconds to gather enough water unless the user has a source of solid water in which case it is a very quick event. This gauntlet of ice breaks as soon as it hits something, but that one hit is much stronger than the user may normally be capable of. (Dust)

Deflect: The user gathers a dense cushion of air in his hand and is able to make it burst with a fair amount of force. While not enough power to cause injury to someone, it is enough to throw a ranged weapon off course. This allows the user to deflect range projectiles as long as he can hit them with his hands. (Dust)

Lightning Fist: The caster creates lightning using dengen and wraps it around his hands. This can only be used for striking a target and has no defensive capabilities. (Surge)

Wind Cutter: The caster channels dengen through his hands as he makes an open hand chopping motion and creates a thin blade of air that can either be used to make the hand like a blade or shoot out at a target like a spike for a short range. (Dust)

Fist of Frost: The caster uses dengen to pull the water in the air to him and form around his hand in the form of an icy fist. This takes several seconds to gather enough water unless the user has a source of solid water in which case it is a very quick event. Earth Shield: Good job, I'll get this one on the list, unless you want to reserve the technique for your character alone in the Dengen reserves thread

Wind Cutter: I wouldn't give it more cut than an average blade considering it's overall density but this is a good simple technique for your character. I would like a bit more details on it before I enter it into the list however (just to make sure that if anyone else wants to use the technique they dont abuse it)

Fist of Frost: Also good, so far your on a roll

Deflect: This is also a good technique, although if I may suggest something, due to the fact that you already have Earth shield, wouldn't this technique be less effective any way? If you want you could fill that area with a different technique since you already have a defensive ability.

Lightning fist: Another technique thats good to go, congrats you got all of these approved blaugh

First of all, I was pretty sure you'd be a good addition when I saw your profile. And I was right. (as usual xd ) Secondly, I love the new dengen. I suggest to deflect, though, that once the skill is mastered, the cushion can be expanded to envelop entire person or persons.

For his character, it would be useless. But if we're adding it to the dengen skills, then someone else could use it.

It's just nice to have a variety of techniques to use. The main reason I made deflect is because if I'm not standing on dirt or stone then the earth shield won't work. If I'm standing inside on a wood floor then I can't use it. :/

I'll write some more details into the post I originally made them in so recheck them for the update. Thanks for all the compliments biggrin

You make a good point for the technique. It was a suggestion, and nothing more. I'm glad you thought about that to cover your RPC's weak spots, and the pro's and con's of both shields work in perfect harmony to make things interesting...bravo pretty much sums that one up.

Oh and it's totally fine if you post these in the Dengen thread. I'm willing to share. we'll see who is willing to make a hand to hand based character to use them :p

Fire Wall- A offensive and defensive attack, it gives a tactical advantage to the Dust Techniques that like the flaming side of things.

You have been approved good sir, a technique that can be devastating with it's simplicity and useful variety. Just make sure that the wall is not too enormous okay.
