Do you ever stop and think about what you're doing at the moment and hold that against the grand scheme of things? Why am I here? Is there a point to me? What if there IS a point to living. Like...you know that old cliche, "what was I put here to do?" What if I've already done it. Do you ever feel like that. That maybe you've done all the important bits you can do with your life and now you're just waiting in the lobby till the doctor calls your name? I can't be the only one who feels like this. It can't be possible.

Oh my, what has brought you to this deeply introspective place?
This time of year definitely triggers the "deep" and sensitive among us to think a whole bunch of complex things. Memories, and RL not agreeing with the hype of the season of "love and peace on earth" etc.
Certainly I've thought these thoughts.
I try to remember that the only thing that is real is the present moment. The past is just a memory in your mind (like a dream) and the future is just an idea in your mind (again like a dream). Most of us (including me) squander our lives by focusing on the past or future instead of enjoying what is right in front of us.

No. I'm normally in this frame of mine but it goes in and out like the tide. Some days I'm thinking it way to much, some days barely at all and some days I'm just outright living it.

It's just one of those things where I more or less feel like a background character in other people's stories. Nothing horribly wrong with that. Those are still vital to making a story believable. But still. It wears on you a bit.

What's the point of having life if not to enjoy it? rofl

I can feel like that sometimes too. Every now and again I start to ask myself those questions too and look back on a lot of the drama llama stuff that's happened and if i've ever wanted to change some of it. Some I do, some I don't. I try not to over think it bc then I tend to freak myself out at times and I don't need it. So I just focus on today and the next day, and even the next. I try not to think too much of yesterday unless it was a really kick a** day at the time. sweatdrop

My problem is I can never NOT think about it. It's always there. Just hovering. It's like when your parents told you to ignore a bully and you were like, "you HAVE to know that can't work." That's how I feel when peopel tell me not to think about it.

Oh I'm not saying not to think about it. I know its impossible to do that. I just try to spread my thoughts to other things to distract me. And its sadly not that hard to do with- OH! Look shiny!
