You all know the Episode Im talking about. If not its the one where Lister ( a.k.a Closter) finds out that he is infact the Cat God, that his pet cat Frankinstein (funny if you think about it as Frankinstein was the creator of the Monster what does that say about The Cat?) is the Holy Mother.
He also finds out that the Cat race fough a war over what colour the hats of the restraunt he planned to have was supost to be. One side said Blue they went off else where using Lister's laundry list thinking it to be divine instruttions to get to Fushal (Fuji), the Promised Land. The Red followed other list, leaving behind including the The Cat's famialy and some other idiots.
Lister reavels that all along that the Hats were meant to be Green.
Or those of you with short memory that only record the realy funny bits it when Lister wears a Golden Dougnut on his head and carrys a Golden sausasge.
I vote Red simply in remerance of the Red Dwarf.

Either green, because that's my favorite color, or red, because that's also my favorite. xd And because it's Red Dwarf.
As an aside, I always wondered why they had skimmed over the fact that the Cat race was basically created by inbreeding. It could've accounted for many of Cat's more insane moments. xd

It should be green because it should be God's (Lister's) choice. Of course, as time went on, the cats would have split into different demoninations, and eventually all the colors would probably have been worn by each sect.
