Artemis smiled at the shinobi that were all over the dojo. This could've been her life, she thought, if she hadn't lost her memory. Who's to say she wasn't a citizen here before finding herself in Takumi.
She turned her attention back to her partner after his report. "There was no clear leader in the pack that attacked us. I think there's a worse wolf hiding out there, an alpha." She also agreed with her partner's choices. "Ryo, if your academy is off-limits still."

As the two collectively gave their report he listened intently and allowed his mind to analyze the intel as best he could. To say that their behavior was odd was an understatement. The oddest bits were that they had no leader they could see, and that they were aggressive while still being in the smaller packs. Tapping his chin he nodded," Two more questions, first did you engage them, or did they engage you? Second did they fight to the last or did they run?" While it seemed off the wall he most definitely had a point to his questions. Though their response to his question about payment was amusing to him and what he had figured. Smirking a bit he began,"Well I had every intention of granting you full access to this village's facilities anyway. That is what the writs are for. You will be able to come and go as you please as both guests of the village and my own personal guests. So again, Ryo or arms? I may be new to this kage thing, but I am smart enough to know that its a good idea to keep people on hand that can get things done. You two did a fine job with these wolves as such, I would like to keep this relationship going. As long as you want work or pay I will have both for you." What he was not saying, was that while he would have a plethora of good honest work for them to do, he would have no problem using them to perform the tasks that needed to be done but could not be tied to his village directly.

She let her partner give his answer, since he was more in charge of this mission than her, and was the one to offer her a trip to Kumo to begin with. She genuinely smiled at the offer of their training facilities - she wouldn't take such hard injuries the next time if she was more prepared.
"Ryo, then. Thank you." She ran a hand through her short hair, closing her eyes with relief that the mission was officially over and she could focus on recovering from it. Her partner's sigh gave her the impression he felt the same. "My next trip here, I'd love to get a better look around. Kumogakure is too pretty to pass up."
Shiro again tapped his chin as he listened to Atsuko's report. It intrigued him that they fought like that. Most wolves would have fallen back after an amount of resistence let alone a few of them getting killed. It just did not add him to him. Letting out a sigh he nodded,"Alright then. Go ahead and get yourselves checked out. Grab a bite to eat on me and by the time your ready to leave I will have an anbu with your payment and your writs at the gate waiting for you. If there are no further questions then I wish you luck in the future and a safe trip on the roads." With that he waved over his shoulder and headed towards the stairs and the protected, reinforced training areas,"OH, one last thing. If you happen to know anyone who needs work, send em our way."

Atsuko nodded along, finally getting to his feat and gently helping Artemis up as well. Perhaps they'd do a few other things sometime once they were fixed up at the hospital, though they wouldn't be pushing themselves.
"I will keep my ears and eyes peeled for you. Though, I can say its highly likely if you still have work I will be returning in a few days. Maybe with my partner or a couple others depending on how things go"
If there wasn't anything else that needed to be talked about Atsuko would help Artemis out of the facility and towards the hospital.

Artemis felt her face flush at Shiro's generosity. She hoped they would really be welcome here so she could keep returning. There was something about village life that must keep everyone happy and satisfied enough to support outsiders - even if said outsiders helped out here or there. She wasn't sure about her next availability to return for work, but hopefully soon. She was eager to get her wounds looked at to avoid any illness, not to mention food after all their hard work. "Until next time." Artemis inclined her head respectfully before leaving with Atsuko.

Awaiting details from Shiro regarding their next meeting, Unki was caught off guard by a pair of ninja out of the blue. Both ninja were beaten and worn from some excursion. Unki couldn't help but look surprised. "Woah...!" She gasped and brought her hand to chin. This was a very real situation. However, more like, the aftermath of a very real situation. The male, who had carried his assumed comrade in his arms, disclosed they had a report to Shiro. From another's perspective, things seem to be catching on for this new Shadow image of Shiro. In the meantime, Unki's perception silently waged war to cling to the preferred image against all else.
