In the depths of space, along the outer rim, there is a dead world. Or what was once a dead world.
During the Mandalorian Wars, this world was decimated using a Mass Shadow Generator, a gravity weapon designed by a single Zabrak Engineer. Thousands upon thousands of Mandalorians, Republic Troopers and Jedi Knights were killed in a flash.
After, it became the home of a secret and dark Sith Assassin Training Facility. This facility was subsequently destroyed when the Mass Shadow Generator was reactivated, and three crashed Republic Starships detonated simultaneously.
Now, the floating wreckage remains, holding some minor atmosphere here and there. The largest fragments still support small clusters of the last living creature to have existed here, and it's said that the Sith Facility remains partially intact at the center of the wreckage.
An eerie, green glow encircles the area, creating a scanner barrier that prevents communication or external scouting. This glow is the remainder of Malachor's dark power, a poisoned cloud of vile energy which has warped and twisted the remainder of the world's life, and formerly shaped the surface itself.
Now, only the foolish and daring try to enter the remains of Malachor IV, searching for some treasure amongst the floating rubble. Few ever return if they attempt it...
Cities Of Note: None. This floating mass of space debris is as dead as one would expect, save for the Storm Beasts.

Non-Sentient Species Of Note: Storm Beasts: These gigantic creatures are nearly twice the height of a Wookiee, and lack internal organs for the consumption of food or drink. They exist only in the wreckage of Malachor IV, protected against the depths of space by the Dark Side. They are a warped and malformed species, green skinned and reptilian in general appearance.
