Description: Technically, this entry is a fae, although, it breaks a few rules by being tangible like a cryptid- In old folklore, it was believed that fairies could walk among mortals, disguised as normal (yet beautiful) people. Their only give-away was a long cow tail, which they endeavored to keep hidden at all costs. once revealed they would transform back into their monstrous selves.
"We found him unconscious in a brush pile. It took a while, but we managed to gather him up and taking back with us to the house; he was so heavy, I was surprised we made it back at all. I couldn't stop staring at him, he was so unaturally beautiful, but once we got him into the house and onto a bed, he came to and was a wild creature, tearing appart the house like a wind storm.
" Some how, we managed to tie him down to a chair. It seemed like once he realize he was caught, he calmed down and became sensible. When I asked for his name, he told me it was Crimthan, but I'd never heard of a name like that before.
"I wanted to untie him from the chair because it looked so uncomfortable, but even I was a bit afraid of his wildness. His hair was in such a state that we had to cut it just to get the knots and twigs out. His clothes were all sheds and stains, but that couldn't be helped without untying the ropes and none of us were brave enough to get too close.
"He was stronger than we thought; in a matter of seconds, Crimthan had lashed himself free of the bonds and was standing over us on the chair, growling. It was then that I saw the tail: a great, long, black cow's tail. That was all we needed to see to know that he was a Faerie from the wild. We ran from the house as fast as our legs could carry us, but not before shutting and bolting both the doors."
