A ghostly laughter echoed from the armor which filtered through the topic. It was time to strike. His horse rose on his hind legs as he neighed bombastically. Once he returned four legs, he leaped. Zhi had an incoming horse and his headless rider crashing upon her location. The force of the impact would definitely break bones, and he aimed himself to crash upon Zhi’s torso. The distance of the jump did not matter, nor did the height. Who cared about such things anyhow?
__ The strong barrier of wind surrounding Zhi swirled about like a miniature storm. Sand and other debris were carried into it, but it didn't necessarily bother her that it was made difficult to see in or out of the Armor of Wind. When the horseman got aggressive Zhi responded in kind. A few more hand seals were completed as the ghastly figure closed the distance to land upon her and another tornado took form between them. This counter was timed to catch the horseman midair in the Tornado Trap technique. Zhi hoped that it would contain him, but even if it didn't it would surely hinder his attack enough for her shield to have more than enough power to repel the advance. The Tornado Trap was designed to push captives back inside itself and cutting them if the windy walls were touched, and her Armor of Wind was capable of knocking back most threats that came into contact with it. Honestly, she believed the armor was strong enough anyway, but why take the chance? Once the threat was contained she could shift to a more offensive strategy. Hopefully there was something worthwhile in her arsenal.

The tornado caught the horsemen mid flight, as Zhi predicted. What she did not anticipate, however, is for the wind to be absorbed straight into the knight. The wind spun around and went into the armor, filling the hollow suite with wind and creating for the headless one a swirling sphere of wind where his head should be. The technique did re-navigate where the horsemen landed by a few feet. However, when the horse landed, the headless horsemen transferred the wind chakra from the strike to create a shockwave gale in all directions. Zhi would find her shield ineffective against such a strike.

__ Zhi was rather surprised by what she witnessed. Her chakra just... got sucked into the headless knight's body while he was barely pushed aside by the Tornado Trap's gust. 'Chakra can do that!? Holy cannoli!' Zhi thought to hersel while jumping back away to her right while the horseman landed astray from his original target. Zhi could see the wind chakra being transferred from the monster's mantle down to the horse's hooves while it was landing and decided to prepare a little experiment of her own. Chakra flowed into her hand with the very specific purpose of mimicking what she had just witnessed through her amazing sensory talent. As she touched ground the wind shockwave came flying right at her. "Anything you can do..." To which she responded by holding her hand out at the stolen wind chakra. Her newfound technique would be implemented on the spot, by none other than the self-styled genius herself. The fuuton chakra was dragged into her palm on contact and instantly rejuvenated her reserves. "I can do better!" Her shield was gone, but she was ready to take this fight up a notch! Sure, she was still a little scared, but more than that she was looking forward to bragging about beating this thing by herself to Lady Bastet! Her index and middle fingers crossed in front of her to form a very particular hand seal. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Three clones appeared around her, one in front and on each side of herself. Her chakra and stamina was evenly distributed between the four of them. "Y'all know the plan!""OSU!" The clones cheered in acknowledgement.
The clone on Zhi's right quickly finished the hand seals for another wind element technique to be executed on cue, but not just yet. The clone on her left performed a few hand seals and unleashed a Lightning Bolt Technique to fly at the headless horseman. If it hit he wouldn't suffer much damage, but the metal armor might amplify that to a larger affected area. It was also worthwhile bait to test this enemy's intelligence... while lacking a head, let alone a brain. The last clone in front brought her hands up in front of herself defensively in anticipation for the enemy's next attack. Zhi hid herself in the huddle while finishing hand seals for her unique Rapid Reasoning technique. Admittedly, she felt pretty darn winded at this point, but knew that she could dispel a Shadow Clone to recover, or simply exercise her newest jutsu if the opportunity arose.

The Horseman was stunned when the chakra was absorbed from him. What kind of protege was he facing off against? By orders of the high maiden his only goal was to bring the head of those who do not deserve their headbands. Had he make a wrong choice? Now there were more of her! The headless horseman had enough trouble keeping track of one. One of them shot him with lightning. This was their mistake. The chakra was once again absorbed into the armor and a lightning head formed. Did these three already forget his powers? Regardless, they’ll see his wrath. His left hand rose to the sky as thunderclouds formed in the area. Thunder cracked in rhythmic beats until a bolt of lightning fell into his hand. The lightning molded into a giant jack o lantern as he waited for the full shape to form. Once it did, he would destroy all three clones.

