The Colts problems are many, but I will focus on three.

1. INJURIES- Yes every team has them, some more than others, and many would say injuries have plagued the Colts more than any other team. They are running thin on key play makers and starting talent.

2. No Run Defense- The Colts have a fast defense, but an undersized one, they get beat off the line really easily and teams can run the ball and control the game clock with ease, and the longer the defense is out on the field, the more tired they get and the more points opponents rack up.

3. No Run Offense- Joseph Addai isn't a great running back, but he is a back who can run the ball effectively enough to add dimensions to the Colts offensive unit. Without Addai the Colts haven't been able to run the ball, at all, meaning defenses will always play in a Nickel or other pass protection formations, because they know the only thing the Colts can do is pass.

Manning is going through one of his worst stretches of his career. But it's not all his fault. He has 11 INT in the last 3 games, but the only reason the Colts were as competitive and nearly beat the Cowboys yesterday was because of Manning's leadership. Many of those INT were tipped and deflected balls which unfortunately fell into the hands of Dallas defenders, including the last one in OT. The offensive line isn't giving him enough protection in the pocket and Manning is consistently getting hit or sacked when he releases the football. Manning isn't playing is best football right now, but he's still doing a great job out there playing with what he's got.

So bottom line, the Colts need to get healthy, play better off the line, and establish a decent run game if they want to win games again.

Peyton just turned into the worst QB ever without his game.