A noise carried on from elsewhere which sounded like someone calling out her name. Unki...Amano... That sounded about right, yeah? Oh-oh! A game? Did they say 'game'? Mar..co? Shiro's voice was trimming her attention to the unusual call. His instruction to meet him at the temple was hammered onto her "to-do" list before leaving. With these weird wolves running about, she'd certainly like to see those she would like to concern herself with before heading off. Family, check! Shiro, half-check! Already going with Toso, so no check needed! A half hearted wave was given to Shiro and she tried to bounce out and away from "the report" before her thoughts could stir the worst about these wolves. After building a fair distance from the party and onto her next endeavor Unki calls back: ”Maarco? With luck her parade through the academy to find this other ‘Marco’ wouldn’t last too long. If anything, maybe she could bring them on part one of her miniature break, before parts two and three being ‘nap-time’ and ‘Shiro visit’. That is, if this ‘Marco-caller was friendly enough…

Finally they had an opportunity to practice real techniques Atsuko would get some basic skills. The first was being able to shadow people. It wasn't to hard to get the knack of, really just moving through crowds unnoticed was enough. [ Shadow Stealth Learned ]
The next one he'd get someone to tie him up and he'd practice escaping. Things like rope, hand cuffs, basic stuff. In a short period of him he was weaseling his way out of things without breaking a sweat. [ Escaping Skill Learnt ]
Now was for some agility techniques. He had remembered being told about these in the academy and there was plenty of information for him to gather on it. From dashing around in close proximity to far away it came easily. [ Body Flicker Learnt ]
For a bit of utility Atsuko had circled an abosrbtion technique in his mind. Well he might not ever use it on an opponent it would be a fast way to recover chakra from a donater if it came to it. It was even surprisingly easy to learn the trick. [Chakra Absorption Technique Learnt]
Clones were an important asset to any shinobi's roster. He had a partial liking to one he had read about when he was skimming through techniques. The crow clone technique.
Unlike other clones this one would be comprised of crows so that when struck it would erupt into a mess of feathers. Even better was Atsuko himself would be able to see through these crows still. It took a bit of time to properly form the clone but once he figured out the best way the rest was easy. [ Crow Clone Learnt ]
To add onto his crow clone technique he found a technique that was complimentary. With a puff of smoke he would be able to summon a hoard of birds that would be useful to cover escapes. If you add that together with the crow clone he would be able to make chaos in only one move.
Practicing with creating crows to begin with he gradually increased the amount. There was something calming about the black feathered animals. Comboing it with his other technique he had a good murder going by the end. [ Scattering Clone Learnt ]
Astral Projection might have been his favorite technique so far. What it did was allow the user to mentally project them-self onto an area they had been before. A perfect tool for scouting areas and holding meetings with the other members of Shishin.
The first area he would practice this on would be their hide out. Sitting in a meditative pose he'd focus his mind. It took a bit of trial and error but eventually he found himself in their home base. When he cancelled the technique, he was back in the training area. [ Astral Projection Learnt ]
For the final technique in his maruton segment of training he'd be learning the shadow clone technique. Which to some degree he had a distaste for. There were a handful of skills he didn't really enjoy in the shinobi world and clones tended to fall on that spectrum. In truth he found them incredibly dry, even if they were useful.
He kept his meditative pose as he tried to push back his dislike for the technique. Unlike other clones a shadow clone wasn't something so easily whimed into existence. This shadow clone could fight, use techniques, and be far more close to the real thing then other clones.
By making a few starter clones he'd focus his chakra into each of them. Having them spar he'd visibly watch them all simply fade through each other, with not the right amount of chakra in each of them. A certain amount had to have been given.
