Weapon: A deck of cards and twin swords.
Powers: His cards are imbued with magic with which he casts spells, summons weapons, etc. He has the ability to bring which ever card he wants to the top of the deck.
Personality: Dorain is usually calm and collected. He almost always thinks things through rationaly before acting. Sometimes when he uses one of the spells on his cards, his personality changes to match.
History: Dorain became interested in card games at a young age. His father, a stage magician, taught him a few card tricks which he shared with his friends. However they soon came to distrust him when he could pull seemingly any card from the top of the deck at will. He discovered his unusual powers when he one day picked up a tarot card which suddenly burst into flames. Since he didn't have any natural showmanship like his father, he bought himself a deck of tarot cards and decided to travel the world as a fortune teller. It didn't take long for him to figure out that the tarot cards he wielded were insufficient to protect him from attackers, and so he made his own deck of cards with different symbols for the spells he needed to survive. To this day he still travels the world, telling fortunes with his homemade deck, which he adds new cards to as the situation calls for.

Weapon: Claws, teeth, and dark magic. He also wears a necklace around his neck in which he can store some of his energy for later use.
Personality: Durithill is distrustful of most people. He tends to remain silent, but when he speaks it almost always sounds like he's speaking down to everyone.
History: Durithill spent his early childhood in a small village. His father was a drunk and would constantly come home late and beat him for no apparent reason. For several years Durithill accepted this as normal until one particular night when he was eight when his father came back more drunk then ever. His mother and father got into a argument, and in a drunken rage his father picked up a knife and murdered his mother. Horrified, Durithill tried to run as his father turn on him, but found himself in a corner. Somehow Durithill managed to get the knife from his father as he attack Durithill and he plunged it into his father's chest, killing him. He ran from his village that night and kept running until he could run no more, and as he collapsed, he landed on a strange book. Though the book was written in strange characters, he found he could read it. Inside this book was written things he'd never seen and so he began to study it and learn the magic contained on its pages. He built himself a small home where he lived in secret, studying this tome. And the more he read, the more the evil tome corrupted his soul. Soon he began performing experiments on the creatures around him. As he read more and more and his soul was corrupted more and more, he began performing more twisted experiments and soon he began learning the deepest secrets of the darkest of magics. He continued to grow stronger until one day when he was 20 he kidnapped a sentient being to perform experiments on and was discovered. Disgusted and outraged, those who discovered him assaulted his home in the middle of nowhere. He attempted to fight them off with his magic, however he was overwhelmed. Instead of being destroyed, however, he was cursed to live in the form of a wolf and his magic was sealed away except for a small portion left to him to protect himself. To his further dismay, he was told that his curse would not break until he fufiled a certain condition, though what that condition was he was not told. Reluctantly he returned to his home to retrieve his necklace and the book that had started his misery and from there set out to end his curse. After traveling around Vespyra for a time, he eventually wound up getting summond accidently by the fallen Angel Relako and traveled with Reneta and her group for a while before encountering Natalie. Eventually Durithill became fed up with running and being attacked, and attacked Natalie. In his weakened condition he was unable to avoid a retaliatory attack and was shot down and killed.

Powers: He has the power to control the winds.
Personality: Kasofi is bloodthirsty and violent. People who insult him often tend to find those words to be their last.
History: Kasofi was forged in ancient times supposedly from the steel of hell. Originally the blade was a brilliant white, but it was used so much in battle and it drank so much blood that the blade turned black. The malicious soul in the sword consumed more and more blood until eventually the blade grew sentient and began taking over its masters, making them cause horrible slaughters. The cursed blade passed from master to master until eventually it reached the hands of the mercenary Miraldae, who was the first to resist the sword's influence. So the sword traveled with Miraldae until they met Lina and she used a couple magical stones to give the sword its own body.

Weapon: A cursed katana named Kasofi.
Personality: Miraldae is a little bit of an introvert and tends to try to stay away from people because he is afraid of Kasofi taking over his body and killing them. He dislikes killing, but doesn't mind a good fight. When Kasofi takes over, he turns into a blood-thirsty killing machine with seemingly no emotions.
History: Miraldae was born and raised in Rogue Valley, though he had no desire to. At a young age he began to learn how to use the sword to fend off the theives that lived there. He soon became the laughingstock of the valley for not wanting to be a theif or assassin, and he began spending more and more time in the desert around the valley. One day on one of his excursions, he happened across a katana in a simple black sheath, half buried in the sand. Curious, he dug the sword out and took hold it, falling unconsious moments later. The last thing he remembered before everything went black was a voice in his head that said "Finally, a worthy wielder." When he awoke, he found himself standing over the corpses of his parents, his newly aquired katana still wet with blood. That night he fled the valley and has since traveled aimlessly from place to place, his only goal to supress the sword's bloodlust once and for all.

