Team Fortress 2.

The project is simple: replace one of the nine classes in TF2 with a Touhou character! So far, the officially released models are:

Aya Scout
Nitori Engineer
Eirin Medic
Mokou Pyro
Patchu Sniper (I know, it doesn't make sense to me as well, but Eirin is already a Medic... although people suggested Reisen as a Sniper)
Sakuya Spy
Yuyuko Heavy
Suika Demoman
Soldier Reimu
Spy Nue
Soldier Yuka (NEW!)

Koishi is confirmed to be a Spy, while Utsuho is confirmed to be a Soldier.

Now the only priorities are finding VAs and maybe definitely work on the other models.


Anyways, there seems to be some kind of backlash from it, but for the most part people have accepted the project as interesting.

The forum where they are asking for VA help, and the site where said people are uploading their attempts. So far, the last update was December 12 with Nue's skin added to the site.


What's your take on this, guys?
And which characters do you think could fill in these niche fighting rolls?
IS Marisa a Scout or a Heavy??!!

Eh, I'm more of a co-ed team person myself (although TF2 has produced some fiiii-iiii-ine pr0nz~).

I could see that, too. Maybe Sanae as Soldier (although she's not as potentially batshit as Reimu) and Hina as Heavy? The Minoriko sisters can fill in whatever's left.

Although I like seeing Marisa as a Heavy, also remember that she's one of the faster characters in Gensokyo. Not as fast as Remilia, Youmu, Aya, or Sakuya, but still pretty damned fast without all the hax.

Also, Blazing Meteor > Master Spark. Why shoot a laser when you can BE a laser?! :'D

True true, I like co-ed teams too, but I was just sorta comparing the fact that TF2 is completely male while Touhou is (nearly) completely female.

Sanae as a Soldier's not a bad choice either =) And I guess Hina does fit a Heavy *nods head in agreement* The Aki sisters... as Medics? I don't know... Autumn reminds me of food, and most food in games heal you, so there's my two cents...

I also noticed that there's no Demoman... so I nominate Flandre for the role xD
I'll also throw in Suika and Yuugi as Demoman nominees only because they drink sake...

Although, I must say, the skins would be awesome with the regular voices instead of new ones. I mean, what isn't hilarious about Patchy callin everyone a bunch of WANKAS?

....and oddly enough, it works. surprised Also, kind of guilty of wanting Okuu to be a Heavy due to "herp derp Chernobyl-tan" and wanting a delicious Russian accent

@Meiling the Mighty: The Scout is the fastest class in TF2, and he's usually used for distraction purposes, hit-and-run, retrieving the intel, etc. Some of his newer weapons, mainly the Force-a-Nature, can be very powerful is used correctly.

@Blade: Suika is already gonna be a Demoman, but I can't wait to see Demo-Yuugi. 3D Yuugi boobs <3

I suppose that since this is a game where killing and reviving is very normal, they might not need their normal weapons (plus some of them ARE godhax, to an extent). If anything, the Force-a-Nature is Marisa's weapon, hands down.

By the way, Demo Suika is out, here's a video from Suika's pov (and a bit of Sakuya, apparently lolol Flandre's printed on the Ambassador) and the official video from the site..