In reality, once he double checked things, he had to give a segment of his chakra. Effectively splitting it. When he changed his thought process to more a long these lines he was able to make solid clones with ease. [ Shadow Clone Learnt ]

It was time to get into his element. That element being fire. Getting into being literally this time. Learning flame resistance was quite easy. [ Flame Resist Learnt ]
Needing some close range options on top of his taijutsu he'd go for a technique to suit that. Fire brimmed off of his arm, soon being able to be stabilized. With it he could burn through things wickedly fast with little trouble. [ Long Sword Technique Learnt ]
It was time to learn another clone unfortunately. This one actually had practical use though, it could burst into flames. By putting fire chakra into his clones he would be able to have them as a form of bomb. He wouldn't set them off in the training area of course. [ Ember Clone Learnt ]
Interestingly enough he noticed that any flames he created were darker then normal. Almost black in a sense and much hotter. Unfortunately it also made them....more difficult to produce. The first thing he'd test to see if he was right was practicing making a gout of flame. [ Flash Fan Learnt ]
Flicker step was a fun one to spice up with a bit of flames. Instead of disappearing into a puff of smoke he'd practice with fire. With a short blast of fire he could reappear else where, though it was a bit more taxing. [ Fire Release Instant Movement Learnt ]
These flames continued to dance into the air as he practiced his next technique. Sometimes simple meant better which was truly the case here. A long gout of fire that would be held for a long period of time it allowed the user to melt even the most durable of objects over time. This came almost naturally to the uchiha. Atsuko always liked the idea of flammable materials. What better way to explore this liking then to learn the technique that made a gas for him to blow up? It was a bit awkward at first getting the technique controlled, what with the gas expanding and all, but he had little problem with it after that. [Aerial Explosion Technique Learnt]
On the menu for his next technique was a bit of fire proofing. One of the downsides to fire was that it didn't care if it went on friend or foe, so cross fire was an exceptional hazard. Learning this technique would allow both himself and someone else, if he chose, to be immune to that whole issue. Indeed this was his thought process as he nailed the technique. For a bit of area of effect utility Atsuko would go for a rain of fire type attack. It wouldn't prove to useful for specific targets but he could think of a few places that could get burned down with such an option. It worked by raising ones hand into the air and focusing chakra, then creating a geyser like effect.
Starting off for this technique he'd leave the flames to low levels. What that meant was the flames were kept small, and would disappear quickly. Just like exercising he'd gradually increase the intensity of it however.
To be able to watch the flames fall down around him as he practiced was truly mesmerizing. There was a certain beauty to it all that kept him pushing forward, more precise, which each passing moment. By the time he had gotten it up to full strength he had managed to keep the floor uncharged and clean for once, letting the flames dissipate just before they touched the ground.[Incinerating Hail Technique Learnt]
It was back to focus fire this time, pun partially intended. He had a good amount of attacks under his belt but the one he read up on would fit perfectly with his current library. It was to best of all descriptors a concentrated fire attack that formed into the shape of a dragon and shot off at an opponent. It was also strong enough to punch through concrete, an added benefit.
Before he started his training he'd double check everything he had read. Learning anything that held a dragon theme to it was twice as exciting for Atsuko, as dumb as it might have sounded. Only once he had it all memorized did he'd start.
To train this he'd go outside as to avoid any property damage. All of his fire spouts and creations would get launched into the air, creating an almost firework like display for people. It took some time but eventually he got both the shape and power right for the technique. Even if it took a bit longer then normal. [Great Dragon Fire Technique]
On the list of fun things that he enjoyed using deception was definitely one of them. An attack that by the surface seems be-nine quickly turns into something that can catch even diligent opponents off guard. For even more benefit this one was something that if used on a distracted opponent could prove deadly. The pillar of fire.
In his mind the this technique would be used on people who either weren't paying attention, or assassination targets. By pin pointing a single area he could release a burst of chakra that would cause a huge pulse of fire. It would keep continually for a decent period of time, trapping anyone who was caught within it.
Putting this into practice was a bit messier then he'd like. It wasn't until the twentieth or so time that he actually managed to get the hang of it. Luckily the ground wasn't flammable. [Pillar of Fire Technique Learnt]
There sure was a theme going with these dragon attacks. Unlike having just one dragon head the hydra technique split it into three. Three fiery serpents that would seek after your opponent to burn them to a crisp. Honestly it made him wonder if dragons were more then just a pipe dream.
Hypothetical lizards aside this technique he thoroughly enjoyed to practice and read up on. Visually it was even better then the rain of fire, as he made thin whips of fire move here and there. He only started with thin wire like lines as to work his way up the ladder.
The thin wires would eventually be able to surge and take more real shape as he improved over time. Picking out fake targets and guiding them to it helped this process of course. By the end all three were both fully form and just as deadly. [Hydra Technique Learnt]
Yet another thing that he liked the general sound of were grenades. At least not in a literal sense, flammable materials in canisters weren't very useful to a ninja, but the idea was just as good for a technique. Fire off something with a timed charge and get the hell out of the way before you get roasted. It fit so well.
This was another technique he'd go out doors for. Though he had quite good control over his fire jutsu's anything that compacted for a moment before rapidly expanding wasn't a technique you'd go around using in a building unless you wanted it burned to the ground. That was where he started of course, the big boom before he worked on the small one.
