James LanamGravity ManThe man known as James Lanam wasn't very well known. He had spend the last 8 years of his life as a good person, not pirate. He sped around the East Blue searching for crew members, though he failed miserably. James wanted to find people he could actually communicate with rather than break a couple of bones. He wasn't looking for member who drinks every few second, nor those who would like to destroy things every other minute. No, he was rather searching for a group that is well, people. He knew it was a futile move to do so for he wasn't sure if he could find any pirates with the same intention as himself. So there he was, wandering off from island to island, finding himself into a situation where he was the good guy, helping out the villages with some form of problem. Once, he even had to fight off a group of marines who had other intentions. The group turned out to be very dangerous but James made quick work of them, sinking the Marine base into the sea. The marines eventually gave up fearing James' power. Though they did not pay attention to the minor details, such as the time it takes for him to reuse his technique. James just awaited for something to happen as he stared into the sky. He was inside his small boat waiting, in the middle of the ocean he floats.

Fayth NorikioFayth held her hammer in her fist and leaned against the door way of her small shop blocking the entrance. She was being hassled by a bunch of rookie pirates that wanted cheap weapons. But Fayth had a standard taught to her by her master. There was no way she was making any cheap no good weapons and that was that. She gave the bunchs small captain a frown as he smile at her and tried to persuade her, "No is no. Now get away from my shops door before you scare away real customer with real money and worth." She then turned her back on them and went to shut the door. This is when the captain stopped all his friendly smiling and went to use force. Her stopped her and crossed into the shop. Mistake number one, she thought crossing the messy room to the fire and grabbing her gloves. You never entered a blacksmiths domain unwelcomed. It just wasn't polite.

James LanamGravity ManThe boat floated endlessly until it landed to some strange island. He didn't know what it was called so he decided to explore it. There was alot of things James didn't know and this could be a great breakthrough for his thoughts. He began to walk around the town, it seemed like the island was well populated enough. And from the looks of things, everyone knew each other like a big extended family. James began to wonder if he should keep going. The time was limited and his boat would probably wash away if he stays here for too long. And so he searched for something nice to do. The smell of gun powder and flames entered his nose, a fight was brewing somewhere in the island. James began to rushed around, finding a small blacksmith shop occupied with numerous pirates. A strange glint entered James' eyes, it was time for battle.

Fayth NorikioRookie Pirates I swear, thought Fayth as she ducked behind one of her anvils as they started to fire bullets at her. Sure she could make herself into water but what was the point in revealing that to some 12th rate rookie? Well it didn't matter who it was Fayth had revealed it to anyone. If it wasn't clear she was by now by the fact that no part of her body had even the tiniest burn on it then too bad you lost your clue for knowing. Fayth reached out and grabbed her gloves slipping them then grabbign one of the cold ends of the irons that she had laying near the fire. She rolled behind barrel that contained random pieces of iron and steel grabbing out one of the skinny steel pieces. Now somewhat well armed she slipped on the large work desk that was in the middle of the room and when the gun fire stopped she slid out the other side talking a couple of large steps before whacking the captain of the crew with the warm iron.

James LanamGravity ManJames was outside the building when all the fighting inside happened. He was too busy dealing with the pirates who occupied the entrance of the blacksmith shop. Though there minds weren't connected, James and Fayth thought of the same thing. This pirated where low rank idiots who did not even have a hair on their body that could match James' ability. From the sound of the inside, it seemed like something was transpiring. So James easily swept through the numerous pirates and made his way inside. He was met by a seemingly flying captain of the wortless pirates. The captain had a deep red gash across his face and he seem to be bleeding from the inside. James could've caught him but chose not to,and let him fall into the cold damp flooring. He was expecting to see a blacksmith not a woman, so he immediately took note that this girl was very powerfull in her own terms. "Greetings my lady. I am James Lanam" He timed it perfectly so that when the opposing pirate attempted to swing at him, James dodge it and slam the pirate into the ground. The first impression is always the most important.

