You're kidding me...that's horrible. Mine's from 1997, and it's not that high! Zoinks!

Is it consolidated??? Here's to hoping they eventually pass a law to allow us to refinance those horrible student loan interest rates. Meh!

You have my utmost sympathy!

Ugh! I went to art school...but it was at a little podunk "party school"...this was not by choice. I think my full educational degree cost about as much as two of your semesters. Of course, the interest means I am paying about double that over all.

Is there any way you can apply for grants/scholarships to help defray the cost? I sure didn't...but hey...there's always time to try!

The cost of school is insane, to say the least. *mehs*

Ah, scary.

I'm quite paranoid about college. I wonder how I'll pay. Oh well, I graduate in 2008, I've got some time.

I'd thought about going ot college for awhile... but I know I'd never make it through. So I'm probably gonna go to trade school or something. Or become a rich author. Whichever comes first.

"Rich author" is an oxymoron, unless you are Stephen King or JK Rowling or some other celebrity writer.

Trade school sounds like a better bet ...

I agree with Fresnel...tell you what, go to trade school, and author on the side. That way you have funding, and you do what you want on the off hours.

Good luck!

If you're a good enough author and you write enough books.....you can get rich. I've already written one and have started another, just need to get it published........

Mrff....

Here in Georgia, if you maintain a B average or better in high school, I believe, the state will pay for you to go to college. Then you have to maintain that average throughout college, too, but even though that puts a lot of pressure on you, I think it's pretty amazing.
