Well I own Reverse of Arcadia, and seeing as how when I used an AR code to get the God Cards (instead of waiting to download them on a specific date), I noticed, despite using the Illegal version artwork, they had the effect version effects. Slifer's effect was identical to it's Nightmare troubadour one, plus the whole normal summon can't be negated, card effects cannot be chained to the summon deal like the other two have. So I figured, Slifer was going to be released as an Effect version with this effect. as such, I decided to come up a Slifer Turbo deck. Have a look.
Main Deck: x40 Monsters: x20 Slifer the Sky Dragon x3 The Tricky x3 Level Eater x3 Destiny Hero - Defender x3 Quickdraw Synchron x3 Shield Wing x3 Dandylion x2
Spells: x7 Heavy Storm Dark World Dealings x3 Swords of Reveiling Light Pot of Avarice x2
Traps: x13 Light of Intervention x2 Appropriate x3 Dark Bribe x3 Call of the Huanted Mirror Force Seven Tools of the Bandit x3
as you can see, I'm using appropriate for my main draw power. Slifer is joked as being the executive producer because of a 4kids inside joke. So i figured, like an Executive, he's the boss. Light of intervention helps him decide which of my opponants monsters stay on the field and which don't (his effect of popping any monster with 2000 or less def my opponant normal summons or flip summons). Appropriate is pretty self explanitory, just like an Executive, he gets added benefits if his workers get them. Dark Bribe is like saying, you can't do this, so I'll increase your pay, and then appropriate says, because you make money, so do I. The main focus of the monster's is to get 3 tributes out as fast as possible while still leaving time to normal summon, using appropriate to make up for the lack of hand later. The deck treats my opponant as the employee, and myself as the Boss. It's an incredible Summon Lockdown with nice draw power.

Completely aside, it's not really an inside joke that Slifer was named after someone from 4kids.
They decided to change it from Osiris to Slifer, no clue WHY, though.

They decided to change it from Osiris to Slifer, no clue WHY, though. Actually it was an inside joke. One of the 4Kids executive producers had the last name Slifer. I believe he was part of their dubbing of Yu-Gi-Oh!, so they changed Osiris to Slifer, as to why, we have no clue, it's an inside joke after all.

triplefife I'm feeling pretty lazy seeing as I just got done working, but can you tell me what slifer supposedly does so that I don't have to look it up? ninja This card can only be normal summoned by tributing three monsters (this card cannot be set). The normal summon of this card cannot be negated. Neither player can activate spell or traps when this card is Normal Summoned. If this card is special summoned, it is sent to the Graveyard during the endphase of the turn it was special summoned. This card cannot be targeted by the effects of Spells, Traps or Monster Effects. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each card in the controller's hand. When your opponant Normal Summons or Flip Summons a monster with 2000 or less DEF, that card is automatically destroyed.

triplefife thats a pretty cool effect. razz On the contrary, that simply means it destroys itself when you summon the majority of monsters in the game. It has nothing to benefit itself from a huge flaw.

In Stardust Accelerator my friend and I built a Gadget deck with Slifer,
Gadgets + Ultimate Offering = Slifer with 6 cards in hand.
Stripped down to it's core, it was a simply anti-meta approach with Slifer included.
Looking at the way your deck is built, it doesn't seem like I can fully abuse Slifer's hand management effect. Instead, you focused it on getting three Tribute's out ASAP.
Appropriate + Dark Bribe isn't enough to maintain a healthy hand when your discarding cards like it's nobody's business.