A dark green blur surrounded by black crackling lightning blasted across the area. It was difficult to keep a visual on with to anyone less than Jonin rank. This blur left a trail of sand in its wake as it moved. Masato's form would appear to those watching clearly for a brief moment as he was shoulder to shoulder with the horseman, his hand gripping the collar of the thing's armor since it lacked a head. With his overwhelming strength, he would rip the horseman from his mount, slamming him to the ground several dozen feet behind the steed. As Masato himself would land, a rapid spinning motion would lead to an axe kick to its center. If unblocked, it was sure to crack its armor, if not shatter it. The ground beneath the impact spot would crack in all directions, forming a small crater seconds after the impact as Masato would land outside the crater in a kneeling position. His body still felt no pain, but it would not react correctly. Small electrical jolts danced across his body as it was slightly numb thanks to its lightning form. He roared to Zhi. " Finish it! " if Zhi was unable to, Masato would most likely strain himself to an unhealthy amount.
__ While her clones didn't have quite as much leeway in sensing the incoming reinforcements, Zhi did thanks to her heightened reflexes. She didn't have time to acknowledge him before he came in swinging with all sorts of fancy taijutsu moves. Her plan was upset a little, but nothing a genius like her couldn't handle. "Now, do it!" Zhi shouted to her clone preparing the wind jutsu. The clone promptly executed the Flower Scattering Dance, summoning and drawing a potent whirlwind of flower petals around the horseman. The wind would proceed to batter the raiton-enhanced being even further after Masato while dragging him helplessly into the air. Whatever technique he was preparing would hopefully be stalled while Zhi and her clones wrapped this up. With half a second between each movement, Zhi and the other two clones would perform their Speed Release's version of the Shunshin no jutsu, blasting off into the sky to approach the enemy with their finishing combo attack. The wind jutsu would most likely have dismantled that electrical aura, but since Zhi was attacking first she could absorb the aura while she attacked if needed. Zhi would appear first, thrusting a Cherry Blossom Impact upon the exposed damaged area of the horseman's armor and sending him flying toward the ground. "THIS!" The second clone would intercept the monster before he'd touch ground and Cherry Blossom Impact punch him in the same spot, but now up into a wayward angle toward the sky again. "IS!!" The last clone would yet again intercepted the monster's path with one last Cherry Blossom Impact to throw him down onto his horse with all the built up momentum from the previous strikes. The clone that had initiated this combo had her hands held out to deliver the overkill of a finishing blow. "ZANKYOKUKUHAAAAAAA!!!" The Extreme Decapitating Air Waves technique would let fly from her palms, unleashing a massive wave of hypersonic air capable of destroying sturdy structures and large boulders. This was Zhi's mark. It was another step toward becoming a true hero of Sunagakure like her precious idol, Lady Bastet.

The Horseman had no counter to Masato’s charge. Although he came in fast, the Taijutsu ninja would still be electrocuted by the creatures body of literal lightning. This also caused the punch’s impact to lessen, so the armor was dented and not shattered. It also did not stop the charging of the pumpkin bomb. What did stop it, however, was the use of the wind element. The horsemen fell powerless and limp as his body was carried upward. The strikes each cracked his shell since there was no longer an elemental body within to keep its shape. Each punch shattered the armor more, until the air waves came down and the armor completely broke. As he and the horse dissolved to nothing a key fell to the ground. Zhi then was made aware of the skeleton Kong’s location.
(Congratulations! With this key you are now aware that the skeleton king is hiding in a trap door in the eternal forest. In order to enter you need four keys. Either work with others to help gather keys, or collect more pumpkins to unlock another baddie and key.)
Saiko walked into the area, noticing that a battle was happening but as soon as he showed up, it ended. The boy shrugged softly and walked around the area, searching for other pumpkins that perhaps the group that was here had missed. The boy stayed away from the group of shinobi as he didn't wanna get int here way in case anything else was happening but, also so he wouldn't be spotted and thought to be another enemy.

The black lightning that flickered arounnd him faded as he witnessed Zhi complete the fight between the foes. His eyes had not held the sharingan form since the fight began, he wouldn't have noticed it as engaged as he was. His body had yet to recover from his fight with Nariomi sensei when this began, since then he had fought three foes using the fifth gate. He pushed himself from his kneeling position as the micro-fractures all over his body began to signal pain.
He gave Zhi a quick smile, hiding his pain and would silently walk towards the hospital.
Ferrah moved through the winding canyons using her wall walking technique so that she would be able to get a good view into the distance. On paper you would think that searching here would be easy with the large open spaces but everything here blended so easily that Ferrah found it hard to search every possible opening that pumpkin could be hidden away in.
Stumbling to catch her footing in one of the many cracks that lined the surrounding area Ferrah managed to get lucky enough to catch sight of a pumpkin squirreled away in the cracks that she had just so gracefully tripped on. Even better it seems that this pumpkin held the means to trace the signal back to it's originator.