Making the big blast was quite easy which left only the pre cursers. He was very patient with this technique which aided in his speed. By the time he was done he could finely set it off when it was supposed to instead of pre firing like a chump. [Pulse Blast Technique Learnt]
Well the Incendiary Technique was useful the process wasn't much to his taste. Coughing up globs of silver goop to use as explosives wasn't very pleasing. However it took little practice to learn this trick, much to his relief. [Incendiary Technique Learnt]

Artemis put her hands together to form the necessary hand seals. This body flicker technique functioned just like the original maruton that everyone learned in the academy. She transported her body a couple of meters south, outside of the academy. A mental image of the area suddenly occurred to her. [ Kenchiki: Shunshin [ Sensor: Body Flicker ] D ]
She jogged back up to the building and let her fingertips touch the outside wall. She closed her eyes and channeled chakra to her hand. A mental image of the academy schematics came to her, though only of the room on the other side. It wasn't entirely detailed. [ [ Mitsugo Heki [ Whispering Walls ] C ]
She shook her hand out, dispersing any left over chakra there. Then, she put her hand on the door beside the wall. Closing her eyes, she focused on the door itself. Anyone else who touched it would transfer information over to her automatically. [ Monko no Keibou [ Door Guard ] C ]
She removed her hand from the door. She put her hands together, forming a few hand seals. Focusing on dispersing her chakra, she aimed to generate an unseen fog that would allow her to disguise another technique. Only sensors could detect a technique released through this fog. She made a new hand sign. This was similar to the clone technique, so it required a lot of focus. She imagined an identical copy of herself, then shaped her chakra into crows. She made a new hand sign and thought about the kage's office. Just outside the kage's door, she imagined herself there. Dispelling her chakra, she made a projection of herself there just for a moment before dispersing it. She wouldn't want to alarm the kage after all. She put her hands together and formed two seals. She imagined an identical form of herself once more, but channeled her chakra into earth-type energy. A clone of her appeared before her. She backed away from the academy herself, giving herself about a few hundred feet so it was in view but she wasn't endangering it. She channeled her chakra to her palms, then slammed the ground. Her chakra travelled through the earth and generated a giant earth wall. [ Doro Gaeshi [ Mud Overturn ] C ]
She rose from her previous position and put her hands together. For a moment, it looked like she was about to begin a sun salutation. But, instead of yoga, she channeled her chakra and made the proper hand seal to make the earth below her move. It created a wave that she rode away from her earth wall. Still riding the wave, she kept her balance fairly well. She put her hands together for another few seals, murmuring under her breath. She generated a giant spike of earth out of her wave, stopping its motion. The needle looked ready to impale someone. [ Retsudo Tenshin [ Mud Needle ] C ]
She stepped off of her frozen wave and walked over to a sandbox area. She put her hands together and raised the sand with careful chakra control. If someone had been there, they'd be trapped in her sand hold. The sand became a cocoon around an invisible target. [ Sabaku Kyuu [ Desert Coffin ] C ]
She felt she would never use it, but... fortune favored the prepared. She held the sand up and made different hand seals this time. She watched the sand coffin with wary eyes as she closed her fist, compacting the sand in a way that would kill anyone contained inside. [ Sabaku Sousou [ Desert Funeral ] C ]
In case she fought a suiton user or had too much water of her own to deal with, she needed a sponge. She put her hands together and pushed her chakra into the earth below. With careful concentration, she generated a mound of earth. It grew a few feet tall, and seemed to suck up the moisture of the ground around it. [ Tsuka no Tsuchi Souzou [ Earth Mound Creation ] C ]
She lowered herself to the ground and rested her palms there. It was almost a child's pose position, but her head was raised higher. She breathed in slowly, then pulsed her chakra through the earth. She released the technique. No use hurting a defenseless bystander. Or worse, a shinobi that could retaliate. She kept her hands on the earth, channeling her chakra to generate an earth wall. She let this one tower over her. [ Doryuu Heki [ Mud Slide Barrier ] D-S (B) ]
Imagining an opponent in front of her, she gripped the earth rougher. She forced chakra to her palms and through the earth, causing it to curl up a few meters away. She left the sandbox area and all of the raised earth formations. She walked into the academy, where the indoor pool was. She made a hand sign, inspired by the pool. She created an identical form of herself. [ Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu [ Water Clone Technique ] D ]
