Before the boat had a chance to clear the icy seas of the snowy north, the boat was attacked. They blended into the ice and glaciers, the three rogues were to the right, left, and behind the boat. From these positions, they threw multiple kunai at the boat, all with powerful exploding tags attached. They detonated within seconds, wood splintering and catching on fire from the blast. The boat would take on water fast at this point, threatening to sink beneath the icy water and taking all who stayed on board with it.

Shikatsu was feeling a bit uneasy about this but knew what he had to do. He was hoping he would get this task done with little trouble, but that seemed out of the question no. He turned around to the sound of kunai's zipping through the air. He spotted the tags on them and decided to take advantage of this. As the ship exploded he jumped of and sunk beneath the water, waiting for the attackers to reveal themselves.

With the boat in ruins and pieces of wood floating about three rogue ninja appeared landing on top of floating debris or ice."He dead?" Asked one they both looked their comrade who seemed to be focusing. He shook his head and pointed to the water below. He must be some kind of sensor to be able to detect him below the water. The other shinobi who did not speak nodded and place his hand against the water. Sharks then emerged from his finger tips one for each finger. They then rushed down into the water toward Shikatsu.

Shikatsu wasn't expecting them to find him so quickly. He swam up and jumped out of the water, throwing shuriken at the enemy to try and keep some distance between them. He landed on some of the debris and studied the three in front of him.

The three shinobi jumped out of the way of the shuriken. The landed on the water a few yards back. The one who spoke the first time looked at the sensor."How strong is he?" He asked the one focusing in on Shikatsu."High-Chunnin, possibly Low Jounin."he responded the one who had used the water shark attack stepped forward."I'll be able to handle this punk then you two just sit back and watch." The other two decided to let him have his fun."Don't kill him we could get some useful information about konoha from him."The cocky one smirked as he walked towards Shikatsu.

Shikatsu Wished he knew a little more about the ninja but he would just have to study them while he fought. The conversed for a minute before one started to walk towards him. "So, he thinks he can take me on alone, I guess that's better for me then." He thought as he stood his ground and started to memorize the area.

The cocky rogue took a few more steps towards Shikatsu. He then stopped and smirked at him."This isn't your lucky day kid, shouldn't have left by yourself maybe if you had the pink haired girl you two would last longer before we killed you." This was meant to incite some kind of reaction from shikatsu distracting him for even a second could be beneficial to the rogue. The cocky rogue flashed through some handseals as a head quickly formed below Shikatsu and attempted to chomp him in half with its razor sharp dagger teeth. If he managed to escape a tongue would emerge and try to wrap around him to pull him into its mouth.

Shikatsu Ignored the ninjas words and focused on his surroundings as he did the jutsu. He saw the head and quickly jumped back, away from it. A tongue went after him so he took out his wakizashi and cut it in half, landing on the water..

The cocky rogue would appear behind Shikatsu via shushin while he was distracted with the water head and tongue, aiming a powerful kick right at his head.

Shikatsu Spun around and used the momentum to kick at your leg. He used Oukashou to dramatically increase the attacks power as there legs connected.

The cocky rogue would notice the attack he folded his leg back next to his thigh causing Shikas counter to miss. Since he used his momentum for the kick it would be difficult to stop himself the cocky ninja threw a backhanded fist into Shikas side.

Shikatsu Couldn't stop and got hit. He was pushed back a little and got his footing back, landing on the water. He then focused his chakra and opened the first gate,
Gate of Opening (開門, Kaimon). He once again used Oukashou in his leg and then vanished. Moment later he appeared in front and under the shinobi, raising his leg upwards in a kick to his jaw. With the Oukashou on his leg, this attack would do a lot of damage and open him up for another combo if it hit.

This Taijutsu attack uses a combination of speed, strength, and the element of surprise. It is a perfect move to link up with other aerial attacks. For this Taijutsu, the ninja first disappears using a quick movement. The opponent, obviously, is totally confused. However, seconds later, the attacking shinobi appears just below their opponent, and by raising his dominant leg, kicks the enemy right on the chin. This would send the victim flying up into the air. The attacker can then proceed with an even more devastating follow-up attack. Leaf Spinning Wind is very hard to dodge, since the movement is so fast the opponent won't probably know about the attack until he gets kicked and is already high up in the air. Hard for any ninja of your rank to counter or dodge this move.

The cocky rogue smirked as he struck his opponent he knew he was gonna be easy. But his cockiness would be his downfall as shikatsu seemed to vanish and appear under him striking him hard in the jaw launching him into the air.

Shikatsu was glad he hit but didn't stop there. He followed up with Kage Buyou [ Leaf Shadow Dance ] and was now behind him, like his shadow. He then did Shishi Rendan [ Lion Combo ] to him. The Oukashou was still charged within his body. This way, when he delivered the blows, they would do amence damage.

An attack which on its own does pretty much nothing yet can inflict great damage when in combination with other Jutsu. This Jutsu is an aerial set-up, meaning the enemy has to be in the air for it to fully function. Once in the air, the shinobi positions himself just below the opponent while in the air. Thus, the ninja becomes their opponent's shadow, leaving the opponent in a difficult situation to escape from a follow-up attack.

Shishi Rendan [ Lion Combo ]
Simple :: C-Ranked
A Taijutsu technique following the Kage Konoha Buyou [Shadow Leaf Dance], putting both the ninja and their opponent in the air, giving the attacking ninja the advantage. Four separate blows are delivered: a roundhouse kick, followed by a powerful backhand blow, followed by a driving blow to propel them towards the ground faster, and finishing with a hard-hitting axe kick into the ground, reinforcing the blow. This technique puts a great deal of strain on the user's body, which is why it is concluded that it is not a technique one could come to rely on.
