1- What We're About
Traverse Past the Shadow Glass is a joint project between myself and Alice; with her behind the art, and me behind the scripting in Danmakufu. It will consist of a storyline based on our own comment RP here on Gaia, four playable teams, and eight stages; extra and phantasm included. This thread will start out with just basic info, but be sure to check back frequently for updates, and journals on the exploits of two bitchy, unmotivated young adults.

2 - The Story
Things seem fine in Gensokyo- the last event being the Treasure ship that Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae all gave chase after. (Followed shortly by some fighting game whom the American masses still can't pronounce)
BUT ONE DAY
There is a rift in the border, and by two unknown youkai's meddling Gensokyo has been overcome with a horrible plague of darkness; even the resident youkai are afraid of the evil beings that are appearing.
Reimu, noticing that Yukari seems to be absent, immediately goes to Marisa and the two of them join forces to find out why the border has been disrupted.
Sakuya is told by Remillia to investigate- China being sent to make herself useful. The maid thinks that the plot surrounding the dark border is more complicated than it seems.
Sanae has been called to attention by the uprising amounts of malicious youkai. Kanako decides to aid the shrine maiden as she once again embarks on a "hunting" expedition.
Mokou sees the clouds overhead change to a horrible hue of purple- as she's running through the woods to see if the human village is in danger, Kaguya sees her and they soon start to race one another in effort to solve the puzzle first.
Why did the border suddenly become unstable? Who were the two youkai that caused this problem?

3- The Teams
The playable teams are still very much under construction, so for now all we may offer is a simple list.
Hero Team: Reimu/Marisa
Scarlet Team: Sakuya/Meiling
Moriya Team: Sanae/Kanako
Immortal Team: Mokou/Kaguya

...so which part of the RP is it based on?
The Malice/Wonderland arc, the EX Rumia arc, the...whatever the hell happened before those arc...
...or all of them in one game? xD
Although I guess the title of the game kinda gives it away that it'll be based on the Malice/Wonderland thing.

Hey, I'd use those the most anyway. Incompatible characters being forced to work together is always full of laughs (for us). And they contain Meiling and Mokou.
Oh, and I want Tenshi and Utsuho now, because of some comics I've seen with them.

Well if this is really based on the Malice arc, then Mokou/Kaguya and Sakuya/Meiling don't make much sense because they haven't had anything to do with all of this in the RP anyway.

Saigyouji Yuyuko Well if this is really based on the Malice arc, then Mokou/Kaguya and Sakuya/Meiling don't make much sense because they haven't had anything to do with all of this in the RP anyway. Maybe it's a "Digest Version"?
