Spiller is one of the most gifted athletes since Adrian Peterson.. Speed, size, burst everything. He's just a pure beast!

how bout Noel Devine?? loljk
But out of those two, I'd pick C.J Spiller, He's super fast, and stats are better, (not that im relying on it razz )

I would rather have CJ. Only because there was a couple of games even before Javid got hurt where he struggled pretty hard against poor run defense teams....Like Oregon, he only had 60 yards that game...which isn't much fore Javid Best.

CJ Spiller will be the best RB in this draft.
...But if Dexter McCluster is available for the Giants in the third round, I'd really like them to select him. He'd be a great full time kick-returner on special teams, as well as an explosive offensive weapon.

But I don't think there is a great running back available in the draft, if I were a GM and I needed a RB I would probably go with Georgia Techs Johnathon Dwyer.

He's way too small for any other position.

If it were based on stats, the obvious choice is Spiller. In fact, I was shocked to learn that he wasn't invited to the Heisman ceremony last December because I thought that he was certainly more valuable to his team than McCoy, Ingram, Gerhart, Tebow, OR Suh. He not only ran extremely well, but caught and returned kicks and punts. He even through a TD pass, if I'm not mistaken.
When it comes to raw talent, though, I'm a bit torn. Best was having the best (no pun intended) year of his career until he went down with a concussion against Oregon State last year. He was a critical part of Cal's offense last offense and will help whoever drafts him next Thursday or Friday and I will be very surprised if he makes it to Saturday.
That being said, I'm going to have to say Spiller is the better pick right now because of the injuries. Either player could certainly be a Rookie of the Year candidate depending on the team that drafts them. Right now, I see Spiller going 9th to the Bills and maybe even 14th to the Seahawks, but I think that Best will go either late 1st round (possibly Peterson backup to the Vikes since Chester Taylor's gone?) or early 2nd round to the Lions, Chiefs, or even the Eagles.

I'm sure the Rookie of the year will be a QB just not sure which one.

The Giants might draft Spiller if he falls to #15 and McClain is off the board. And that's pending no trade-up as well. I think Spiller would be a really good player for our team, but it will be tough to gulp considering some needs on defense.

I hope Seattle can nab Spiller at the 14th pick, getting a tackle or a d-end or Jimmy Clausen at the 6th.
Also, Spiller is the best back in the draft, he has all the tools and the stats to back it up.

Seems to make the most sense for them. Anyways, yes, Spiller seems to be the best RB in the draft. But I still don't think he can be a featured RB in the NFL. Spiller cannot carry a full load just yet. He's going to need a compliment.