She got on her knees besides the pool, hands on the side like she was in child's pose. She stuck her head underneath, relieved at the cool sensation as it absorbed her sweat. Focusing her chakra to her lungs, she held her breath for as long as she could before she dared try to breathe, but she didn't need to worry. It worked fine. She used the water from the pool to make moisture in the air. With a few hand signs, she created a mist. It grew thicker and thicker, obscuring her vision almost completely. [ Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ] D ]
She squinted in the mist. Her head felt exceptionally cold around the mist and with the wet hair. She focused chakra to her eyes until the mist seemed to part so she could see farther. [ Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] D ]
As if there were a target in front of her, she manipulated water towards it. She used several hand seals to control her element. She carefully molded chains around imaginary legs, trapping the target. They would be noticeably slower with this technique. [ Suikusari no Jutsu [ Water Chains Technique ] C ]
She put her fingertip to the water this time. Focusing on the wetness at her fingertips, she channeled the water up her right arm, using her chakra. When her arm was covered, she strengthened the water until it made her feel stronger. She slammed her hand into the pool, making gigantic waves, before releasing the technique and letting the water slip off her arm. [ Gousuiwan no Jutsu [ Strong Water Arm Technique ] B ]
She used her chakra to hold a ball of water between her hands. She took a deep breath, centering herself, then focused on the ball. She lifted it over her head and was surprised to hear her own thoughts be echoed; the amplification in water making it easier to hear. [ Mizu Shinmon no Jutsu [ Water Interrogation Technique ] B ]
She released the technique, her hair wet all over again. She stood up, watching as the pool waters calmed. Raising her right arm again, she lifted shards of water until they formed hundreds of water needles. She twisted their direction, then launched them back into the water. She knelt down in front of the pool, setting a hand in the pool. She channeled her chakra in controlled amounts, molding the water. In four corners of the pool, she created water pillars. The pillars then moved in a tight circle, protecting the center. [ Suiton: Hashira Kakomu [ Water Release: Pillar Encirclement ] B ]
Breathing in, she focused chakra to her lungs. When she felt her chakra control could manage the technique, she spat out a powerful beam of water. It was heated by her chakra, coming out boiling. It would scald anyone who made contact with it. [ Suihou no Jutsu [ Water Cannon Technique ] B ]
She left the pool area, heading to the back entrance to the academy and walking outside. She lit the bonfire using a stick and friction, then prepared herself for her next techniques. Inspired by the flame, she imagined making a fire version of herself. Suddenly, her identical clone appeared, only to be dismissed in an explosion. She generated a whirlwind of fire next, making several hand seals. She held the final one as the fire swirled around her in a vortex of heat before shooting off her body. The flame tornado chased down a bird that she targeted, but the fire would never catch the airborne creature and eventually just dissipated. [ Kaen Senpuu [ Flame Whirlwind ] C ]

She released the spider flames and focused her attention to the sky. There was a low hanging cloud that would make the perfect target. She cupped her mouth as she channeled her chakra and then spat out fire. Each fireball took the form of a dragon head and charged at the cloud. She expanded her chakra outwards. It was almost like a shield, but then she manipulated her chakra to spin around her like a whirlpool. It generated a fire vortex that prevented anyone from getting close. It was a fantastic defensive maneuver since it provided an uncomfortable heat and then actual burns. She held a hand out at the bonfire. She molded her chakra into a prison around it, bars and everything. Then, she ignited her chakra into fire. A flame-based prison covered the bonfire, its own flames only adding to the heat of the jutsu. [ Horou no Jutsu [ Fire Prison Technique ] B ]
She lowered herself to the ground, resting a palm there. The earth was cool in comparison to her warm skin. She channeled chakra into the earth, then had it shoot through the earth a few meters away. She put her hands together to make a new hand sign. Focusing on transporting her body somewhere else, she generated chakra all over her body. Then, suddenly, she was a few feet in the air. Artemis used her hands to cast another jutsu. The wind around her began to spin in the direction of her chakra nature. Focusing, she generated enough energy to create a tornado around her body, which whisked away dirt and debris from the academy floor in a whirlwind. [ Kaze no Yoroi [ Armor of Wind ] C ]
