Eh. 'Blogs' are annoying. Since when did keeping something like that get so popular? I have used things like freeopendiary.com, livejournal, and myspace to keep journals for years. But now, people are getting paid to write books about blogging!
What the hell is this?

Well, probably the books are writing about "serious" bloggers, not people who just keep journals for fun. For example, my dad gets a lot of interesting/important information from reading the blog of this guy who's a journalist. The newspaper stories of the journalist-guy are more objective facts (because that's how it's supposed to be in a newspaper), whereas in his blog he posts his personal opinions, observations, etc., which can also be a source of information about how things are really going.

::Has a LiveJournal, GreatestJournal that she never uses, MySpace that she only uses rarely and used to have a JournalFen::
Which might give you an idea of what I think of blogs. I do like them, and I use them quite a lot...or I use my LJ a lot, anyway.
I have seen quite a few 'serious' blogs, too, but I'm not really that familiar with any particular ones.

I've programmed my own blog - never use it anymore, though.

I do use my Gaia journal, however I haven't posted in it for a while. And I have an msn space blog thing. I used to have a live journal but I don't use it anymore.

I have a myspace that I use somewhat frequently. I usually don't blog, but I talk to my friends via the chats and comments avaliable for use.
I also have a xanga, deadjournal, livejournal, and a few others that I can't remember. I haven't been on any of them in ages, however.

I use MSN space on occasion to blog, and I used to have an open diary one but I haven't been on it for about 2 years.

I don't really use any of the blog things I've started. I really only use them to stalk my friends. ninja
