It was a slightly overcast day. The kind of day where most people would say 'forget this' and stay inside with hot chocolate and a cozy fire. This was the kind of day that usually called for relaxation. Of course, though, the two mirror haired boys walking down the streets were not most people. Nailen duGabrielle found that the days that Mythen told him were overcast, ended up being the best days to go shopping. Mythen held onto his Guardian's hand skipping a bit to the 'tak-tak' of Nailen's staff on the ground. The sound was comforting, to the small mousse white pocky boy. It meant he was with someone he trusted, and the blind elven seeming male was almost always fun to be around....well, to Mythen at least. He and Nai had been together a while, after all!

Making their way to a grocery store, they had a list packed away in their pockets. Mythen, himself, was eagerly awaiting it. Groceries with Nailen was always interesting. The blue eyed one had this idea that he could do this by himself, when he couldn't even see the labels on the boxes. He found it funny, and oft times just steered Nai in the right direction, and let him grab at items, until Mythen finally told him, "Yes, that's the one." It was a game! A fun one that he had enjoyed greatly for quite some time,
"We are almost there, aren't we?" Mythen sighed a bit heavily,
"We're here, Nailen. What do we need today?"

Useless question, true. Mythen always asked it, though, because of the fact that Nailen wouldn't tell him otherwise. Reaching into Nai's pocket, discreetly, Mythen looked over the list. Basics. Milk, Eggs, Bread, Butter......what the...? Cookies? Okay. Mythen couldn't say he minded that one, and most of the rest of his list was just normal small sweets that the pocky boy loved, but then there was something that he didn't expect. Beef? Nai ate meat? That the child didn't know. His Guardian usually stuck with vegetables, and breads, and the occasional bit of chicken here and there. He was confused by this. Oh well. Onwards to shopping!
