Not exactly a word game, but in this game, you sit still and listen to every little noise, then type out what you hear.
In my case:
A freight train in the near distance, a cat crunching dry cat food, the hum of my computer, some undefined thing thrumming in the distance.

Computer hum, the occasional sound of an IM, the sound of my typing, and a few random doors slamming in the apartment across the hall.

The sounds of my fingers striking the keyboard, and the music of Antonica in Everquest II in the background. The hum of my computer blends in with the sounds, and my dog sneezes and her collar jingles.
I hear the dishwasher running...and my brother cleaning the kitchen, too.
And the bleep of a message in EQ also occurs every so often...

I hear the constant murmur of my co-workers as they answer customer calls, and the bleeping of the phone system. Sometimes you can make out a few words, but mostly, it's background noise.
All around there are the tap-tap-tappings of typewriting, and the creaking swooshing of cabinet doors. The sound of waving paper punctuates the air. A cell phone blurp-blurp-bluuuuurps next to me. I hear a lecture meant for a co-worker's husband...it makes me cringe.
There's a continual serenade of uh-ohs, thank yous and hellos around me. Once in a while, the fax machine wakes up and sends a throaty buzzing sound that probably indicates it needs fixing out to us, in a very friendly mechanical way.
Occasionally, there are coughs, people clearing their throats, and the squeak of old chairs as employees shift their weight in them. Doors open, and the sound of metal on wood is heard when the fixtures crunch into place as a door shuts again.

I hear my cat meowing at my side, possibly wishing for petting, and my youngest daughter's TV going across the hall, while she chats on the phone with a friend. "Stop talking so fast and quiet!" she commands. "I only heard about half of what you said." A floorboard creaks for no apparent reason, and the furnace just kicked on, which sounds a bit like a jet plane taking off as the fan winds up. The cat continues to meow at me, which undoubtedly means the food dish is empty. My daughter says to the phone, "It's only 9:30, though."

The various noises from my computer, the noise of Love Actually dubbed in Spanish on my tv, and the ringing in my ears from being sick. Yuck.

It's late, so very quiet. The computer humming, my older daughter upstairs on the loft computer, her chair squeaking from time to time. Not much else.

I hear:
- the very loud tv in the room next to mine
- my carrots crunching as I eat them
- the typing and random noises of my computer
- random noises from drunk people outside
The tv drowns out most of it though, and even though it is loud, I can't tell what they're watching. It sounds like some kind of British movie (Monty Python, perhaps?).

My mum mixing in the blender and lecturing me, the typing of the computer keys, and my crunching of salad.
I also hear my dad working downstairs with my brother.
