Sitting at the very edge of the Earth clans territory, the soft khaki male with his deep, black mane looked out with glassy green eyes upon the lands beyond those he knew best. He knew, he should be sitting here, watching, waiting, he always knew that was the way it was, he knew he would be here because thats where he was supposed to be. It was a very cryptic way of thinking and he often got lost in the mere thought of thinking this was supposed to be where he was supposed to be confused him so he dropped the subject from his mind and went back to waiting.

Turning his green gaze to the skies he sighs heavily and shakes his head, this was how it always was so why he felt out of place, out of touch, out of sorts sitting here today he wasn't sure. Perhaps he had already confirmed to himself that he was awake with this odd feeling. Perhaps he was simply feeling the odd feeling in his head. He would find out, he was fairly sure, soon enough, who ever was coming he felt would confirm he was indeed awake. The odd feeling wouldn't go away, so he waited.

Zia loved the feel of the earth in this area. Loved the way it moved under her paws when she ran, when she pursued. She wasn't hunting, not really. No...she was just staying in shape, chasing an old memory. Reliving when she and Mah would play tag from mid-sun to sun-down, then flop on the ground and watch the stars. She didn't do it often...but something about the way she'd slept the night before just called up the memories of her first friend, and she'd found herself missing the gray cheetah. It never hurt to relive things sometimes, she supposed.

She probably would have stayed chasing the ghostly image of her old friend in her mind, if she'd not run past someone else. She blinked and stopped rather suddenly, turning around to face the stranger. She didn't recognize him...maybe he was from another clan? She WAS pretty far out in Wolf clan territory. She grinned and perked up.

"Hiya! 'M Zi'athari! Who're you?"

Abiona's head moves to the left as he watches the lioness skip by him and almost literally back up. He chuckles a little as she stops and greets him. "Good day to you." He whispers, his voice, light and airy and almost lost on the wind though it was definitely there. "I'v been waiting for you." He smiles a wistful, though friendly smile, his glassy green eyes looking a little to her left rather than directly at her.

"I am Abiona, Earth clan, you're not of the earth clan are you?" he asks simply, he knew the answer, he had, had this conversation before, it wasn't an assumption it was knowledge. Though she had certainly made him think when she zipped past him, he still remembered what she would say next, but in that simple moment of spontaneity, she had confirmed he was awake. The conversation could be similar from here or even the same but more likely it would surprise him. Being awake, made him happy, this would be a good day for him.

Zia blinked and tilted her head. Waiting for her? He did not know her and yet...how odd. Well, she'd encountered odder. "No, I'm not, Abiona. My sister and I were placed in the Wolf clan. And so far..." She smiled contentedly. "So far, it has proved to be the perfect home for us." Home...she still found it hard to believe she and Mai had found a home in a pride, two lionesses who had been rogues since the day they were born. She trotted up so she could sit in paw's reach of the earthy male. "What did you mean by 'waiting'? I've never met someone I didn't know before that knew they were waiting for me."

Abiona purses his lips and turns his full glassy eyed gaze upon the female, it wasn't that he didn't like looking at others, it was that sometimes looking at them square on brought visions of the future. Nothing came and he felt a little relief was over him. "I apologise, I didn't mean to scare you." He chuckles a little and flicks his ears in his dark mane "I often see who will come to see me, even if I have never met them." He looks down a little sheepishly his voice always a little airy and mysterious even with such a blunt explanation of the matter.

"The wolf, yes, rogues of the wolves often enjoy running the world. You seemed lost in your imagination as you ran past me, what were you chasing?" He smiles a weak watery smile, his gaze curious, he had asked this question before, his mind told him, even though he had never actually asked it.

Zia chuckled. "No worries." Her blue eyes showed no fear, no hesitation in her world. "You didn't scare me. It's just as I said...I'd never met someone who knew they were waiting." Everyone was waiting to meet the people that would influence their lives, after all...most just didn't realize it. She nodded her tan head. "I was chasing a memory of a friend. Our lives took different paths, but she was very dear to me. I supposed chasing her memory once in a while isn't bad. Perhaps I'll even see her again in person one day. To exchange where our paths led." She hoped that wherever Mah had gone with Elenath was a good place, and that she'd found new friends to cherish like Zia had.

Abiona nodded, he was glad she wasn't spooked by him, it was nice to speak to someone who simply let it slide about what he had said. "Old friends are best to be always remembered." He smiles weakly his emerald green eyes looking the lioness over. "I'm sure your friend remembers you too, you have found a good place here, the ela'wadiyi, took me in though I was very lost. It's hard, not knowing but knowing all the time. It's a confusing life, but at least here I am safe." He nods a light nod. "it's always good to know I will see someone, others change my perspective, confirm i am not repeating."

The tan lioness grinned. "Yes. She gave me a new outlook on life. She had her head in the skies, but yet stayed firm on the ground. She was a remarkable cheetah." She chuckled. "This is a good place. Full of life and hope...This place gave my sister and I a home when we thought we would never have one." Zia took a deep breath, taking in his words. "A change in perspective can always be a good thing. Helps keep your head clear, helps you realize that nothing is a mistake." Everything happened for a reason, whether you could see it or not.

The male lion nodded lightly "Yes, everything happens for a reason." He smiles and give a little chuckle. "Certainly if I could day dream I probably would, but my night dreams keep me grounded in the same place for longer than they truly should." He sighs lightly shaking his head "This place is a god send. We all fall on our paws here." He smiles getting to his paws he flickers his tail "This, is where we part ways. Your sister is looking for you." He smiles a wan smile. "We will meet again, I think, yes, we will."

Zia blinked and looked back towards where her sister would likely come from, not seeing anything. But...if he'd seen her, than perhaps he was right. She smiled and nodded at him. "Mmkay. I think we'll certainly meet again, Abiona!" She got up and the smile grew to a grin. "See you later, Abi!" And she started back in, determined to meet up with her sister, and add this new encounter to their den's walls. Another new perspective, another new friend!
