~<The Heir of Slytherin... Does anybody want to learn how to ballroom dance? I wish I knew how to dance like that. I want to take lessons to learn before I get married so I don't look like an oaf on the dancefloor with my husband. Do you watch the show "Dancing with the Stars" on tv? They teach celebrities how to dance and they get scored and voted off and all that. It's a fun show to watch. My favorite part is the sparkly costumes. My favorite dances are the waltz, rumba, quickstep, and swing. What are yours? ...has arrived!>~

I can swing dance a little (my grandpa taught me when I was just a kid), but that's about it. I wanna learn more swing dancing, some of the fancy stuff, and more ballroom dancing type stuff, but I don't think they have classes like that near where I live.

~<The Heir of Slytherin... We have a class at our university for a gym credit. But I have nobody to take it with, and don't really want to dance with another girl, so that answers that.
I want to go to an Arthur Murray dance studio to learn. I think there's one of those near my house in NJ... ...has arrived!>~

Oooh, exciting.
I've always had a slight urge to learn, but I'm not the most coordinated person around.

I watched Dancing with the Stars! Loved it. I really though John O'Herlihy (sp?) should have won! Anyway, I don't know how to ballroom dance, but I like the Tango and the Paso Doble the best. All that fire and passion!

Hey Orange Blossom, my college has a ballroom dance class for gym credit too. It was a lot of fun. SoVeryWrong & I also took dance lessons before we got married. I didn't like the instructor there as much though.
My favorite dance by far is swing. I love the music and just can't stop myself from dancing around when I hear it! I can't wait until we have more time and money and can take lessons again. I want to learn all of the cool flippy moves!
I've seen commercials for Dancing with the Stars, but I don't really have much time for TV, so I haven't seen the show.

I hope it's more relaxed for the customers than the employees. You should take classes! I got invited to go to some with a guy I used to game with, but I take bellydance on Tuesday and Thursday nights...so I'd really be pushing it to do so. BTW, that makes me ask... Strictly Ballroom???? heart heart heart heart heart

Lobster.Pants Oooh, exciting.
I've always had a slight urge to learn, but I'm not the most coordinated person around. Ah, Lobster Pants, you should try it! I was not the most coordinated, but dance has made an improvement for me. Maybe it would work for you, too?

~<The Heir of Slytherin... Strictly Ballroom sounds familiar, but I'm not sure where from.
Fresnel: I think John O'Herlihy should have won also. The girl that won nearly fell out of a lift in the final! How is that fair that she won? And you know the Paso Doble?! I danced that at the gym I belong to (one of the instructors at the gym also works at Arthur Murray). Even though the teacher was over 6 feet tall, he really liked me and said that he liked the way I danced the paso doble. (I'm only 5'2").
I also like the show Ballroom Bootcamp. Sometimes I with I could go on that show. ^_^ And the movie "Mad Hot Ballroom" is amazing too. It's a documentary about the dancing program for 4th and 5th graders in NYC. ...has arrived!>~

They have an equilivent of that here in England, it's called Strictly come Dancing. I didn't watch it though...
And I cannot dance to save myself! When I was little I went to dancing classes and I cried everytime I went there...so I quit.

~<The Heir of Slytherin... I used to take tap and ballet classes. I loved it, and probably would have continued into college or whatever but during my sophomore year of high school I definitely didn't have time to go to all the classes, so I stopped before my junior year. ...has arrived!>~

The only type of dancing that I like is ballroom dancing. Others, I find stupid.
Too bad that I can't learn it, though. Well, not can't, but just haven't found a place to learn it.
