I'm in high school and although I am not emo, I hang with some emo kids. They accept me into there group, they don't care that I'm not emo.
As for how others treat emo people, it depends on where you live. Like in Mexico emo kids get beat up a lot. In my school emo kids are usually just ignored. That's just a damn shame, because behind the face, they are awesome people.

Well!!
In elementary school, people went so far as to throw stones at me and my friends.. Now that im in high school, they know they can get arrested
So they just pick on me and call me names and bs like that. But im the type that doesnt care because how can someone judge you without even knowing you first. I dont care about anyines opinion that doesnt personally know me.

idk about anyone else but they treat me like freakin s**t, like im a freak from a diffrent planet and that i dont belong, they look at me with discust on there faces and talk bad about me behind my back,they only want me 2 stay away and die,thay hate me and all emos, but i stay true 2 my true emo self, im proud 2 be one and just ignore them

the people at my middle school the people who are to scared to confront us just stare at us like we're freaks and people who will say stuff to our face will make fun of us n mess with us.. you just have to get used to it :]

People treat others the way that others want to be treated.
If you didn't dress and act "how you feel" then people wouldn't treat you any different.
But then again, you can't stop who you are and what you think is cool.

 ppl at my school don't treat emo kids like shi*.i'm emo and so r my clostes friends but it's not like you'll see a jock or someone sitting with us. basicly it's like were just there.no probs.

Nobody likes the emo kids here. There's only like three of us and then there's the scene kids. They treat us like s**t. Everyone else is rednecks, going around and hating us, putting down on us, and going out of their way to make sure we feel like outcasts. Yeah. It sucks.