Fayth NorikioFayth stood at her full height as the captian went flying back. The blow wasn't one of a skilled swordmen but more of a blacksmith swinging a hammer at a hot piece of steel. All power was directed at the end of the weapon. She smirked but that quickly disappeared as she saw watch some black hood man slide right into the doorway. She wasn't quite sure what to think of him but she could tell just by the way he'd swept right in that he wasn't one of the novice pirates trying to fight her into submission. Not a novice fighter if you noted the exellent way he seemed to halfheartedly dodge a swinging pirate and then throw him to the ground. If this had been the crews captain they'd would have gotten the weapons they wanted. "Welcome Mr. Lanam to my humble shop. I'm Fayth Norikio. What brings you here on this fine day?" she asked swinging at another crewman as he tried to poke at her with his dagger.

James LanamGravity ManJames almost laugh, almost but he choose not to do so. Instead he literally release the air he was holding in and laugh at the women's cheek. He like that in people, the cheeky nature of anybody would always make him laugh. He looked around at the twitchy body of the pirates. It seems like James and Fayth made quick work of them, weaklings. "Why thank you kind madam." He bowed in respect toward her before continuing his thoughts. "Do you have any good vessel in this island madam?" James remained at his bowing position for another second before standing tall. A man must always be presentable in front of youngones. It wasn't nice when kids make fun of old people for being, well, old.

Fayth NorikioFayth eyed the pirates carefully before tossing the steel pipe back in its barrel and the iron on back next to the fire. She pulled off her gloves and returned his bow with a deeper one of her own, since he was older so more respect shown. She straightened as she answered him pulling a small string of hair back behind her ear, "Sorry Mr. Lanam but that's not my trade but I've heard a number of things about ships around here. Not sure which are true or not. The bar says these novices came on a pretty fine ship and there's always talk that the old man down the rode is hiding one away in a cove."

James LanamGravity ManThe man surveyed the place of the girl. It wasn't so bad for a blacksmith, a woman for the matter. It was just a strange sight to find woman doing a man's job. Well that was his time. 'I suppose its different now...' A small flash of memory entered him "Why James, how could you?" said by a woman to the 19years old version of James. He quickly shook of the memory as he didn't want to remember it...ever. "Can you accompany me madam?" He asked nicely, as if he wasn't ever in the state of memory elapse.

Fayth Norikio"Accompany you?" asked Fayth a little unsure. The man didn't seem like he need any help going anywhere on his own. Hey but who was she to judge. Her smith master could throw a hammer like nobody's business but ask him to walk the next town and already his ankles would ache in pain. Maybe the man didn't know were to find the ship or the cove. "I guess I do owe you for your help. Where do you wish me to accompany you to?" she asked stuffing her gloves inbetween her belt and hip looking up at the man.

James LanamGravity ManJames nodded slowly, he was spacing out again and he didn't recover his focus until the girl asked him where he wants to be led to. "Eh, I would like you to take me to the ship if you don't mind, I'm afraid I do not know this island as much as you do." It was suppose to come out as a compliment but came out as something else, he did not know which category to put it on though.

Fayth NorikioFayth shook her head with a small smile. She wasn't sure what to make of the man just yet. He seemed... spacey? That didn't seem like the right word but she shrugged it off. Who was she to judge after all. "Alright Mr," said Fayth stepping around him to get out the door. She would have loved to had lead the man to ship of these novices but he seemed like to respectable a man to take things that didn't belong to him, so it was to the cove. "This way Mr." beckened him to the left down an old path that didn't look like it got much use anymore, "So what do you need a ship for?"

James LanamGravity ManThe sound of Mister reminded James of his age, which was not a very good thing"Please, call me James." He said a bit irritated, his gentle manlike quality disappeared for a second before it returned again. "I need a bigger ship to sail with my crew." He answered

Fayth Norikio"Sorry James," said Fayth tripping over his name a little, not use to calling people by their first names. It always felt so weird since she'd only called two people in her whole life by their first names, her smith master and her brother. At the second part Fayth looked behind them both for a crew that didn't seem to exist of his. "Ah alright," said Fayth starting to seriously wonder about this man as she stepped over a couple of roots and slipped down a small embankment, "This crew of yours waiting for you at your old ship?"
