For everyone who's used the Genki textbook series!! and watched the heartwarming meeting and parting of Takeshi and Mary.. well.. lets talk about it!!
What was your favorite moment?
How scared are you of Robert-san?
Seriously though, Genki was like a mini drama.

My favorite is the lesson where bad things happen to Takeshi-san. The picture of the chikan rubbing Takeshi's butt on the train was hilarious.
Also, I find it extremely funny (in a racist sort of way) that the only black guy in the entire genki series is named "Mr.Brown"

Ziekara My favorite is the lesson where bad things happen to Takeshi-san. The picture of the chikan rubbing Takeshi's butt on the train was hilarious. Lol. I just did this chapter last week. On the passive voice? It was so funny. Poor Takeshi-san. XP

I've seen that page in my friends book though I didn't get up to it yet--it is really funny XD
I also like the page with all the "nai de kudasai" where the girls is trying to commit suicide and the guy is like "shinai de kudasai!!" ... Genki is so messed up XD
there's also that listening dialouge where a guy is trying to ask Mary-san out and she keeps saying no over and over and gets really angry ..but i can't remember it that clearly or find it in the book ;o;

XD It was hilarious how all that terrible stuff happened to Takeshi.
Especially with the chikan part! lol.

I liked the dialogue for chapter 4 where Mary got stood up and in the end, it turns out that Takeshi went to the wrong place. xDD