Artemis formed a fist. She generated her chakra around it. Her wind nature took over and started to form a whirlwind in front of her knuckles. She posed herself, then threw a punch. Generating a clone, Artemis let her identical form walk away to the other side of the room. She watched her twin look a little aimless and even waved at it out of a childish amusement. She formed a hand seal and took a long look at her clone before releasing the technique. Her clone exploded with the force of a few explosion tags, destroying a bit of the dummy beside it in return. Artemis put her hands together. Much like the nonton academy technique, she could create a clone. This version was made of lightning. She channeled her chakra with intense focus to make a clone of herself, this time charged with electricity that could shock anyone who came close. Artemis pressed her fingers into her palm from her right hand. Artemis charged her fist with raiton energy. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the coursing feeling of the electricity. Artemis, feeling confident due to the lessened shocks, put her hands together for a new technique. Her chakra surged over her body until she seemed to disappear in a flash. Instead, she actually *was* a flash - a flash of lightning. In her transformed state, she could bounce around the walls of the academy like crazy and the world moved as a blur. She brandished her knuckle busters, excited to try something beyond her swallow move. Instead of pure chakra, she utilized her raiton nature. She charged her blade with it, relishing the sensation of the lightning filling her weapon. She struck a dummy with it. The dummy's side showed a light burn from the raiton energy, revealing the success of her technique. [ Nagare Tensou no Jutsu [ Current Transfer Technique ] D ]
She cupped her hand, forming chakra in her palm. She channeled her raiton nature further until a ball of lightning appeared. It was somewhat similar to the rasengan technique, except this energy formed outward after a while into a blade of sorts. The blade was thin, and unlike a sword in that it lacked a hilt, but she made a few motions with it without any real trouble, though her lack of swordsman experience was clear. She made a hand seal. Instead of channeling her chakra in her body, it formed outside. She made a few blips of chakra, and let them be overtaken by her raiton nature. The blips buzzed and hissed and fluttered erratically like hummingbirds might. She let them float above her before throwing them at the dummy in front of her, leaving shocks and light burn marks. Most didn't perceive Raiton as defensive, but it had amazing capabilities. She put her hands together and channeled chakra through her body. She took a deep breath to center herself, then released he chakra all over her body in the form of light needles. It was somewhat like the blade technique, except smaller and numerous. She released the technique. [ Dendou Hari Fukyuu no Jutsu [ Electric Needle Spread Technique ] C ]
She put her hands out in front of her and channeled chakra to her palms. She molded a small shield by condensing the air in front of her, creating a circular mass. She molded it further until it made an imposing shield. Anything tossed at the shield would be deflected or over taken if it wasn't too powerful. [ Kumo no Tate [ Cloud Shield ] C ]
Artemis rubbed her hands together. She centered herself again to make sure she could do this correctly. She channeled her chakra to her left hand, and focused. The raiton nature took over and made her fingertips tingle. When she felt prepared enough, she released enough chakra to create strands from her fingertips. These lightning strands moved with her fingers, and when she moved to make them wrap around the dummy, they left clear burns and immobilized the inanimate object. Artemis released the technique, then walked over to the dummy and put her hands on it. While in contact, she channeled her chakra to her core. She eyed the unsuspecting dummy with mild amusement, as the inanimate object was completely unprepared for what was coming. She, in a wild burst, shot her chakra through herself and into the dummy, overpowering it with electricity and frying it further. [ Hiraishin [ Sparking Electric Needle ] B ]
"Good Instincts!" Hachiro exclaimed as he and his clone moved in on the foe, failing as Genesis slid back. His foe's body began to glow, signaling the use of a technique. Not too many skills would be useful to injure Hachiro physically.
Hachiro would take this key knowledge to his advantage. In a thin, non impairing quick plume of smoke, the clone before Genesis vanished. It would reappear directly between Hachiro, being used as a substitution material.The impact of the several hundred senbon would destroy the clone. The Subsitution not only acted as a visual distraction, but as a shield from the wave of piercing tools composed of light chakra.
For an instant, Genesis would have to wonder what had happened to the young Hachiro. From above he would fall. His blade held in both hands, poised to come down upon genesis's location from just above the orb or darkness While his substitution had doubled as shield and diversion, he had prepared this attack. It would most likely go unseen to Genesis but Hachiro's blade was held in reverse, the blunted edge of the katana to be the part that would fall on his opponent within the darkness. "Hyaaaaaaaahhhhh!" He roared. To Hachiro, this style of swordsmanship he used for this strike stemmed from what his brother had used. His sword always moved with such clarity of spirit and decisiveness. Here, Hachiro wished nothing more than to emulate him once more.

