Did this over-prolongued downtime make anyone just a tiny bit pissed?
I was twitching most of the day x_x

No, we had an ice storm here in Atlanta, so for most of the time Gaia has been down, I have had no electricity. I was twitching, but only because it was dark and very cold in here. We finally got it back, some 15 hours after it went out.
Anyway, do you see any differences so far? To me, the avis look a little different, darker or something.

I was twitching too. I needed my daily fix.
This reminds me of a thread in another guild, where someone said that without Gaia they taped tails to their butts and ran around the house looking chibi-ish or something like that. It amused me greatly, but I don't think I would ever tape a tail to my butt...

This reminds me of a thread in another guild, where someone said that without Gaia they taped tails to their butts and ran around the house looking chibi-ish or something like that. It amused me greatly, but I don't think I would ever tape a tail to my butt... Oh yeah! I remember that!

Yes! That was exactly it!!! Was it Tripty who posted that? I think it might have been. Where'd he disappear to, anyway? He doesn't seem to post much in the BR anymore...

Anyways, I wasn't too ruffled by the downtime. The only thing that irked me was that I had rushed to PM my art entry for a Gaian art contest, so I don't think I did that good a job. And now that my entry's turned in, the judge has decided to delay the judging for another week or so due to the downtime. Meaning I could've spent a lot more time on my coloring!

Tripty was in another guild that both LOTF and I are in. He did have a lot going on though, because he was in his final year of Journalism schooling or something like that...

Heh, I wasn't too bothered. It robbed me of some of my nightly entertainment, but altogether I wasn't unduly sad. Maybe that was because I was so tired I was trying to sleep.
ZeeFishee-- that really sucks. sad Perhaps they'll let you resubmit?

It really sucked for me because I'm done with exams so I have little to do all day until I go home for christmas. In the end it cost me a few hours of boardom but I lived.

oh man... I know how you feel Duce. I had NOTHING to do at all today. The only reason I changed out of my pajamas was because I had to walk down a hill in 25 degree weather to hand in a portfolio. grr.

That's dedication. I probably would have conveniently forgotten about that portfolio if it were me. Then again I think anything under 50 is freezing.

Oh, I'm the same way as you about temperature. I hate the cold. But I had to hand in the portfolio. It is being graded to replace a final exam in one of my classes. It had to be in today, too, because no portfolios would be accepted late. I got mine in 3 hours earlier than the deadline.