Thank goodness. Taylor wasn't sure where to go to find his friend. He knew the last place where he saw her, but it was days since then. It was a guessing game, and thankfully he ended up lucky. The girl in his hands was still not awake. His breathing was heavier as he moved over to Zhi. "Zhi! I need your help." Taylor said as he knelt in front of his friend and placed the girl gently upon the ground in front of her. "Miss Kyomei is not alright. She's not responding to anything I do." He said, the fear creeping further into his words. His hands rested gently underneath Kyomei's head. With desperate eyes he looked up at his friend. "I think it's some sort of genjutsu, but my kai techniques have not been working. You can do the sensing thing. You need to figure out how to break it. Please" Taylor begged. He didn't want to see anyone die, but he was powerless. He hated feeling powerless. All he could hope for was that Zhi could fix this.
Meanwhile, Freddy had enough. As the monster giant pursued the fleeing Kyomei, Freddy leaped into action. He jumped off of the shoulder to come down upon the girl. It was time now to end this. His bladed hand was extended as he tried to pounce on the smol girl. Was this the end of her?

OOC: Alright Reg, your sensory skills should be able to sense that the enemy has literally turned himself into a genjutsu in order to attack Kyomei. An A-ranked Kai will be enough to snap Kyomei out of it. Furthermore, if Kyomei holds onto Freddy when the kai is activated, then he'll be dragged into the real world.

The smol girl was tiring now in her nightmares. She knew she could not run forever...but...but that thing behind her. She clenched her eyes shut in an attempt to open them again as if it were all just a bad dream. She would turn behind her and still the the creature in hot pursuit. But then, it became apparent its rider grew impatient as he would leap descending like a lion on pounce upon it's prey.
Kyomei was still rightly terrified, but...the thing that wasn't scary to her. That was the thing that was attacking. She'd pause turn heel to face her fear, but rather than address Freddy she addressed her personal demon. "WHAT KIND OF GREATER DEMON LETS A LESSER DEMON TAKE WHATS RIGHTFULLY HIS FIRST!" Demon's real or fake, ***** or no. They all had one thing in common. A sense of entitlement above what they deemed as lesser than them. Maybe by calling out to her terror, despite how much of a crap shoot it was it would in a way aid her in 'the enemy of my enemy' sense by knocking the carpet man down a notch.
If it did, Kyomei knew that this all started with the carpet man, and maybe she could end it with the carpet man. Whether he fell to the ground from a unexpected blow from the beast once helping him or still coming straight for Kyomei the smol girl puffed up her cheeks an would perform a full frontal football tackle into the stupid sweater vest. Eye's closed of course bracing for the worst of outcomes.

Description: Chōwa is a Khakkhara passed down in Kyomei's family. It isn't by any means something that holds great significance as there have been many Chōwa before it. The christening of the name given unto every Khakkhara in the family solely because it is a reminder to always follow the way of peace to achieve true happiness in life and that all things despite the good and the bad that occur in them remain in harmony despite what it may seem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ▼ Enlightened Form: Weapon Name: Keihatsu {Enlightenment}. When slammed a Chōwa becomes what Kyomei's family calls the Keihatsu or The Enlightenment. It signifies that the wielder has been given or found purpose in life. Description: The Keihatsu emits a super natural glow, one that often synchronizes with the user's own chakra. Aside from this glowing the Keihatsu bares no other physical difference from it's previous form as a Chowa.
Ability Summary
►8 Ring Shattering: Rank: X Description: The Keihatsu's rings can separate themselves from the the staff they are attached to, they then grow up to an incredible size. Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. A Total of 40 Chakra For 8: Rings must be sustained whilst in flight.) The rings are then often intended to place a target in their vacant center and contract immediately to restrict the target. If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. The weaponized rings strength is equivalent to the user's amounted expended for stamina with Formless Style: Shakujou.

This seal is treated as an S+ seal if all 8 rings find a way to ensnare their target. The target that meets all the criteria 1eing A Strange Creature 2:Harboring/Portraying Violent Tendencies cannot use any of their supernatural strength, skills, or powers, and effectively are stripped of all defenses up to the rank of rings used. Sacred Detainment then drains half said X-ranks worth of Chakra each post it is sustained. Sacred Detainment Does Work on Jinchuuriki but to a lesser extent only being treated as one X-ranked amount less and only stripping them of their [ Demon Techniques and Benefits ] equal to the amount of rings detaining them. Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.
►Edict of Purification: Rank: X {1-rank per Ring} Type:Special- Fuuin Element: All Description: When the Edict of Purification occurs the user stands still and begins reciting a mantra. As the Mantra progresses a ring will detach itself grow to it's maximum size and then portray the chinese or kanji symbol of an element. [1 Per Post ] The Elements are 火 [Ka] [Fire] : 風 [Fū] [Wind] :土 [Do] [Earth] : 雷 [Rai] [Lightening] : 水 [Sui] [Water]: 冥 [Mei] [Dark]: 光 [Kō] [Light]: 空[Kū] [Void]. The Mantra Must Be Sustained, Breaking of the mantra causes any rings at that point to fall pointlessly to the ground and return to the Keihatsu. The cost of this technique is progressive per post. [5], [10], [20], [40], [80], [160], [160], [160]. A Total of [640] by the final post. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.