Weapon: Delila
Powers: He can munipulate the world around him with his magic. With a flick of his fingers and a change of tune, he can summon forth fire, cause plants to grow, or even cause a person to feel happiness, anger, pleasure, or even pain. It's said if he knows the song in a person's heart, he can even munipulate their thoughts and actions.
Personality: Psadas's personality can almost be summed up in one word: carefree. Psadas lives on the wind and his music, and it's not uncommon to find him partying in a bar with a group of strangers. Because of his carefree nature, he can often be quite absent-minded.
History: Psadas grew up in Yorston with his father and his childhood friend Desmona, and from a very young age was interested in music. So he picked up a guitar and taught himself to play the instument. For every day, Psadas practiced and practiced until he was the best around. Soon he noticed something strange when he played. The people around him reacted to the music he played, their emotions seeming to match what he played. So he thought maybe if he could control people, he could control the world around him as well. Psadas wrote a new song, and when he played it the winds danced with his fingers. Realizing his power, at the age of nineteen Psadas convinced Desmona to run away with him and see the world. For a few years they traveled until one day in order to pick up a few coins they were hired to kill a man in Theoron. Psadas and Desmona made an appearance at a bar offen visited by the man one day, and in order to kill the man, Psadas played a song that killed the whole crowd. A hunter for the Crystallis Research Academy noticed their actions and brought them back to work as hunters as well. There was a mistake on their first job, however, and Desmona was badly wounded. Luckily Psadas was able to complete the job, but Desmona seemed to consider it a failure and asked the academy to give her a crystallis. Psadas was simply furious, and grew distant with Desmona, refusing to speak with her for almost a week afterward. Eventually he forgave Desmona, however he still holds a resentment towards her crystallis.

Note: Psadas is sometimes called "Satan's Avatar", since the first time he played rock flames lept from the ground like the fires of hell, although he personally dislikes the nickname since he feels it doesn't accurately reflect him.
Psadas has not been seen since he left the Academy.

Race: Fallen Angel
Weapon: He wields a greatsword named Crimson Ruination. Regardless of the ambient temperature, the blade is always warm to the touch, and it occasionally seems to reflect the image of a great conflagration on its surface, even when no fire is present.
Powers: Aside from his dark magic, Relako has the ability to suck peoples' souls out through their mouths.
Personality: Cruel, cunning, and sadistic. He enjoys inflicting both physical and psychological pain on people. Even so, he rarely uses his soul sucking ability.
History: Relako grew up in a fairly well respected household. His father and mother were both demon hunters for heaven, and so he grew up to become one as well. He was trained in the arts of magic and swordplay for several years before he was aloud to go out with a older demon hunter to kill his first demon. There was a problem during the hunt, however. After killing the demon they were sent to take care of, a greater demon appeared and attacked them. The demon captured the older woman who was supposed to be protecting him and Relako, forced to make a decision, attacked through her to kill the demon. The act caused him to fall, but oddly enough he didn't mind. In fact, he found that he enjoyed killing. He continued to hunt demons, but instead of killing them he captured them and forced them to teach him the dark arts. Over time his wings turned as black as his soul and he gave himself a new name to reflect the change. Now he continues to travel to increase his power.

Powers: His cards are imbued with magic with which he casts spells, summons weapons, etc. He has the ability to bring which ever card he wants to the top of the deck. His touch can also chill and weaken.
Personality: Alfred is very outgoing with a fiery passion. Even though he's young, he always tries to take charge and act like he knows everything. He prefers to capture his opponents alive since he's never actually killed before.
History: Alfred grew up with his mother, never really knowing his father, although he was told that was where he was inherited his features. His life was fairly normal while growing up, until about a year ago a strange man suddenly appeared in their village. The man, named Dorain, impressed him greatly with a display of card tricks he had never seen the like of. It was then he decided he wanted to learn the magic. For a while Alfred pestered Dorain until eventually the fortune reader relented and agreed to apprentice him. Alfred left the village then and traveled with Dorain, learning the secrets of the cards until one day they split paths.