Darkness. That's all he saw. He doubted his attack landed, he would have heard something had it worked. It was odd that his opponent hadn't used the Light yet. Perhaps he was much stronger than even Genesis imagined. His own skills, paltry in comparison to a shinobi, would have to suffice in staving off the embarrassment he was showing in combat. He stayed with his sword tip on the ground until he heard a loud, defiant, roar overhead.
Hachiro.
Without time to dodge, Genesis used all the muscle in his body and swung his blade up, making sure to keep the blunt side the dominant side. The result was a powerful and swift upwards strike. Genesis's blade would meet Hachiro's, the blunt sides of both weapons clashing. Genesis had the weight advantage and the full power of his training behind his strike. His blow wouldn't damage Hachiro, merely push him back through the air as Genesis followed through with his blow and jumped back, out of the bubble.
He was sweating. That was pure luck! This guy was good, that was for sure. He was barely able to keep up. Readying his blade he awaited Hachiro's next attack.

~Current Theme Music~:Shooting Stars - Simply Imagine Toso from start to finish after the fall Here we go. It sounded like the two females were off. However, Toso himself was still suffering the after effects of Xion annoying paralytic eiseijutsu. It also did little to help that neither of the two ladies were kind enough to flip the squid turtle back into position. To be fair though he didn't ask. However, he was slowly regaining his movements. It seemed now he would be able to move one of his hands. Not his arms just his hands. This he thought wouldn't be enough. He'd have to find another method. Hold on. Method. Ink. Mouth. Hojo inking methods which simply relied on molding chakra in the stomach and moving it to ones mouth. Albeit it took just as long as hand signs, and hand signs certainly made the process less difficult but this would be his modus operandi.
There was indeed a way, he didn't have his fathers guide for reference due to it still being in Ara's possession but he did recall the Hojo inking method. Stream spit. Perhaps if he could produce a strong enough stream he could get himself back into a sitting position using the pressure built up. So with a deep inhale through his nose. He began the process of building up the chakra in his core. The transition from the chakra in his core to his mouth. This caused his cheeks to swell and balloon as it usually did.
Now for stage three. Pressurization. Unfortunately for Toso without the guide the amount of pressurization and the ability to keep it in a safe usable manner was not properly outlined. Toso would have to make an educated guess here, and as far as any educated guess guess goes it would be a crap shoot. Toso would then begin pressurizing the blend...but he didn't stop. He figured he needed a good amount of pressure to get himself back up again. Suffice to say there was a reason that one should only pressurize a stream spit once.
Then he would let loose. But it would not be a calm venture. Toso's glasses would make a distinctive c***k noise signifying they had cracked slightly. ..and then...HE WAS BLASTING OFF! A literal immobile squid rocket powered by a jet of ink was sent soaring through the sky! Needless to say it would be incredibly noticeable to everyone on the grounds. As the launch was signified with a loud "blooooooooooooooooooooooeurg" Toso's eyes as he ascended through the sky were spinning as the ink just didn't stop exploding out of the squids mouth. People have heard of projectile vomit well this was a vomit that could rival rockets. How many eyes would gaze upon the ascending inky black stream.

Of course after an ascent comes a descent. When the inky black rainbow ended, no doubt creating a rain shower of black ink to any lookers below Toso's mouth wobbled in such a way it looked like it was trying to escape the squids face. Upon his descent his three wind sock like tentacles reagined their ability to move once more. The would instinctively begin their move to attempt to cushion the blow of their semi shell shocked user. Shion glanced around the field, trying to see if she could spot their target in the immediate area, not really paying attention to Xion, so the tone in how she introduced herself was all but lost on her. "Shion... pleasure." Shion was about to suggest moving locations when Xion started shouting into the air. I guess that was one way to go about it... but did she really think that would work? Just as the thought crossed her mind, the faint cries of a response carried on the air. Shion supposed it wasn't too far of a stretch for the idea to work, but twice? On the same day? It looks like shouting it the best way to find someone in Kumo. Unfortunately, Shion's hearing isn't what it could be, so she couldn't exactly pinpoint which direction the reply came from, but maybe Xion did.
