Cody had asked some of the ninja in the leaf village on the day the seal went missing if they saw anyone out of the ordinary. One did and gave him a description. He landed on a building and gazed at the town, "Alright... lets start searching!" 'Water Clone Jutsu' Six clones appeared next to him and they all jumped in different directions. Each one went to look for the one who stole the seal.

Chiasa stood on the roof of a tall building. She stood on the edge, her hair blowing with the wind. The shinigami watched for any signs of ninjas. Against the sunset chiasa watched calmly as she saw a boy use a jutsu, a sure sign of a ninja. He must be searching for his leader's lost demon. Why don't you go and greet him, Chiasa? I don't want to get rusty! Not now. I don't want to fight unless I know my enemy. Wait untill I confront him.

The real Cody was jumping from building to building looking for the shinigama that stole the scroll when he saw Chiasa. He jumped over and landed next to her, "Hey... your that Shinigama from earlier right?" He snapped his fingers trying to remember, "Chiasa wasn't it?"

Chiasa looked at Cody, a small frown on her lips. "Yes, my name is Chiasa. Your name is Cody... right?" The shinigami turned towards the ninja, her hands folded in front of her. "So, Cody-san, what are you doing?"

Cody looked at her, "Don't worry... im not going to case any trouble, as long as no one attacks me... anyway, Im trying to look for another Shinigami who has red colored hair, wears a scarf, and I believe is a captain... do you know who he is?"

Red hair...? That sounds like my Captain! I doubt that he took it,and even if he did I wouldn't betray my captain. Although Chiasa was shocked by Cody's description she wore her frown like a mask. No recongision of the shinigami came from her voice or body. "I'm sorry, Cody-san, I havn't seen a captain that fits that description. Prehaps your informer was misinformed...?"

Cody rubbed the back of his head and let out a sigh, "Well considering that my informer was 'stunned' by this shinigami and got a good look at him before he was tied up." He saw that she knew something, "Look... Im looking for this guy because he stole something very dangerous that could possible destroy everything if released and the hokage of my village is looking for him in order to keep everyone from getting killed."

Chiasa looked at Cody curiously. "Ah yes, I'v met your hokage before. Well in any case I havn't seen a captain with that description. I believe I know what item your searching for, but what exactly do you think that shinigami is trying to achieve? Most shinigami are trying to achieve peace or prevent unneccisary death..." Chiasa looked at Cody and began to think What does this demon mean to him? Is it really to prevent deaths? Even if they get it back, what will that achieve? Others will soon come after it....

Cody looked at her, "So you know of a scroll that contains a demon that if released will go on a rampage destroying anything in its path... It was sealed inside the scroll to contain the power and we had it stored so that it wouldn't cause trouble but with the knowledge that someone has stolen it... then it could mean that it would cause many unnecessary deaths... which is why we are looking for it."

"Yes, I know about this demon." Chiasa said calmly "Thank you for telling me why you are looking for it, but judging on your hokage's actions, I think that your reasons are different than your leader's. And what makes you think that when you get the scroll that the fighting will stop? I would love to know. I can see only death when I think about the ninja retaking the scroll. Other villages and strong ninja will be after the demon..." The shinigami crossed her arms, her mind racing through the different possabilities while her spirit roared for a fight. Not now. I told you before that I don't want to start something unless I need to!

Cody knew that she knew who had it, "Look, I know my leader and I know that he doesn't want innocent people to die. I also figured that the war wouldn't end but at least we wouldn't have to worry about a demon attacking either side." He rubbed his forehead, "Look... I really want to find this scroll because I don't want innocent people to get hurt. Im a ninja and part of my way of honor is that innocent people shouldn't get involved in a war that they don't know about."

"I, too, protect innocent people Cody. Thats why I became a shinigami! I don't know who your talking about..." Chiasa lowered her gaze to the floor "I'v met other ninja's before. They sure didn't believe in your honor... Who ever took the scroll must have an idea of how strong it is and how to use it, but I can't help you." Chiasa raised her head back to Cody and she looked at him with sad eyes.

Cody walked over to Chiasa and put his hand on her shoulder, "Look, im sorry for causing any problems with you but im just trying to look for this seal so that I can store it away so that neither side can use it, meaning that no innocent people get hurt." He than looked at her, "Than I promise that I will leave this town and won't come back... well not really, I might have to come back so that I can pick up more of that candy... but I won't come with weapons and Ill travel like a normal person."

Chiasa shivered uncomfortably as Cody touched her. "I understand why you want it, but I can't help you. I really wish that I could, but it just isn't possible. I don't know a shinigami by that description..." She looked down and away from Cody "You arn't causing problems, yet... I hope that you do visit as a normal person though..."

Cody nodded and started to walk away, "Well thank you anyway and sorry for bothering you." He was about to jump off and continue his search when a clone jumped next to him, "Anything?" The clone shook its head, "Sorry we can't find him anywhere."
